Jean-Claude smiled. He purposefully dropped his voice to something that was anything but G-rated.
"Oui, ma petite, I am aware."

She laughed softly as her eyes didn't break away from his, and she felt as if she was under some kind of spell, in some kind of trance. She pouted slightly, "You did that on purpose...you made your voice more alluring again!"
Now, she was still in his arms, and looking up at him with a smile. "I'm happy that I'll get to spend eternity with you, Jean-Claude....I would ask of nothing more...."

Jean-Claude danced his long, ivory hands along Leah's arms, belly, and torso. He smiled a strangely shy smile that looked out of place on this sex god of a vampire.
"'Till the world's end, Leah; you'll be mine 'till the world's end."

"I would want nothing more." She mumbled softly, with a smile. "We need to do something to keep me awake....I feel like I'm drifting off again..."

Jean-Claude's smile sharpened from shyness to this line of indecent.
"I'm sure we can think of something to keep you up."
He strode across the room, and opened the door, calling out an order in french. A moment later, a second man walked in the room, holding a tray. At top the tray lay two wickedly sharp silver knives, a bottle of Poresco wine, two wine flutes, and a deck of cards.
"Tell me, ma petite, have you ever played runner?"

"N-no....I haven't...." She said, eyeing the knives, almost nervously.
"Jean-Claude..." She said in a somewhat weak, and sort of meek voice, "What are the knives for?"

Jean-Claude barely gave them a glance as he took the tray from the manservant and dismissed him.
"Runner."
He turned back to Leah, and sat on the bed, placing the tray before him.
"Come here, and I'll explain everything to you. We used to play this, with Belle Morte. I've made some slight modifications to it, of course, but the essence is the same."

Leah glanced away from the two shining silver knives to her true loves bright, blue orbs. She nodded, and came to him, fully trusting him.
"Okay...explain to me the game...I am ready..."

"It's a card game, of sorts. Have you ever played Hit the Jack? runner's similar."
Jean-Claude collected the deck of cards, and started to shuffle them with the ease of someone who's played with them for years.
"We each get a half deck, and turn over cards together until someone reaches the appointed 'hit' card, or the runner. If either of us misses hitting the card, we have to dance the finger dance."
His finger's tips danced along the edge of one of the silver knife's hilts; they came back blackened and burnt looking.
"The wine is just if either one of us grows thirsty. Or, for a more enjoyable playing experience."
Jean-Claude's eyes conveyed just what kind of enjoyable playing experience he had in mind.

Leah laughed, and then replied in a low, seductive purr, "what do you mean by...enjoyable?" She asked, slightly smirking, "But...that sounds like fun...I'm ready when you are..."

Jean-Claude chatted "ideally" with Leah as he cut the deck, once, twice, thrice.
"Ma petite, have you ever had someone drink wine off of you?"
Ivory hands dealt out the cards one at a time, like they were a precious commodity. He was clearly in no rush to risk Leah's pretty fingers.

"No....but..." She smiled with a wicked, seductive grin. "I'd like to...."
She smiled, "Let the game begin!" She said ina mock announcer's voice, making them both laugh.
"Okay, now I'm excited...."

Jean-Claude raised his eyebrows at that. His lovely hands gathered up the half deck of cards designated "his."
"Excited. Have a glass of wine then, ma petite; it will clam you down again. I don't want those lovely fingers of your nicked when we could have done something to avoid it. What card will the runner be?"

Leah took a sip of the wine like she was told, and pointed to a card at random. "The ace." she said simply, smiling. She paitiently waited, as he continued to explain the game as they went on.

"Have you ever played hit the Jack, ma petite?"
Jean-Claude's hands started shuffling his personal deck ideally. The faces of the cards were turned towards the bed spread, just like they should be, in any good card game.
