Adell looked at the family."fine then they may come. as long as you know the dangers it is of being with an overlord. there are many like me that wish my kingdom harm. but only the demon girl will be called my vassal. the rest of you will be under her now." then the shadows came in the room and took everyone to the castle."this is your new home." he said to them."you may pick your own rooms just stay out of mine. also watch out for other demons, they can be quiet bloodthirsty. also there may be strangers looking to become a hero and who might challenge me. but i dont think they will harm you."

Makka and the others nodded, walking off to find their rooms.
[After about a week later...]
Makka and Akino were sparring off again, Yumi was practicing her own attacks, though she wouldn't tell anyone what kind, and her father, Hiru...
*Boom!*
Yeah, that still.

Adell walked into the training room. he saw everyone working harder than he had seen."Makka come with me. ill be training you now. i dont want you training with these humans anymore. its time to fully awaken your powers." he said as he summoned a huge battle field with high mountains and demons everywhere. he stood next to her."somewhere in all these mountains is a crystal now i want you to try and find it for me. it could even be inside a mountain." he said as he pointed to some demons."these are lvl 70 demons here so they are not push overs. and there is a two day time limit."

"Heh... My first real battle..." Makka said, swallowing hard. She dashed off, throwing a punch at a demon. Unfortunetely, she missed and got countered with a kick, sending her sliding across the ground.
"Ouch..." Yumi muttered.
"Ugh..." Getting up, Makka decided to throw a kick at the demon, but another on interfered, tackling her.
"Don't just focus on one enemy! You gotta keep an eye on your surroundings!" Akino shouted. "And keep focus!"
Makka got up, taking a deep breath. "Okay." Makka charged at the demon again, ducking a tackling demon. She threw another punch at it, this time, faster. Soon, punches and kicks were thrown between the two, and it was impossible for other demons to interfere without getting hit.
Makka jumped back as her arms began to spark with electricity and put her arms out, palms facing the demon. The lightning shot out of her palms and straight through the demon, tearing a hole in it.

Adell sat on the highest mountain watching her."not bad. but this human friend of hers is an odd one." he said laughing ."he stepped down and looked at Makka."need a hand?" he said smiling, he couldnt contain himself he wanted to fight something."watch me fight without my hands and arms or without powers." he said kicking a demon in its face

Makka began to concentrate as her mark begun to spin around again, turning from black to red. sparks began to form around her as her clothing changed. As soon as it was complete, she got into a fighting stance. "Thanks, but I got it from here." She said, dashing at another demon before it realized it had already been hit mutiple times.
As she offed more demons, she could actually feel herself becoming stronger.

"Well... I guess..." Makka said, landing about ten punches on a demon before she kicked it into another demon.Lighning went through them, piercing them both.
Meanwhile, Yumi was practicing on her attacks, which the chains seemed to manipulate in direction.

Adell smirked"you know the mission isnt to kill demons even though they surround you all day and all night. i want you to feel so exhausted that you have no choice but to ask for my help." he laughed." but if you do that you fail . and theres only 1 day and 20 hours left and the clock is ticking."

For a day, she had killed off countless monsters, trying to find the crystal. Where was that thing!?
By now, Yumi's chained weapon was changing directions easier.

while Makka was training Adell walked to Yumi." now then" he pulled up 5 pointy hills with small demons on them."i want you to me more accurate. kill all the demons before they kill you. those are lvl 25 demons so dont worry it will take alot of them to kill you."
then he walked off to fined Makka to see how she was doing. when he found her he said."the only way to find the crystal is to fight till you collapse and then you can feel it." he smirked

By now, Makka was beyond exaustion. She had searched every nook and cranny, left no stone unturned. at this rate, it seemed impossible...
Aniko had already felt the crystal moments ago, but she kept her mouth shut. She wanted to see if she could find it by herself.
'Ugh. I can't give up... not now!' Makka thought to herself harshly, getting back up on her two feet. 'But where is it? Where--!!' Makka paused suddenly as she felt something tugging at her, as if it was telling her to go that way. Feeling it further, it seemed to stop inside the mountain. 'Noooo! How am I even supposed to get it from in there!?'
Demons began to come at Yuki, but it seemed as if she had another trick up her sleeve. Reaching into her pocket, she took out what looked like a kunai.

Adell smirked."Makka you must focus, let you demonic instincts take hold and show me why i chose you to be my vassal." he was glaring at her."come on and hurry up. you only have less than an hour left." he wanted her to pass his first test

As Makka focused, a field of lightning energy surged inside her as it began to form between her hands. Aniko saw what she was trying to do, but can she actually pull it off? She hoped so- this was Makka's last line.
Yumi focused her ki into the kunai and her arm before she threw it at the nearest demon, sending it flying back into more demons. Only Yumi anticipated what would happen next.
The kunai exploded, taking out a wide number of monsters. Yumi smiled as she took out more kunai, loaded them with ki, and threw them at demons, watching them explode.

Adell smiled."yes thats it." then he looked at the human girl."impressive but what would happen if i hightened the lvl of the demons, would you still do as well?" he smirked"but that is for another day. human stop and take a brake. i dont want much blood on my training ground."
he faced Makka "when or if you finish this test you may join your friend and take a brake."
