I sat there on the roof of the library, waiting for the light to come on so I could knock.
"How long do humans sleep?" I asked myself in irritation.

I walked slowly towards the Library. There have been rumors of a human that killed a vampire last night. Curriosity got the best of me so i headed toward the library knowing that it was the safest place for a human in Calloway. I bared my teeth at the thought of a human, especialy a slayer.

I stared at the vampire that was approaching.
'This is not good,' I told myself before jumping down to stand in front of the girl.
"Who are you?" I asked with only a little bit of curiosity in my voice.

I looked at the vampire before me.
I smiled showing my fangs.
"How rude. You just jump in front of me and asking questions without introducing urself." I shook me head in disapointment.
"But to answer your question I am Elizabeth..." I circled the vampire keeping an eye on her, "I heard a rumor that there is a vampire slayer in Calloway. I only came out of curriosity. And who might you be?"

*I looked at her and lightened my expression*
"Wow i never heard of a human that has made friends with a vampire before," I smiled at her,"I never said i would hurt the human, i was just currious...but i can see im am not welcome here."
Before i left i turned my head to face her, "I'll be seeing you later"
I gave her one last smile took off.

"As for the marks, its for magic. One in every fifty vampires have it. I've mastered it. But magic comes at a price. When I use it, I get hungry." I said with a small smile. "That puts you in danger. It's your choice. But for now, I'm going to leave you alone. I'll be watching you though. Don't kill any one of us or I will personally destroy you. Unless, of course, they strike first. But that's unlikely. You're under my guard. There are those who can use magic, through. Six of us. They won't hesitate to stand against me. If that time comes, you better hope you're sword is able to block too," I said as I walked around the human. "Go to the library. None of the vampires can enter a building that is not their own. The library belongs to a friend of mine, so you're safe there." I said before disappearing in one flash step. It didn't take me long to reach my home. I had picked up a little human blood on the way, and I wasn't hungry anymore. I walked into the large waiting room of my home. I threw my jacket on a chair in the corner and looked around. "Is anyone home?" I asked with a small smirk of amusement. "hungry huh?.. I'm already in danger here..more now than when I first got here..I''m hurt..and that makes me an easier target.. Alright..I'll go the the library, but how can i trust this friend of yours..it seems that your the only one I can trust right now..but I know I shouldn't..but you havent killed me yet so I'll see..if I can really trust you.." *walks over to the library and takes a seat..*

AT HOME
"Grandmother im home"
i walked up the stairs and lead a crying girl into my grandmothers room. I knocked on the door and waited for her aproval to enter.
"Come in" My grandomther's voice was week and shaky.
I entered to room and shoved the girl in the middle of the room, "here i brought some food. come down to the study when your done...i have things to discuss with you."
I left the room and waited in the study, i heard the young girl scream and her bones cracking. After a few minutes my grandmother entered the study, her hair was no longer gray but more silver and shiny, she no longer looked week and frail as she did a few munutes ago.
"What is it granddaughter? Do you have news of Calloway?"
"Yes, i do. It apperears there is a slayer here in our home town."
"Well whats the problem? You've never had problems with slayers before."
"Well this slayer has protectors...vampire protectors. This human may be a problem. im not sure this human is worth the hassel."
Suddenly my grandmother got angry, her eyes going red with rage,"Dont you dare say that! Did you forget it was slayers that killed your parents!? Didnt you vow to kill all slayers to avenge your mother and father?!" she paused to catch her breath calming down a bit, "If i were as strong as i used to be i would help you, but as you can see i am not fit to kill anyone right now. Please do not break your promise and kill this human."
I felt me eyes begin to water at the thought of my dead parents. I turned away embarressed for showing emotions. Without warning i left my home and headed back to the library to watch the human.

Cris sat there..tired..and still injured..
He just sat there thinking of what the other vampires might do..He knew most didn't like him and wanted him dead..

I watched the sky change colors. It turned from black to orange to red and then back to orange, but no sun came out at all. That was a spell held up by our mayor. He made it for vampires specially.
I sighed and looked at the library door.
"Maybe they are useless. He better be able to prove himself, or they'll all kill him..."
