Verina had to pick up Violet, or else she would have been left behind. "I think we should get the others out as well. We can't just leave them here."

Violet was shaking heavily now. She was in a state of shock more or less. "I-I-I never wanted to come here in the first place..." she muttered, being carried through the halls by Verina.

Verina nodded. He made a good point, but then Violet spoke up. "Look what it did to the professor! We would be abandoning them to the same outcome!" she argued, even though this was that last place she wanted to be at the moment.

Verina dropped Violet, who took a second to stand up and catch up to them. "Should we split up?" she asked thinking it would be faster in covering the whole mansion.

Verina looked at her, wide-eyed. "Have you ever watched a horror movie! When we split up, they pick us off one by one!"

Violet looked at him, she had a deep sense that something terrible was going to happen. "But-"

Verina cut her off. "Alright, I'll go and round up as many people as I can, We'll bring them outside, but I think it would be better if Violet took him outside and we worked together." she looked over her shoulder to Violet.

"She's not fit to handle this much stress, and you walking around with an injurded person is like saying to the world 'Come and get me, I'm a free meal' in this place." she folder her arms.

Violet kept quiet, she knew that what Verina had said was true, and it would be better but still...

"Right." Verina said running off after him leaving Violet to get out of the house and watch the professor.

"I can't seem to find any of them." she said to Michael searching just as desperately as him. "does this house have a basement?" she asked worriedly. She had watched many horror flicks on haunted houses to know that the last place anyone should go to would be the basement.

Verina gridded her teeth. "Let's just hope we can get to them before anything else does."

Violet was waiting outside. She had already phoned for an ambulance and was waiting patiently for it to arrive, all at the same time, trying to sooth and comfort the professor. "It'll be alright, I've called for help and the others are getting everyone out of the house." she told him with a calm kind voice.

Violet listened intently. "What, please, what's wrong? What's real? Professor?" she was starting to worry. She had thought about going into the house herself, but she would only get in the way.

Verina looked around and broke off part of a hand railing. Two short pieces. "I know it's kinda make-shift, but will this do?" she asked handing one to him. There was a sudden chill in the air that almost made her jump. She swallowed her doubt and spoke quietly to Michael. "I think we might be too late, because I don't hear anyone in here..." she gulped, chocking down her fears and continued on, right behind him.

Violet did her best to keep him awake, hopefully they would be here soon, and able to take care of him properly, all she could do, however, was to watching him and make sure his condition didn't worsen. "Please, calm down, try to relax, you're in no condition to worry, Verina and Michael will get them out, I promise..."

Verina gasped. She had seen this kind of gore only in the movies, and a bit when she worked an apprenticeship at the morgue downtown, but never saw anything like this. "Oh God..." She repeated right after Michael. After a few moments she shook loose the gore in front of her, from her mind and shook Michael. "I think we better leave, I don't think anyone is alive anymore." She grabbed his arm and started to pull him towards where she thought the stairs were. "It's no use anymore..."

Lucky for Violet a local had appeared on the scene. He started to ask her about why she was there and she told him the whole story while they loaded the poor professor into the back seat.

"'Reckon the place is haunted, er somethin'. That's what the town folk here say, is all." The man said shaking his head. "Dun worry youngin' I'll take him to the hospter and get him some help."

"Thanks a lot!" Violet said happily while she looked at the old Hospital.

"-an Dun't think of going in there ya here?" Spoke the man again. "Weird things happen in there and chances are, they're all dead by nows."

Violet gulped, they had been gone a long time now. "I have to go and get them then!"

"Stay of there, ya here! You'll just get yourself killed!"

Violet shook her head, she started to feel dizzy, and she knew she couldn't just leave them in the building alone. Without a second thought, she grabbed a flash light and ran towards the hospital with the man yelling at her from behind. The ancient door creaked when she forced it open. Everything was so dark, it made her shudder and want to turn around and leave. Violet swallowed her fear and took a step in, then another one, not letting her guard down. "He-hello?" Her terrified voice ran through the old building, echoing back to her. "VERINA! MICHAEL!" she yelled shining the flash light around the. She saw no one.
