Reno did a brief double-take. "V? Who unlocked the chains on your desk?" He fell into an easy step next to him. "And what're you doing up in SOLDIER quarters, yo? Looking for ... company on your day off?" He grinned mischievously.

"Now why would I do that?" Vachiron shrugged. "I could have been sent to watch you.... Ah.... set up a few things. But, seeing as that's all over and done with and I believe I just happen to owe a certain someone a beer." The young Turk teased. "As for how I got away from my desk...I don't kiss and tell."

"Pssh. That's because the last person you kissed was your momma," Reno elbowed V with a smirk. "Beer. Yes. Now." A tall frosty one would make the past three weeks seem a lot less torturous.

"Are you looking for a bar fight or do you want to go to a place I found where people will leave me alone if I tell them to?" Vachiron asked. "Believe it or not such a place exists."

Zack groaned while trudging up to Sephiroths room holding the current round of paperwork.
"Need to be delivered immediately my a**." He snorted "I think they just want me out of their hair."
He perked up a little upon seeing the two Turks in the hallway. "Reno man, still on punishment duty?"

"As of three minutes ago, no," Reno grinned with satisfaction. "V claims there's a bar where he actually gets respect, yo. Do you believe him?" He folded his arms across his chest. "I think we need to see for ourselves."
He glanced at Vachiron with a mischievous smile. "If your family runs it, though, I refuse to be impressed."

"No, my family doesn't run it." Vachiron grinned and waggled his eyebrows. "Is the other person that I owe a beer curious enough to join us or are you caught in the paper monkey trap?"

"All you needed to say was 'person I owed a beer' and you know I'm in." Zack grinned. "I'm supposed to deliver these to mean old Sephy, but since I can't find him here, I'll look elsewhere...say, the bar. You never know where he'll turn up."
"Plus, I gotta see this place to believe it. Proof and whatnot." he winked.

"I'll drive." Reno's grin spread from ear to ear. "Race ya to the garage! Last one there is a rotten chocobo egg." He bolted for the stairs, jumped onto the bannister, and started his personal trademarked twenty-floor slide.

"Die are you kidding?" Vachiron cast haste on himself before racing after Reno. "It'll be fun!"

"Hm. I think I've been in the buildings too long if I'm fearing Reno's driving." Zack chuckled to himself. "OKAY! Time to go have some fun!"
With that he took off at a sprint racing to catchin up to Reno and Vachiron.

All was going well for Reno until he hit the eighth floor, and then, depending on your point of view, things either got much worse or much better. It's pretty difficult to stop when you've been sliding down twelve flights of stairs ... and then again, if you see a pretty secretary in your way, you just might not slow down enough to avoid an "accident".
"So sorry about that, Miss Monique," Reno helped her up (and helped himself to a very generous "helping" her up). "Don't know what came over me. Let me get those papers for you. Are you all right?" he asked, all solicitousness.
Moments later, and with a pretty pink lipstick-stain on his cheek for his trouble, he was back on the course.

Vachiron gave a mental chuckled as he he caught up to Reno. On a full slide Reno had this race hands down. But Vachiron knew well given the option of having a race hands down and having his hands down on a lady Reno would take the lady.
And might still be talking with her if not for the race and beer at the end of the tunnel.
