"I didn't suppose you'd want to meet Drake as a dragon," Jarren said a bit teasingly, "So I assumed you'd want to go ahead. He could see Drake nearing the dock for touchdown but neglected ot mention this.

"No, I don't." Lash admitted "So should we get going so I don't have to see him land here, I really would not like to see him." Lash said, unknowing the irony of his statement.

The moment Drake touched the ground, Adela was off him. "Glad to be on solid ground once again." She glanced around and spotted Jarren and Lash.

Jarren heard Drake land and kept walking. He turned to Lash and said jokingly, "If I were you I wouldn't turn around just now," He stifled a laugh, "The rest of you head to the Mariner's Jug. And Drake shift back into lizard form.
"Aye, Aye, Jarren," Drake said and downshifted to lizard form dropping the rest of his passengers on the ground as unceremoniously as he did so.

Adela started immediately for the Mariner's Jug, not knowing why she wanted to get inside so badly. She followed Lash, who was far ahead of her.

(such a smart woman.) Lash was already half way there, not keen on meeting Drake again he walked at a brisk pace. He began to think that he might have to face his fear one of these days on this quest. "Oh well, not today, not tommorrow, and probably not the next day, but surely someday soon." He thought out loud slowing his pace a bit. He began to think back on his previous experience with dragons and slowed down to a slow walk and looked up into the sky, he then shuddered and started on his brisk pace again.

Since Lash was right in front of her, in order to look ahead, she was also looking at Lash. What's with that odd pattern? Slowing down and then hurrying... She heard part of what he said to himself, making her wonder even more what he was thinking about.

The woman started toward the tavern as well, moving at her own calm, unhurried pace. She didn't bother to put her hood back up, but her movements were slightly more abrupt then before, betraying her apprehension.

Adela glanced around, trying not to make it obvious. She was much more wary than usual, but she couldn't understand why.

Lash walked into the tavern and took a breif look around. At least it was like in his own dimension he thought. The ground floor was a small bar which served various foods and the upper floors were probably where all the rooms were. Lash sat down at a table and waited for the rest to come in.

Adela joined Lash momentarily, occupying the seat directly across from him. "What's your feeling of this place?"

By now Lash had removed his hood letting his medium length brown hair show touching just above his bright blue eyes which were no longer shadowed by the hood. He looked at Adela "It is a bit different but that goes without saying, I'm not used to this place yet but I'll get used to it. How about you?" He asked, genuinely concerned.

Shira entered the building and walked over to join Lash and Adela. She took a seat and glanced around the tavern, eyes cold. "This place is different.. but not in the ways that would be expected." She murmured.

"And what would expected differences be? It could have been exactly the same." Lash said his eyes shifting their gaze for a second towards Shira then back towards Adela waiting for a reply. "Well?" He said patiently.

Adela looked at Lash for a long moment, wincing sometimes. She could feel what caused him pain in his past, and what makes him sad now. A lone tear dripped down her cheek. She hastily wiped it away. "It's different from what I expected. For some reason, it feels foreboding."
