Davi blushed, and dived under the water to hide it. She kicked gracefully over the the "starting line" and resurface. The lightie wiped away some moisture from her face, and used the other hand to hold onto the wall.
"Well, probably a lot, I'd think. To do this kind of thing. Come on guys, let's go! Zora said she would ref, 'member?"
Davi laughed aloud when she realized what she'd just said.
"Well, duh you'd remember. She just bloody said it, didn't she?"

Zora grinned, "Alright swimmers....get ready!" she stood on the side of the pool to have a good view of the entire race.

Aubry chuckled as she went to the far side of the pool. she crouched by the side, to get a better push. her eyes flashed silver, as they turned from green to an icy blue.
"i bet you $75 that Davi comes in last..." she whispered to Katia.

There was a slight breeze that surrounded Zora that died down quickly as she smirked a bit, "On your mark!"

Davi rolled on to her back, feet against the edge of the pool wall, super man style. She thgouth this might give her the best kick. Davi stuck her tounge out Aubry's way.
"Seventy-five says I come in first!"

Aubry's eyes flashed silver as she stuck out her tongue too.
"your on!" she laughed. she could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins, and if she had a beating heart, it would be fluttering. "but you forget... i don't have to breath like you do..."

the water froze right in front of Aubry's face, and went back into the pool without making a splash.
"i wasn't yelling, i snapped... there's a difference..." she clarified.
