Xin continued along in her own little world, following after Illusion. Suddenly, she felt something rub against her leg and quickly stop dead in her tracks. What was in front of her was a small rope that she could have tripped over had she not felt it first. Her senses were abnormally strong compared to her inability to pay attention to her surroundings. She then hopped over the rope and continued on mentally patting herself on the back for the save. When she reached Illusion, she noticed that she was talking with two men, one whom she didn't remember ever meeting, and the other, an obviously familiar face. 'Well crap, I didn't actually plan on finding either of them.' Not wanting to give away his identity she began looking around again trying to find something to distract herself. 'Just act like you don't know him. If he wants to share who he is, he will.'

Menos blinked once, listening to Illusion's explanation. He took a moment to think to himself about it. Could Kiro still be alive? It'd be great news to not be the sole survivor of the destruction at Omgitt Jord. Also, why would the princess of Air be here of all places? It was probably best not to call attention to the situation if Illusion herself would voyage to a foreign city without guard and declaration. "Well as a matter of fact, I've also been searching for Kiro. I have some rather gruesome topics to discuss with him."
His eyes shifted to Xin as she approached, then back to Illusion. "Well you have the princess, Xin with you." Menos turned and bowed to Xin before continuing, "However, I can't provide any clues to Kiro's whereabouts."

Illusion bit back her fustration. "I see,well in the case of not being able to find him, not being able to find Xin's brother, and Xin not being able to help very much..." She turned to the princess and bowed apologetically. "I'm afraid that I have no more reason to stay here, every moment I'm absent my country faces being attacked, and if I cannot find an alliance with water...fire is offering their protection and cooperation..." The thought of aligning with fire, the ones whose King ruined everything! Her stomach turned in painful ways.
She looked at Mor, Kat, and looked around for Artemis who was apparently still looking through the city for Kiro. "You two hate the water pressure, and our reason for being here was wasted. Ready to go home?" Illusion wasn't known for giving up, but she had been gone long enough to know that if she did not return soon, her country might fall and she wouldn't be able to help until it was too late. They had been gone for weeks.

Menos half held out his hand in attempts to interrupt. "Well, just a minute. I'm not presently certain that the Air nation is in danger. We're currently allied with with fire and there's been no intention of invading air. Other than that the majority of the earth nation is in ruins due to attacks by fire, the catastrophe at Omgitt Jord, and an unscheduled attack in Terra Tanta. It wasn't our intention but it looks like they're on the verge of collapse." It probably would have been classified information that he shouldn't just throw around like this, but since Illusion was the princess of Air chances were that this would have come to her attention sooner rather than later anyway.
"If it is provisions you seek, Princess Xin could probably mandate and organize them. If it is military force, I can organize it if I can't relay the message to Kiro." His gaze slowly moved down to the ground slightly behind him as he trailed off in thought. It looks like demand for provisions is going to rise this year, possibly longer than that. Damnit! Fire, what were you thinking? And chances are if we were to send aid to the survivors of their attack we would be breaking the previous agreement. I think I would like to speak with the general who so casually committed genocide.

Artemis continued to wander with no response to her loud yellings. Finally, she came upon Lus, Morr and Kat as the were talking with two she didn't know of. She silently slid into place behind Lus and pretended not to listen into the conversation in case it was private.

Katczinski closed his eyes for a moment and smiled as his little trap was foiled, and then stood up and walked back over towards the group, letting his illusions fall away but still trying to stand out of view. He did not have any response to Illusion's question... Whether or not they should give up was a subject of debate, and he shifted his attention to follow the conversation.
Moriarty looked between Illusion and Menos, and could see that Kat was deep in thought, but he knew what he wanted. This was a bad day. He wanted to get what they had come for and get out as soon as possible. "We need to settle something as soon as we can and get home. I'm tired of this place, and we..." He pointed to Katczinski and himself. "...Know that in our good conscience we can't be friends with people from fire."

Illusion froze as she heard all that Menos told. The catastrophy must have happened after they left. "I don't know what you've heard about fire since you have aligned with them, but last I heard Princess Violette pulled out of the alliance with water since she was siding against the King which water strongly supported during the invasion of earth!" She calmed herself down again. "Provisions my people could greatly use, help to water the few fertile lands we hale would also be excellent. But I'm more concerned about having a nation that I won't have to worry about backstabbing me. I seek and alliance." She turned to Princess Xin. "And you or your brother are the only one who can guarentee one. We've historically been allies, and up to know we still have no directly attacked one another."
She listen to Mor and nodded. "Finish what you can as soon as you can. Come home when you can. I won't hold you here"brothers...
((I'm going to be gone till the 4th or Sunday. So if things get moving again I would like Artemis to work out any negotiations, Mor and Kat can do whatever, and I'll just have Lus listening in the background. If you guys leave just drag her along. You can even have her pass out for some reason or something. Be creative))

Menos shook his head and glanced once at Xin. "I don't know about Kiro's or the princess' judgment, but I can say for sure I would never side with that vampire. He knows nothing but destruction. He is responsible for the annihilation of all forces that met in Omgitt Jord, as well as the death of the land itself there." It's possible Kiro met his end in that madness as well. I suppose for now, no news is good news though.
He sighed and half started to turn in order to depart, "Well, I suppose I shouldn't sour the negotiations with my opinions. I should return to searching for Kiro..." ...if he survived.

Artemis smiled slightly. "Good luck with that, I've spent a good portion of my day looking for him with no response." But she let him do what he pleased. She turned to who she could only guess as the princess and awaited her response.

((alright, I'm sorry if we shouldn't do this, but this area's kinda dead and we have no more business here so...))
Illusion took her cloak off and spread out all three pairs of wings. "We'll exit through the north exit and once we surface we're going back to Palpi Sol, any objections?" If there were any she was known to ignore them when she had her mind set on it. "Kat and Mor, these are for you." She tossed extra magic bubbles at them and then took one herself. "These will last to the surface." And with that she flew towards the exit and passed through too fast for customs to catch her. Once out she swam to the surface and worked on lifting herself into the air.[/size]

Artemis took out her bubble magic and jetted after Lus. It wouldn't last her the whole way, but she could hold her breath for a bit. She hit the water somewhat hard, but focused on getting in the air before her magic ran out. As she began to reach the surface, the magic wore off, soaking her instantly.She held onto her last breath and hoped it'd last her the few yards left.

Before Xin could say anything, Illusion left taking all of the air people back with her. 'Well so much for negotiations.' She sighed and turned walking away towards the exit of the city. She didn't want to be here anymore. 'This war has too much violence, I wish it would all just end and soon.' Silently she walked on past the checkpoints and out the little bubble of air into the ocean.

Menos looked over his shoulder, noticing the air people and Xin were clearing out. "Take care, little sister." He whispered as he looked ahead and began walking back toward the city border.
