BaNdon4eVeR Seeing if there are any musicians who are playing the songs by NIN, Tool, and APC. I'm a rather inexperienced bassist, but casually play (or attempt to play) the riffs of these bands. Postings on experiences playing or personal tablature for the songs would be excellent. Here's the main bass riff for Forty-Six and Two: 3x: D---5--35--75--3523 E-0------------------- 1x: D---5--35--75--85-- E-0------------------- Yeah that's the first tool song we covered! We all learned it by ear. If you have a dedicated group then put the time in - if you play it start to end without screwing up, the feeling will be worth getting AIDS biggrin I'll get my brother to look at the tab (he's the bass) and let you know if there's any errors. I don't understand that crap I'm just the drummer hahaha razz

I play bass, guitar, violin, cello, viola,and the string bass and also sing i have a in the makeing garage band its trying to go somewhere but sadly hasent i sing and play a crummy lead guitar in it. First song i learned on guitar was Aeinma first on bass was vicarious and i can play an interesting version of stinkfist on the violin. (stole the idea from string coversong of it).

I play guitar and viola..and i can sing a bit. I can play wings for Marie and 10,000 days (wings for Marie part 2), and most of Lateralus. Now i'm learning Stinkfist, and Aenima.

I'm kind of new at bass (two years, I think), and I can't play any Tool songs straight through, but I know bits of songs like 46 & 2, 10,000 Days, The Pot, Schism, and Pushit. When learning songs, I'm not very good by ear, so I look up tabs, and sift through all the crap to find a few that have certain parts right (Schism ver. 1, Schism ver.2 ... Schism ver.18, Shcism ver.1, Schismrightone, Schism (100000000% correct), etc.).
