Raigon The Ice Titan

Beloved Prophet

PostPosted: Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:04 pm

Raigon looked at the two of them arguing chuckling to him self he stood up to his 6`9 frame picking up his massive staff.Raigon said in a teasing voice."Eh im up for it if ye two are and what was that about lazy wolf coment Yata." Raigon gave a mock glare and teasing sound in his voice he walked up to the troll and clasped him on the shoulderand said. "If the little lady wants to go to the port we should go its better than letting her go by herself." Raigon winked at yata laughing.

Yata sighed, rolling his eyes and rubbing his temples.
He really was a big Teddy bear.
"It's not exactly Pirates I'm afraid of..." Yata said, turning to the direction of the Port.
"Come on little one, lets go see the sea." Yata said with a small skeptical chuckle.
"Just playing Raigon, just playing... It's good to have a group of Striders anyway..."
Yata said, patting his right shoulder for Lindzi to sit on while they walked to their destination.
There was some worry in Yata's blank eyes, he didn't like the port very much, but he had to agree, the sea was very beautiful this time of year.

Lindzi smiled and clapped her hands in happiness. She was good at getting what she wanted, even if she had to pull the cute card out. She flew up and sat on Yata’s right shoulder, smiling broadly. By no means was Lindzi the size of a fairy, she was simply a very small girl. She could change her size sometimes, to go between about 3’2, and 5’4, which was her maximum and most common height.

“Are you two suggesting that I can’t take care of myself?” Lindzi asked, pretending to be offended, but she was in far to good a mood to contort her face in such a way.

“I’ve extremely tough, don’t ya know. I’ve taken on people twice your size!” She exclaimed, but she left off whether she had won or not. In her slightly younger days, as she was still quite young now, Lindzi had taken on anything that looked at her the wrong way, and had the scars from her mistakes. Now, she was a bit more cautious when she picked fights, but she never hesitated in a fight. If someone started a fight with her, she would not back down unless forced to.

"Well, you certainly are a feisty one." Yata said with a small laugh. His normal smile came back to his face, hiding his unease.
"I've seen you spar... and I have to say I wouldn't want to be your enemy." Yata said with a smile. Still, Yata couldn't help but feel unease creeping through him as the smell of the sea began fill the air.

Raigon chuckled as the tiny girl said she took on things twice our size."Aye we know you can take care of yourself we never hinted other wise its just honor compells us to go with you."Raigon laughed looudly and let his staff rest against his shoulder chuckling.walking by them his trench coat moving with him a slight clanking could be heard as all of his throwing knives and his short swords clanked together.

"Yeah, yeah."

Lindzi laughed, shaking her head. She was glad to have friends like them, it was similar to her friends before she joined the Striders, but not quite. There's a big diffrence between killing and stealing. She took a deep breath of the salt air as it began to mix with the smell of the forest and leaned forward, barly able to contain her excitment.

Shiroka had been walking in the Azure forest for a couple of days now. The white hair woman was still puzzled at what had happened to her a couple of weeks ago. She had met this man, or rather this boy with strange ears and a tail, dark hair and skin...and he had offered her to become part of the Red Guard. The maiden was happy of her good fortune. She was to met him at the Imperial Dojo in a couple of weeks. She had decided to spend her time of 'freedom' to pay her homage to the Queen. Her high spirit collapsed all at once. The Queen.

In the rising Moon, Shiroka's white dress was taking the blue reflect of the Azure Forest and she seemed to be a spirit of the woods. She seemed to be part of the landscape. Arriving at a clearing, she raised her eyes full of tears towards the moon. She feel on her knees, dropped her staff along her legs and joined her hands, closing her eyelids. My Queen... She stayed immobile for some minutes. Then slowly sat cross-legged and took some food in her bag. She did not need a fire, she could control the Holy Flame. Control might be a strong statement, but she could keep herself warm, especially under the moon. The woman just sat and took Blanche, her flute. She started playing to the Moon, to the Forest, to the Queen. Her music was sad and nostalgic, but there was no more tears on her cheeks.

The swan maiden finished her ode to the Moon. Then putting Blanche back at her belt, she joined her hand and decided to pray. She was praying God. The Queen had taught her faith into a Holy being. She did not know what this Holy being was. She just knew that God had given strength to the Queen and to her. The soft wing flow in the trees made a soft mutter accompanying the murmur coming from her lips. She was in peace. This forest was quiet and peaceful. The Moon was strong and baded the woman with its soft light.

She raised and softly danced to the Moon. No one was there to see her, but the Moon and the nature surrounding her. Even if another thinking being had seen her, he or she would have probably thought that a ghost was there and would have passed his or her way quickly. She closed her eyes and let her spins and moves intoxicate herself. She was tasted freedom. She smiled alone in the clearing, embracing the sky with her opened arms. A soft glow seemed to come from her skin as her dance slowed down in ethereal moves, a smile frozen to her lips.

The movements of the maiden swan slowed down to a stop. She sat and sleep came to her, softly, slowly. Soon she was dreaming.

With the lights of the morning, came her awakening. She had to travel far. She had to reach the mountains... She ate and left. As soft as a flower, leaving no trace behind her. Soon the forest only remembered her song and dance...the sound of her footsteps disappearing in the day.

She left for the Temple with a last glance at the Azure Forest.

From his temple, to the Jade village, Hakuma's travels have brought him to the Azure Forest where he continues to search for the land of the Holy Knights, or at least a person who is in the Holy Knights. Hakuma didn't know where he was going, or exactly what he was doing, but he knew that stopping now wouldn't be a good idea in a forest, let alone a place he didn't know. He was alone, confused, and slightly frightened by these facts. Hakuma stared upward at the brightly colored trees and fauna, astounded that there was such agriculture in the world. He has lived his first nineteen years thinking that the monk's temple was the only land in his world, he was obviously far off.

((It seems no one is here either, very well then, they say three's a charm, leaving...))

The swan felt a little better when they left the silence of the graveyard for...the silence of the Azure forest. She had crossed those woods some times ago and she had even danced there. She smiled. Her heart was a little lighter at the thoughts of her sad song to the moon. Everything's gonna be alright... used to whisper the Queen to her worried ear.

They had been walking for a while in the silence of the night. Both of them lost in their thoughts. Looking at the back of the troll, Shiroka wondered if the creature had changed with his change of body. "Yata...?" she asked softly. Her voice was soft but in the silence of the night it echoed like a scream. "Was your body the same...before you changed?" she asked. Her eyes raised to him with the light of a little child asking a very deep philosophical question.

"...you mean, am I different now?" He said quietly. His voice seemed to blend in with the silence, however. It was a plus to being of the Dawn... learn to be heard without breaking silence. "...Yes, very different. The orb you saw, it was made of Ravelite, an ancient and forgotten metal. It is made of the concentrated dreams of people, hardened to the point where it was more durable than steel. It used to form in this world, a long time ago... where dreams were the brightest, and more plentiful. Mortals misused the metaloid, however, so my Master gathered it all and took it back to his realm.
...Technically, I feel the same as my old body, though I have new limits. But my body is greater now, much much greater, if not for only one flaw."
Yata stopped there. It wasn't in his nature to state weakness, so he wouldn't.
"...I look, sound, and feel the same. I almost am the same, if not for a different attire... but my body is much much better now."

Shiroka listened with attention. Her mouth was opened in a 'O' shape of wonder, like a child. "This must be...strange...to have another body." herself was always feeling different when she was a swan. The fear that with the sun she would not find her human form again. Her worse nightmare. She did not want to think about it. She had a question, another for the troll.

"Yata...have you always had...a ...a...third eye....?" her voice was but a whisper. She had been puzzled by the vision she had. Had thought it to be an illusion but the more she was thinking about it, the more she was sure that it had been real. She was all eyes for the taller figure, expecting his answer, so focused on him that she did not noticed the root across the floor and her foot got trap pulling her downward.

"...a little. It's definitely a new experience." He said with a small chuckle. Yata practically stopped in his tracks though, when Shiroka mentioned a third eye. "...Did...did you say, third eye?" He said, confusedly. He noticed her about to trip, but stopped her psychically, not using much effort more than turning his head in her direction. His face was that of a serious one. He moved over to her side, picking her back up gently.
"...Shiroka...tell me, when exactly did you see me with a third eye?" Yata was definitely concerned. "...What did it do, please... don't skip on details."
