... Take care of, huh. So those maids were going to 'take care of' them, the so called 'whores' and 'hussies' and 'undeserving tarts' with their 'undeservedly handsome men' and?...
Wait, what?
Poor Shae's mind was still in a bit of a jumble from her own (thankfully LESS humiliating) bathing experience, but... if she was grasping anything among the maids' whispers properly, it sure didn't bode well for she and Aster at ALL--
"Ah, darlings, there you are!"
Oh, and neither did that, for no sooner had the latter girl sent the maids packing did yet ANOTHER woman traipse onto the scene, albeit much older and friendlier this time, sauntering down the hallway and, without so much as a warning, hooking one hand on either of her soon to be victims' arms.
"Now now, let's not dawdle, my dears!" Delilah fawned oh-so-sweetly... and before Shae could even begin to comprehend what was happening, found herself being tugged along in her elder (and patron's) giggling wake. "Now that we're all clean and lovely, we've aesthetics to cover!"
A... Aesthetics?!
Oh, no. OH GOD NO.
It took Yossarian a few moments to grasp the source of that particularly vile sounding cough, and even when he did, their 'savior's' motives struck him as suspicious (both his female comrades had proved themselves as cunning little manipulators), but... at least he was free to snag more towels now without indecent exposure, and did so without hesitation.
One for the tail, another for the legs, a third for the arms and a fourth for the hair-- yes, that was how many it took for him to move from sopping wet to tolerably damp, and even then, there was a little bit of residual moisture that no amount of scrubbing would get off until he'd air-dried for several minutes.
... With his clothing preferably ON, of course.
If only he could've known that they were just walking out of one frying pan and into a great big BONFIRE TO SCORCH THEIR WITHERED DIGNITY...
Not that the smelly water hadn't ruined that already. Good god, he STILL smelled like he'd just taken a bath in toxic women's perfume.

Aster could feel her fur stand on end as the voice of the women pierced the air, severing the any thoughts she'd been having in terms of self-preservation at the BASE in their entirety.
'Aesthetics'.... 'Aesthetics'.
Oh Damn she needed Yoss out here (only not, given the 'how clothed are you' situation) to see her utterly confused expression, tell her she was an idiot, sigh, make a slightly cringing expression for it, then dumb down that word for her.
Because she was FAR too embarassed to want to admit to the current company that they were dealing with a bit of a...... yeeeeeaaah.
Though she was thrown a bit of a hint when Thane, who was apparently unphased by the two towel-covered girls and their sense of 'modesty', made a comment to his wife of the nature of "Ah, the young fold-girl -will- look stunning with some work. Not as lovely as -you- though, m'dear, but I'm sure you'll do great work with both of their canvases."
Oh no, she was -sure- she wasn't going to like where this 'adventure' was going to take them.
And what a frying pan of scorched dignity it would be.
Kanda had walked out of the bathroom just to be -deafened- by a series of giggles and even a shriek of fangirlish joy from... where... the... hell? Dammit! Why did stalkerish females have to come with an uncanny ability to hide?!?
But that was a 'glance around' thought doted upon before spotting their 'benefactor' in this little Dante's Inferno adventure giving the pair of men a rather welcoming smile.
"Ah, I see you too are nice and cleaned up as well. Your lady counterparts have already been ushered up by my Delilah" GUSH, Ugh, Kanda thought he'd choke on it, "So I'm sure you two fine young men," another flurry of giggles from the slightly opened doors behind them in the hallway, "should be quick to join in their activity."
............................... He wasn't sure he wanted to know what 'activity' the girls were participating in. Especially if they'd just gotten out of the bath as well. and ESPECIALLY if they needed the guys to participate in it as well.
"In just a towel?" he replied flatly, hoping for an excuse to go get dressed before Thane just smiled even more broadly.
"Of course not, that's why we're getting you fine young men -dressed-."
And probably with some mode of 'assistance' with the squeal of the girls behind him.

Sure, Shae might've been sufficiently 'covered' (for the moment), but that wasn't giving her ANY comfort following the implications of their 'darling' patron that she'd soon be stripped and shoved into a d-- ... a dre... Oh god she couldn't even bring her inner monologue to recite the word with so many frightening implications.
Thane's doting (and Delilah's return doting) had only caused a momentary delay as well, for the elderly woman seemed particularly eager to get this fresh new torture underway (the fact that she'd come in person to snare the victims spoke volumes) and continued swiftly down the hall, over the river, through the woods and--
Okay, it was actually more of a lengthy corridor navigation until they reached one of many grand 'storage' rooms, full of mirrors and dress-clad mannequins and sewing supplies in little stations where many a tailor and seamstress had frequented...
"Well then!" Releasing the arms of either victim (and it took everything in Shae not to shrink back and run the other way), Delilah slipped off inside the room, making a grand, lavish gesture to either wall. "Do look around, darlings! If you see something that strikes your fancy, we'll try it on-- though I'll be more than pleased to pair you with a number of lovely gowns as well! Let's get started, shall we?..."
Oh, if only Shae could've fled the scene-- if ONLY-- but alas, she resigned herself to (CAUTIOUSLY) sidle in, clutching her towels like some last feeble form of comfort that threatened to be ripped away.
And would be in good time.
But little did she know that they weren't the ONLY ones suffering-- for the boys, too, had been given a minor death sentence of their own with the proposition of being... dressed.
Oh, joy.
JOY.
The fact that Yossarian could hear the returning of certain disturbing FANGIRLS return with a vengeance did nothing to help his mood, trying and failing not to glower at the current object of his misery (otherwise known as 'Thane').
"Dressed?" he echoed, attempting to GLARE at a few of the timid maids over his shoulder who were peeking around the hallway corner (... and only succeeding to make them giggle and twitter MORE), before he gave up and sighed deeply. "Are you referring to... formal suiting?"
Oh god why. Why did he even ask. THIS WAS GOING TO SUCK REGARDLESS OF THE ANSWER.

Everything. Showed. Off. The. Back.
At least most everything that Asteria made a point to look over, if only to entertain Delilah, finding herself pausing once to -really- consider if one dress (in a dark tealy color oooohhhhh, her favorite) was worth showing off the very -top- off her back in. Though it did kind of show off more in the front....... but that didn't seem -too- bad?
A little frilly in some places, but overall it seemed to hit the places she wanted to remain unseen by prying eyes.
Which left her standing and staring at it for a while.
"For... what purpose are we wearing these? Just... casual?" she asked, looking toward Delilah and carefully making sure the Towel was -tightly- wound around her. Last thing she needed was for it to make a desperate escape off of her.
"Not -so- formal. Just more casual than what you two young men were wearing before." he assured, but by the way he and his wife had been dressed it was obvious his level of 'formal' was on an insanely -high- level.. which left his 'casual' to.. well, the normal person's 'formal'.
Kanda felt himself refraining from groaning at the idea, one hand -firmly- latched to the towel around his waist, as he had no intention to lose it anytime soon.
Instead he vouched for a sigh.
"Lead the way." he half-hissed, feeling all the eyes on the back of his head. Either way they were going to be subjected to being dressed up, he'd rather not remain a peanut gallery in the hallway for much longer.
Which earned a light motion of 'this way please' from Thade before he turned to start the 'trek'... which would probably lead the two men as close to 'grandmother's house' as the girl's had been.

... There was so much exposure. WAY, WAY TOO MUCH OF IT.
Apparently Aster wasn't the only one to suffer a bit of shell shock at the sight of such... revealing garments, as Shae, for the better part of three minutes, just stood at the mess of dresses and gaped silently. Low backs, plunging necklines, form fitting curves and.. oh god, no, this just felt too far beyond her. Practically all of them would risk showing her...
"Oooh, taken a liking to that one, having you darling?" But the girl's thoughts were interrupted by a gleeful Delilah who, to her immense RELIEF, slipped right by her in favor of dear, dear Aster.
"It's silk, you know," she pointed helpfully, sitting a thin hand lightly on her shoulder, "a very fine variety from the far east, imported and stitched by a dear seamstress I know..." Oh, she just seemed to love doting and gushing over the smallest of things, didn't she? "It looks a good size and color for you as well-- shall we try it on?"
... Wait, as in... stripping off the towel and just throwing it on? NOW?
Tch, this windbag's idea of 'casual' was certainly anything BUT to Yossarian, who still found the idea of such 'dressing up' to be an entirely silly, frustrating and useless concept-- doubly so now because he had to play along and do it.
But if one thing was for sure, it was that he'd prefer a stuffy suit to an irritating flock of twittering girls, stomping along right behind Kanda when he glanced behind him and saw that they had somehow MULTIPLIED to about ten now and were still smiling and blushing amongst themselves like ignorant schoolchildren with a first crush. Honestly, just how desperate WERE these raving lunatics!?
They obviously didn't get out much.
But that aside, off we went at the tail end of the traveling group, destined for only who knew where in his trusty... uh, bath towel.

Blahblah silk, blah blah imported, blah blah tr-............. .....
Try on -where-?
Asteria had cringed a little under the hand on her shoulder, having been -quite- unexpectant of it, but recovering from the surprise easily to instead gawk at the dress, then down at the towels she was -safely- hidden away underneath.
Was this supposed to be a peep show for someone she DIDN'T KNOW WAS THERE or something?
"Um... tr-try it on... -HERE-?" she asked, sharing the same -shock- in this thought that Shae probably did, seeming -oh so tempted- to maybe just throw herself out the window.
But alas, that'd be like the 'retrieving the naked dead body from the tub' ordeal.
A similar trek over the river, through the woods, and past a door which was closed firmly, causing him to presume that the girls were behind it suffering their own torture, before the two young men were ushered into the adjacent room.
Which, like the previous, was full of mannequins, mirrors, and various forms of ruffle and torture....... and spats.
Kanda found himself scowling even more than he was before, eyeing each suit which was as horrible as the next, but making no move to go anywhere -near- them.
"You two lads can take a gander, see what you like. If you can't decide, I'll have Mary Ann and Scherise assist you in making a choice."
While he'd meant the last part as a helpful 'just in case', it sounded to KANDA as though he was being threatened.
'PICK ONE OR EEEELLLLSSSSEE'.
And it didn't help him in his LACK of desire to go look at -any- of them.

"... Where?" Delilah echoed, seeming curious, nay, almost perplexed at first, but then dissolving into a sweet, airy giggle-- as if she'd just caught the punch-line of some really obscure joke. "Oh, well, here of course, darling! Where else would we try it on, hmm?"
And with that, she went about pulling down the dress in question, giving it a last once-over and a nod of approval (the details were truly exquisite) before going to assist a friendly hand in stripping the towel-clad victim--
When a loud cough interrupted.
"... A-Ah, Ma'am?" Surprisingly enough, it seemed that Shae had finally chosen (perhaps strategically) to speak up, timidly gesturing to a mess of softly colored gowns on the other side of the room, "... would you be kind enough to assist me with... ah, selecting an appropriate color?"
"Hmm? Oh, oh, certainly!" Her previous stripping-agenda seemingly forgotten, the older woman immediately switched attentions, waving an apologetic hand Aster's way. "Forgive me for the delay, darling-- I'll be back in just a minute or so!"
... Which meant that Aster had just that, the golden minute of 'a minute or so', to get herself speed-changed and decent.
Shae, in the meanwhile, had just managed to become the joyous decoy and object (or VICTIM) of doting, suddenly blind-sided with a the old woman's good natured fussing over a 'proper' color to match her eyes (which were apparently the only worthwhile feature she possessed).
... Okay, now that? That was more motivation and terror than Yossarian could have EVER needed to be compliant in picking a suit out, feeling the bottom drop out of his stomach at the mention of their little 'fan club' picking out clothing (and oh god he could swear they giggled RIGHT THEN TOO).
It was a threat more profound and scary than any weapon ever. EVER.
"..." Well, he'd better get it over with quickly to avoid that little issue. Heaving a sigh of WOE, the disgruntled and STILL towel-sporting male sauntered over to rummage through a few suits that LOOKED his size, eyeing (or GLARING AT) some rather traditional looking black ones. A tucked in cravat might be tolerable with that kind of coat, and the spats... hell, what was the point of those things, again?
Or what was the point of ANY of this, for that matter?!
But at least he knew he wasn't the ONLY one suffering, as he begrudging rival had to suffer the same humiliation as he did.

Oh god, -thank- you Shae...
Aster gave the other girl a long stare to try and COMMUNICATE this thought for a moment, before she held up the dress, took a deeeeeep breathe, then at least hobbled out of view of the WINDOW to put herself in the most AWKWARD position of stripping off the towels and figuring out the dress.
Which, after about a minute and a half, Aster had -somehow- managed to get on with.. a few problems. She hadn't killed anything, but now she found herself shifting and pulling on edges she was sure were crinkled oddly and...
Oh lord, she'd never be able to slouch in this thing. It simply kept her standing up straight and it was the most uncomfortable feeling in the world.
Along with the whole PACKAGE of being in a dress. Especially one with..... ruffles. Not -bad-, but... RUFFLES.
"Ma'am? Am I wearing this correctly?"
His face simply stayed in that expression as Kanda herded himself into a group of suits as FAR from Yossarian (while not obviously avoiding him, as going too far away as possible would have put him in a group of suits that would -obviously- not fit him) as was politely possible.
Really, he was putting -very- little thought into what he wanted to wear, simply aiming to -PICK- something before the little hoarde of (oh god, the giggling was back) maids rushed into help him dress himself. Oh, Kanda could do that himself.
So it was actually -rather- quickly that he'd made a decision, a nice and 'simple' (IN COMPARISON TO EVERYTHING ELSE) dark gray suit with... well, there was some ruffling to it, but if he didn't pick, he'd be picked for.
Thade had to say he either applauded the young man's sense of style, or that he'd listened to what he and his -darling- Delilah had spoken of earlier in terms of colors.
"Oh ho ho! If you like it, go ahead and try it on." he bid.
Kanda found himself leering at the doorway cautiously, before making a face and getting to the.. not-so-pleasant task of keeping himself out of -everybody's- view to undress the mannequin and redress himself.
Starting with pants, since the torso was less of a concern to him. (Afterall, he'd been getting 'Oh such manly scarring' comments since he left the bathroom).

... While Shae wasn't quite the same caliber of puppeteer that Aster boasted (at least, not publicly), when push came to shove, the girl was capable of some rather sneaky manipulations... if only to save a comrade in obvious peril as she'd just done now. Delilah was more than happy to 'entertain' her for at least two or three minutes with a friendly lecture on the 'best' colors to bring out such pretty eyes.
Yes, always with eyes... which was alright by the latter girl, fully aware that the rest of her was nothing worth mentioning. One salvageable feature was fine by her-- and besides, it (apparently) gave the old woman plenty to go on as far as a dress was concerned, pulling out several grays, blues, and black-silver-creams in a neat pile to try.
... Which she thankfully didn't get around to, seeing as Aster had just spoken up to draw her attention yet again.
And oh, did she ever look starry eyed and impressed.
"Oooh, Asteria, darling, that's lovely!" Her voice was practically dripping with affection, clasping her hands together in a doting gesture as she sidled over to take a closer look (and Shae frantically grabbed a random dress to shove herself in when no one was looking). "That color works wonders with your fur and skintone-- and the fit is almost perfect already! Oooh, I'll have to have it tailored just a little, but... what stunning beginner's luck!"
Or fool's luck, more like. But it was something!
"Mmm, and I knew you had a lovely figure underneath those rags," she added musingly, beaming. "Perfect curves, a nice sense of proportion, good bone structure..."
Would this suffering EVER end?
Yossarian certainly didn't believe so, frowning as he picked through the 'traditional' black outfits with a slight scowl on his face as though straining to make it look like he gave a damn. And he was, because he really didn't, but if the old man picked up on that particular vibe then he was no doubt DOOMED to becoming the dress-up doll of RAVING LUNATICS and... no. Just no.
He finally settled on a pants-and-jacket arrangement buried behind some mannequins-- black, as expected, but with dark, faint, offishly purple and terribly de-saturated pinstripes observable at a closer look and eggshell frills bordering either cuff. He grabbed some spats after that (STILL not getting the POINT of them however) and a cream colored undershirt with some useless embroidery on it (were those FLOWERS?!) after that, finding the closest large thing (more mannequins as it were) to hide behind while he tugged the pants on... and the shirt too, dammit, because he wasn't about to give the little maidservants a show.
... Er, another show.
But he didn't want to revisit that nightmare while he still reeked of women's perfume and Strawmelon bath oil.

While she was smiling out of embarassment and a lack of anything else to say, her expression INSTEAD mimicked the appearance of an utterly shy girl.
Which Asteria -technically- was. Body-shy at least.
"A-ah.. I wouldn't call my er..." she paused, face growing redder and redder as the elderly woman went on, bringing Asteria a certain degree of embarassed and nervous 'twitches'. Such as shuffling her feet and wringing her hands together.
And a nervous laugh.
"Do I have to take it off now? I'd...rathernot.." she mumbled the last few words which made it sound as though she was -completely- smitten with the darn thing, moreso than she didn't have a distraction with which to keep herself hidden from prying eyes when she took it off.
Ruffles -everywhere-. Well, not everywhere, but Kanda certainly felt like there were as he calmly pulled a nicely printed vest on over his shirt, tucking the cravat into it, then pulling the jacket on over it.
Oh yes, he dressed himself nicely -far- too casually to have been dressed up like this for the first time ever.
Though he could hear a maid out in the hallway simper about how she wanted one of them to mess up so they could help 'straighten them up', and then a -chorus- of dreamy sighs.
It had caused his tail to puff -just- a tad.
However, his appearance, which was laughably formal looking though not to say he wasn't attractive all dressed up, earned approval from Thane.
"Now don't you look charming, lad?" he commented, causing Kanda to seethe internally, moreso then the man continued, "But we -must- do something about your hair."
"It stays." he replied flatly. NOBODY was hacking off his hair. However, Thane waved a hand. "Yes yes, we'll find some alternative solution, just like your friend."
Groan. They were -not- friends.

Well, the 'shy girl' routine seemed endlessly charming to Delilah, who was a firm believer in the old stereotype of girls being mousy and timid and coy to attract their handsome protectors. Oh yes, that would be a fine persona to keep up at the party-- and it'd have the courting 'potential' males flocking to her like vultures on a fresh kill!
... Which was not such a charming analogy, actually.
But oh so ironic!
"Oh, you're fond of it, hmm?" While Aster might've only requested such a favor for lack of anything better to change into, the old woman took it far differently... and she couldn't have been more elated. "Well of course you can keep it on if you'd like! It really does just fit you like a glove, my dear... I'll just have one of the maids drop by this evening after dinner to pick it up for adjustments, that's all."
Her tendency to dote and ramble was working in Shae's favor now, who had raced to pull on the first dress she'd grabbed and was just tugging her tail through a conveniently placed little hole in the back of the fabric. It wasn't quite the same level of 'fanciful' as Asteria's, just a sleek little evening gown (probably silk, again, if the sheen was anything to go by) in a deep payne's gray that seemed almost black, with a silver torso covered in thin, dark lines that almost resembled a cracked riverbed... of sorts.
Being such a small and pathetically 'shapeless' little thing, she felt a bit silly (and a LOT INSECURE) in such... form fitting clothing, but at least the collar of this particular dress was high enough to high anything worrisome... save for maybe a few TINY leading edges on the left shoulder OH GOD SHE NEEDED A WRAP OR SOMETHING--
"My, my..." But too late, Delilah had already spotted her and came sauntering over. "Hmm, you may take a touch more spit and polish, my dear, but no need to worry-- that's a very charming color on you, and the cut is right to show your best places."
... Wait, her 'best places'? What the hell did that mean?!
Yossarian didn't want to show ANY places that he didn't have to (those girls would giggle and blush over ANYTHING from the ankles up), and made certain that both his pants AND undershirt were firmly secured before he staggered back into 'open' territory, taking a bit more care in straightening the cuffs and pant legs (he'd be DAMNED if he gave the flock a reason to descend upon him with more doting) before he testingly slipped on the jacket.
... Huh. Well, for a useless monstrosity it wasn't so incredibly bad; he'd definitely endured worse. Fighting with the cravat until it had been tied and secured with a turquoise brooch he'd stolen off some mannequin, he moved to the spats and--
Wait JUST A DAMN SECOND.
"That man is not!--" he started by reflex, but silenced when Thane's real point sank in... and furrowed his brows in a look of obvious NOT amusement. "And just what is so inappropriate about my existing hairstyle?"
He didn't like where this was going at ALL.

Oh she didn't -need- to attract a hoarde of men to try and court her. She really, really, really, REALLY didn't want it either. She was not to be a trophy wife, house wife, child-bearing wife, or other various 'types' of wives there were to pick from.
IF Asteria got to pick, which she technically did, she wanted to be a 'I love you for all the right reasons' wife. Yep. A little too dream-ridden, but it sounded so nice on paper... or in her head. She didn't exactly have much in the way of writing besides her name and other simple words.
"Ah, yes... especially the color. It's one I'm particularly attracted to." she admitted, smiling meekly, then somehow forcing a straight face on when she mentioned the maids. Oh yes, the maids who were going to 'take care of her' were going to have an excuse to come and go through her room while she -might- have been in there later.
She'd have to find someplace in that ENORMOUS room to hide.
And make sure she didn't conveniently go to visit Yoss or Kanda in that time. That might have resulted in more horrors to await her.
And another flurry of giggles. Was this man -deaf- to the giggles of such a large.... giggle of girls?
Apparently, as Thane simply continued on with his thought without addressing them. "Oh, nothing, nothing. Simply they won't do with the 'norm' of society." he commented, and Kanda found himself making another face.
He knew where this was going.
"But I'm sure the girls will be able to find another style that will suit you -just- fine..."
Which then prompted the hoarde of giggling females into the room to start gibbering quickly and off about their hair and 'Oh the wonderful things they could do with it'.
Frankly, as long as it was simple, he'd be able to let them mess with his head and then be free of them within ten minutes.
Tops.

Oh, but Asteria didn't exactly have a choice in the matter now-- as she was, without a doubt, the most beautiful and effective 'bait' of the lot already. Not that Shae was a complete eyesore in her little gown (though she was radiating enough AWKWARD and overwhelming DISCOMFORT to choke a mule), but the latter female just... didn't quite have that special feminine touch Delilah needed.
Nope, that was aaaaaaall Aster. Lucky her, eh?
Finished with her doting on the current 'victim' with a few little critiques ('oh, perhaps a little frill on the chest to give you a bit more interest up there' and 'hnn, we'll need to make certain you have some delicate accessories' among other things), the old woman addressed both girls with the usual bright smile, knitting her fingers together across her front in a thoughtful gesture.
"Mmm, that was easy enough!" Oh, yes, for her maybe... "So then, what say we celebrate your beautiful new looks with a nice meal downstairs, hmm? I'm certain those dashing young beaus will appreciate it!"
Wait a minute-- just what did that mean?!
And the 'OH GOD OTHER PEOPLE ARE GOING TO SEE THIS' realization did a lovely job of draining the color from her face, trying not to whimper in abject HORROR as the kindly Delilah sidled back into the hall, making a gleeful gesture for them to follow.
Could this possibly get ANY more embarrassing?
... If only they had known the torture Yossarian and Kanda had just been damned to suffer, as the former male looked on toward a STILL multiplying flocked of women (jesus, were there TWELVE now?) and cringed inwardly as they giggled and blushed.
That Thane couldn't be serious, right? He wasn't going to loose the HOUNDS OF GIGGLING HELL upon their hair, right?!
Ugh, this wouldn't turn out well... but if he HAD to suffer it, best to get it over with and be DONE as quickly as possible.
Tch, he'd give them FIVE minutes tops, and if the twittering little fools attempted to fling themselves across his lap or tried any... illicit clinging (in ANY way, shape or form) he'd pry them off with his scabba--
Oh, s**t, he wasn't wearing his sword since he changed, was he?!

Aster was waiting to MELT out of her dress under the doting affections of the elderly woman (lord, it felt like she had a grandmother all of a sudden). Oh, how she just -longed- to flee this dress, flee the formalities, and maybe go get eaten by that bed.
-THAT- would have been nice. In fact, the nicest thing about all of this was that she didn't need to pay for room or board for a while. But it was also going to be a 'bit' of an adventure.
"A-ah..."
This woman was constantly finding ways for her to feel awkward about wearing this dress. But she had very little time to object in any shape or form before the woman had left the room, beckoning for them to follow...
Which she did with a light sigh.
Lord this thing was hard to walk in without stepping on it. This would take some work.
He wanted to kill something. Oh, was this worth it now that they were this far into it? Was it NOT worth it now that they'd both given up a chunk of their masculinity to play peanut gallery?
Either way Kanda forced compliance as a pair of the girls forced him to sit so the rest could fuss over his head and hair... though one of them sat there stroking it and giggling until another of them swatted her off.
In fact, he had to force himself to watch Yossarian's suffering in order to -not- bring physical destruction down upon the giggle of girls. Oh how appropriate a term for a group of them that was.
Kanda had no use to find Mugen to slaughter this lot, but it seemed as though Thane had poked his head out into the hallway to gush affection at his female counterpart.
All he really heard was:
"Well! Don't those two young ladies look -stunning-! My, are you going down already?"
Well at least the girls seemed to be 'enjoying' themselves.

"..." Oh, how Shae wanted to turn the other way and flee as fast as her legs would carry her-- but those damned obedient reflexes still overrode her better instincts and, with a thin sigh of resignation, the smallest female trailed off on Aster's rear and towards yet another new and inevitable humiliation.
But there was one minor consolation this time (or two if you counted 'eventual confirmation that the boys are alive'); a 'meal' meant food, and food, regardless of bells, whistles, frills or garnishes, just HAD to be a good thing!
Thankfully she'd taken a little more forethought in her dress's design as well as the 'color' (and other useless parts), making sure to pick a one that cut off around the calves so as not to impede her movement too much. She was still going to try and be as 'functional' in her form as possible and--
"Ah, Thane, darling!" Huh, so the doting old duo had been reunited in a chance crossing of paths (sort of), as the old woman at the lead beamed and trotted over to her husband's side for a brief exchange. "Oh, they're both doing just wonderfully, aren't they? And how are the boys? Oooh, looks like they're getting quite a treatment! Be gentle, all of you!"
"..." Yossarian could only sit there and glower miserably at the rotten old duo who'd caused his misery, held in place by a pair of twittery hands on either shoulder (which were trying to GIVE HIM A NECK RUB THAT HE DID NOT WANT NOR ASK FOR) as two more little maids, one with ever-so-faint calico patches and another sporting perfectly formed cat ears sans the fur, fussed and doted and COOED LIKE INFATUATED PIGEONS at his 'amazingly well kept and handsome' ponytail... which had just been let down.
Dammit, that was NOT A THING HE EVER DID IN PUBLIC EVER. EVER.
While he suffered, Delilah looked on fondly, leaning over to give Thane a light kiss on the cheek. "Mmm, indeed, my dear, we're headed down to the dining hall now-- will you be joining us soon?"
Poor Shae even had the morbid impulse of curiosity to peek inside the door (if only the tiniest bit)... and immediately winced, watching as Yossarian's long bangs were wrestled back into a much lower ponytail (and did one of those maids have a RIBBON to tie it with? he wouldn't appreciate that...), and Kanda scowled in blatant disapproval as he suffered more or less the same horror, looking... like he'd probably slaughter something later, yes. A simmering kind of HAET.
