Kratos nodded, lost in thought. The near death experience hadnt fazed him in the slightest. "of course....no wonder we didnt get a transmission from them in the proper timeteble." Kratos paced the room, drew his pistol and patted it agaisnt his head. "but the geth....they have radio communications...which means that if we can adapt thier own comm's to our own, we should be able to communicate perfectly!"

Kratos had alook in his eyes that said a plan was forming. "this is gonna sound crazy, and this plan might nto work, but are you with me?"

Kratos patted him on the shoulder. "Good. now heres what were going to do." Kratos sat down at the nearest computer console and enetred a 40 digit code to enter the system. He ran up blueprints of the quarintine labs.

He pointed to the main door. "now, theres only one way in and out. If we can lure those Geth juggernauts and the rest of them to the labs, we can use proximity mines to trigger a set of explosions that will tear those AI bastards apart." Kratos sighed. "the only problem is, all cameras have been shut down in the labs, i have no idea whats in there." Kratos looked at Tanis. "opening those doors could mean we unleash a biological contaminant, or some sort of alien creature that they thought too dangerous to keep in the standard labs."

"but we can't face the Geth head on, those Juggernauts would tear our shields apart. So we've only got two options, open the quarantine labs and deal with whatever is in there, or take our chances with the Geth head on."

Lornadune almost laughed. "The dots have been there forever captain obvious." She had to admit to her self though, that flying, while not knocked unconscious against her will, was actually kinda exhilarating. "What do we do about them?" She asked in a slightly more serious tone.

Tanis nodded solemnly, pointing at the door.
"If we go through the labs, I can use a shield to protect US from any biological threat, or..."
Tanis pointed at the hatch Kratos had come in through.
"We can bust out of here, aim for the weakspot on the Geth Juggernauts and take them out, then trigger the proximity mines on the rest of the footsoldiers." Tanis shrugged. "Either way, it's going to be difficult on both of us. The call is yours, commander."

Tanis nodded and shuddered visibly.
"Only in whispers. But I've seen what they've done to hundreds of colonists."

Tanis nodded solemnly.
"I was away on a patrol when they wiped out my squadron. It's because of them I had to survive alone for all those years. Amazingly, I never saw any of them. Just a bunch of bodies on huge spikes set into the ground." He shuddered visibly.
"Anyways, what is your plan?"

Tanis nodded and took the card. Placing his assault rifle in the crook of his shoulder, he opened the door carefully and walked into the small hallway. All was clear for the moment.
