im getting frustrated the episodes with Rock Lee are close to being released and there is no information on who the VA is, only three possibilites but no confirmations crying

I'm almost afraid to watch. I think I may just watch a few minutes, then cry myself to sleep.
The dub isn't all bad though, I have to admit. Steve Blum did an excellent job with Zabuza's death scene in my opinion.

I must say...
I quite like Kankuro's voice. It fits him.
Temari's was okay. It didn't stir much feeling up in me either way.
Gaara's voice... What I heard was great. But I don't think he's said enough to make an accurate call yet...
I taped the episode for you, SH.
Because Kankuro's voice equals heart .

MG-chan I must say... I quite like Kankuro's voice. It fits him. Temari's was okay. It didn't stir much feeling up in me either way. Gaara's voice... What I heard was great. But I don't think he's said enough to make an accurate call yet... I taped the episode for you, SH. Because Kankuro's voice equals heart . the only reason i probably dont love Kankuro's voice is because i hear Apollo from Zatch Bell and Joe from Digimon more than i hear Kankuro. but that'll change over time. Temari is ok seems a little more preppier than i thought but she hasn't been ruined Gaara is soo good. omg i am soo happy with the choice they made. i think they made the best choice for gaara

I didn't really hear. The Tv volume was too low. I was at my friends house most of the time. But we laughed at most of it. Episode 20 is a funny episode. 3nodding

Lee's voice, they definitely going for the night in shining armour thing, but it's not funny at all! So I can't complain.

Lee voice has potential. i think they made him sound cooler in the first impression than he did in japanese. im not complaining i like the voice and all but i was expecting a little more emotion on the "Sakura will u be my gf" thing. but it was all good and they didn't ruin Lee now we wait for Gai-sensei

Actually, I didn't really like Lee's English voice at all. I think what threw me off the most was that his formal style of speaking sounded forced. And...the voice itself sounded like the overly-dorky voice I was afraid they'd give him...
I dunno, I just wasn't impressed...
I was very impressed with Kurenai's voice actor though. mrgreen

But it by no means...is it Lee.
The voice actor went therough the motions just fine. I giggled a little at Lee asking Sakura out and then leaning against wall saying, "Weirdo..."
But it doesn't sound like Lee.
It's like...
Lee's soul was lost in translation.
And all that we get...is the shell of Lee, with all of his youthful vigor sucked out.

But the harsh reality must be faced. Lee's eyes... Those eyes that once shone with youth, and sparkled with enthusiasm, and held the deepest of unreqited affections in (vain) hope... They have become mere caverns. Empty. Lukewarm. Slightly drippy. Lee's voice captivated me so much that I did not pay much heed to Tenten and Neji. I wait for next Saturday, for my Gai to show himself, as Lee waits for Sakura's affections... Hopeful, but I can hear the tiny voice in my head telling me not to hope, for my hopes will only be cruelly crushed again... Gai...

Being as I've never heard Lee's japanese voice, this one seemed okay to me, but I'll take your word that he was once so much more. I have Gai's voice already imagined, and if they do the Bruce Lee voice like you said... There won't be enough tears.
