((XP It is odd, but they have met before this. *shrug* They've known eachother for a while. Heheh.))
Raux didn't know what went on in Teance's mind, but she was happy. Purring quietly, her voice softer than his own, she nuzzled lightly at his flickering ears. She had never thought they would be togather like this when they first met, but now... It just seemed natural that it had happened.

Teance had been used to decyphering different Kimera's personalities on the sea, partially trying to figure who he could trust, mostly trying to figure out who he couldn't. Raux's personlity wasn't entirely clear at first, but he had gotten the first defining qualities, qualities he had not seen in his life over the sea. She had captured his eye at first, but after getting to know her and be with her had made her capture the rest of him.
(Don't really know what I wrote, just wanted to post something to try and get past writer's block... Sorry... I'll edit it if it's no good to post after... *Konks herself on the head with a book and goes to sleep*)

(Aw, It's great. ^^)
Having not ever been too social in her own right, Raux hadn't met many Kimera... But those she had, none of them were like Teance. That over-grown bird, Sieg, he was a good father... But certainly not the right match. She butted heads with him over small issues.
Teance though... He was gentle, and he knew what it was to have a rough life. She wanted someone who understood the ways of the world... And he was it.
With her soft purring, she continued then to gently groom Teance's fur, mostly parts that he couldn't reach well. He smelled of the salt and the sea... It was comforting.

Teance smile and sat still, wanting to do something for Raux. He wasn't sure what to do, so instead he sat quietly enjoying her presence and curling his tails a little more closely around them.

Even though she didn't want to break the gentle silence between them, Raux spoke up after a few moments, the tip of her tail curling lightly around one of Teance's furry ones.
"What do you do if it rains, Teance? Do you stay out here with the pumpkins?"

Teance shrugged lightly and smiled, "Aye, a likkle water never hurt me en the sea, and it's good fer the pummins. Do ye usually seek shelter?" He wondered if he should build a shelter here, after all, it sounded like Raux would like one.

"Sometimes." Raux gave a soft smile. "If the rain is particularly cold or harsh." She could bear it out if need be... And there were plenty of shelters to go to. The ruins of a small shack were nearby, it would not be too hard to fix up. Incase there ever were little ones running about.... Be them hers or ones that they had found, like Kyros.

Teance grinned, "We could work en fixing it ep new!" He flexxed the claws of his metal arm, wanting for it to be of some use even if he wasn't on a ship any more. His good eye focused on the cumulonimbus clouds that were beginning to gather in the sky. "Aye! We'd be jus en tyme fer the rain, too, if we hurry..."
(Of course, the rain clouds only come along at the most opportune moment xd )

Raux glanced to the sky and gave a soft laugh as she got up, careful not to hurt Teance as she did. "We have a few options... My den is nearby, or that little shack just above the sand line of the beach is closer. I have no idea if it is stable or not."
She wondered how she hadn't smelt the oncoming water... More than likely because she was so comfortable with Teance, she hadn't felt the need to be so alert.

Teance paused to think, "We could check it out, an' if it is stable we could stay there... Er if not we could try fer yer den..." He didn't really mind the rain, so as long as she was comfortable he was happy wherever he was. Gathering some of the smaller branches off of a nearby tree he fashioned a sort of umbrella, just in case the shack wasn't stable and they would have to make a dash for Raux's den.

Raux nodded, shwoing him the way to the little shack. She was sure that Teance knew of it... If he combed the beach often enough. A couple of little rat-like kimera had made their way into the place, but Raux paid little attention. It was good enough, and kept out the rain.
Glancing back to Teance, she gave a soft smile. "I don't mind being out in the rain, if you'd rather." It wasnt' coming down too hard anyway.

"Aye," he smiled back, "Though, ye never knew when a simple rain could become a storm." He followed her to the shack, having seen it a few times before, but never really taking much note of it, the tangles of vines at the edge of the forest almost overtaking it. "'Tisn't too bad, could use a likkle patchin' ep and some supports... But it'll held ep if a storm catches us."

Raux gave a small nod as she curled up with Teance in the shack, watching the storm outside as she leaned slightly against him. "Yes, and it is the storms we need shelter from..." Hail really hurt, and lightning often struck near the shores, so they had t obe careful.
"We could try to move it nearer t othe pumpking patch." It would take some work... But she was sure that the plecigators would be willing to help with such a job.

"Aye" Teance nodded, curling his tails around them, "That'd be a good idea." Work would be welcome, 'idle paws can be dangerous paws', he remembered the saying from his shipmates whenever they hit a calm day. Besides, they could add on a little side shack and he'd have a better place for his pummin patch supplies that a damp hole in the ground.

Raux gave a bob of her head, thinking of it. It would be good for many things, to have a shelter... To store the supplies in, or if they happened upon more Plecigator eggs (Or eggs of their own...) they would be protected.
Gently nuzzling his ears again, she listened to the rain outside. "I suppose the pumpkins didn't need to be watered today."
