"Estel!" Alandis called, sitting next to Aragorn and looking over his wounds. The other Healers backed off, aware that she knew the King.
"It is deep," she state, meaning the arrow as her hands moved, quickly pulling out the needed herbs and cloths out of her bag. Lucky for her new basins filled with water was set next to the bed.
Acting without thinking, already the Healer worked on removing the arrow without hardly causing extreme pain to the wounded.
"I have to get back to battle," he finally spoke, once the arrow was out. In truth he heard Shanra, and even recognized the other but he was more concerned about the fight raging on outside the city walls. And possibly, if he had time to think about it, the man might have broken into a fit at rage at the elf.
"You're bleeding, and to continue fighting in this condition will not be good for you, hir nin," the female elf stated, forcing him back onto the bed with one hand pressing a cloth on his wound to staunch the bleeding.

"I'll fight in his place." Shanra stated simply. "Aragorn, be patient...."
He glanced at Alandis and smiled. "Keep up the good work beautiful!"
Running out, he went to join the battle, and Little Xarik'n made sure the healers didn't run out of people to heal. xx

"Actually, I think I should stay here," Aragorn commented, gasping.
Alandis raised a brow at him quizically, still finding it difficult to stop the blood that flowed uncontrollably. Then it occured to her.
Picking up the arrow, she examined it with her free hand. She held it close to her nose, and then frowned.
"It's poisoned," the King answered to her confusion, already feeling the effects of the toxin.
She bit her lip, then called forth a spare Healer to prepare the kingsfoil into a salve to spread on the wound.

When Huor saw one of the healers he asked"How long will it take for me to be healed?"

A healer stopped long enough to examine Huor, before ushering the wounded elf to a cot.
"A couple of days but you will not be able to fight again," came the response as he called forth more healers to tend to his needs.
"Estel," Alandis called to Aragorn through the darkness that threatened to cover his vision, his mind, "Estel, we're going to have to bleed you out for a little while before letting the herbs work."
He mumbled incoherently, which was good enough for any sign of acknowledgement.
"Just stay with us, hir nin."

One of the healers took Huor's arm in her hands, "This will hurt. Ready?" she asked.

Huor wondered if he would have the change to talk to Aragorn while he was here

The Elven healer did not wait however. Gently, but forcefully, she pulled the arrow from the wound and immediately covered the bleeding spot with a clean cloth.
"Put pressure on this for a moment, please." she said, moving to a table to pick up the needed herbs.

Huor winced as the arrow was pulled but he made no sound.

The healer came back, tieing a poltice to Huor's wound. "You will have to stay within this wing, sir. We do not want you to try and fight being injured. However, the weapon was not poisoned and you are well enough to be on your feet if you so desire."
