Angela shuffled in, looking as tall as ever, but yawning every few steps as she made her way up to the teachers' table. To her annoyance, Sabrina was already up and sitting at the teachers' table, looking as perky as ever. She started to hand out schedules to the Gryffindor students, trying (desperately) not to yawn while they asked her questions.
Lace immediately sprang for the bread and marmalade as soon as she was seated as Scilia and Chris took a more slow approach upon the piles of kippers (whatever those are), toast, jam, marmalade, and bacon. They accepted their schedules not-so-enthusiastically but didn't complain until Professor Freid had left in a bout of yawning.
Henry entered the Great Hall, feeling overstretched and tired. He found his sister sitting at the end of the Ravenclaw table, eating and joking with her friend, Kathrynius, who promptly glared at him as he greeted his little sister. They had never quite gotten along well. He seated himself at the Gryffindor table, talking and joking with the people around him.
Jackie rolled her eyes to herself at Brittney, not caring if the girl noticed. She was probably better than her anyway, she spent most of her time studying silently, didn't she? There wasn't anything better to do anyway, and a good fight might help her to vent some of her excess energy anyways.
Chelsea and K.L. entered the Great Hall and sat to themselves, laughing and joking. They were quite okay at being loners; Chelsea was the only Weasley in Ravenclaw and K.L. was the toughest girl probably in the school, maybe minus some of the Slytherin kids. They launched into breakfast, bright and cheery, seeing as their schedules were awesome and happy-happy.

Heather was excited as usual, bouncing in her seat. She was wide awake and already half done with three pieces of peanut butter on toast.
Damien sat down beside Chris, still idly mumbling about the complexities of some spells, non-chalantly putting bacon and toast on his plate.

Brooke looked to Heather to her left. "Can you pass me a biscuit please?" she asked.
Sabrina chuckled to herself at Angela's obvious lack of sleep.
Brittney ignored Jackie. What importance to her was someone who spent all of their time in the library?

Someone's gaze caught Angela's attention. She looked swiftly up, trying to see anything clearly as her eyes filled with tears from the hopeless continuation of yawning. She spotted Sabrina chuckling to herself in her direction and sent her a look that clearly said, 'We'll see about this'.
Chris rolled her eyes, amused at how absorbed -and maybe slightly obsessed- Damien was acting about the spells on the Quidditch pitch, and when she couldn't take it anymore, she stuffed a buttered piece of toast into Damien's mouth to get him to shut up.

"Ou oh, I eeally 'ate ou 'ight mow," he grumbled at her in reply, but smiled as he slowly chewed the food, then chased it down his throat with a long swig of orange juice.
"Mm, sure!" She replied, once again clearly wide awake as she passed Brooke a plate of biscuits.

"Thanks," Brooke murmured, taking the plate and setting on on her own. "What year are you?" she asked the girl. She looked about fourth year, maybe fifth.
Leya giggled at Chris' outburst and Damien's reaction. She rolled her eyes. "You guys are so weird," she concluded, smiling.

Lily was ulitmately excited she was in Gryffindor, for obvious reasons. Her family would be prouder than ever. "Annabeth, Annabeth! Look!" She pointed at the food on the table, then she looked at her schedule. Immediately she went to Annabeth to compare. Annabeth quietly shoved her schedule at Lily, then went to analyzing the people at the table. She was so glad she had been in Gryffindor. The Slytherin Table looked scary. She heard Leya, Chris, and Damien. "H-hi."
Alyssa ate the food, smiling at being in Ravenclaw. No, she wasn't the bravest, but she was in the smartest house.
Proffessor Maldina sat, proudly looking at the Ravenclaw table. She was Head of House in Ravenclaw, something Maldina didn't forget. Of course, she'd be teaching everyone in Charms, which was exciting.
Madam Stone was sitting, watching the first years with interest. Another new year of Quidditch, with new players and games.
(I'm not sure if the teachers are in the Great Hall or not.)

((They are, no worries))
Scilia rolled her eyes, exasperated. She snapped at Damien, "Yes, that was so snappy, I could almost even understand what you just said to her," before returning to trying to pry some of the biscuits - which were becoming colder and harder - off of each other.
Chris shot back indignantly, "I'm not as weird as Damien; he was mumbling to himself about the spells and he was talking about that ten minutes ago!" She went back to finishing the last of her pumpkin juice when she heard the greeting, which sounded almost like a mutter of shyness or bitterness. She looked up. "Hey," she called to the girl who had just said hi to whoever. She didn't care who it was meant for.
((We should have like something that tells everyone what the schedules are, so that they don't have to make up everything, right?))

"Oh, I'm in second year," Heather giggled in reply, tilting back in her seat.
"No, what's weird," Damien corrected, able to talk again,"is when you're just trying to help your cousins feed a three-headed dragon, and then it splits in to four." He shrugged at the memory, not entirely sure if it was worthy of conversation as he picked at his bacon.

Leya justed shook her head slowly. She looked at James, who was just trying to keep up with the conversation. She laughed at his face. "Hello," she told the small girl. She seemed so small compared to everyone else. Must be a first year, she thought.
Brooke nodded. "I'm a 6th year," she told her. "What's your favorite subject?" she asked her, making conversation but still curious.
(I'll do that today. I have nothing to do anyways. 3nodding I'm kinda sick so I'm in lockdown in my house) (Head of Houses are handing out schedules to the students at the moment.)

(Oh, so that would be Professor Maldina. Alright.)
Professor Maldina stood up, student schedules in her hand. Making her way towars the Ravenclaw table, she picked through until she found students she knew.
Annabeth looked at the girl who had replied. "I'm Annabeth. First Year. Who are you?"
Lily had given up on the schedules for the moment to play with a chocolate frog she found.
Erin looked around her table, smiling with delight. It was great to be back in Hogwarts. No, that wasn't it. It was great to be back in Slytherin House.

(is that Leya or Chris? Both responded.) (And the schedules are in the Profiles subforum. I haven't finished them completely yet... but that's what I have) Taylor laughed at something someone said, feeling completely at home at Hogwarts once again.

Scilia, Lace and Chris exchanged looks until Lace piped up and said, "You know that dragons are illegal, right? Especially a three - four headed dragon?" She looked worried as she asked the question, as if she didn't really want an answer.

"He had a license, and was trying to get the three-header to split so he could send them to a breeder in Israel. There were only supposed to be three," he explained with a shrug. He ate the last of his toast then, looking up at the girl Annabeth.
"Subject? I dunno, Care of Magical Creatures? I loved animals before I got my letter, and I love those cool creatures even more," Heather giggled, smiling brightly.

"Uhhuh.....well, isn't dragon breeding illegal in Israel, too? Well, I guess there might be some wilderness that they could put it in, but there are bound to be tourists...." Scilia went on...and on.
