Though it's fun to see the fan girlz pine and lust after their fav anime characters.
I mean I met this girl and conversed with her about Soujiro Seta 9Rurouni Kenshin) and she freaked me out by saying she knew him that he was her boyfriend.... but he's not alive isn't he a cartoon character?
um but you can believe them to be real if ya want.

I agree a little obssession is alright but too much cross the line between ordinary everyday Otakus (people who like anime/manga) and what I like to call DOFs (Destructive Otaku Fanatics).
Yes it's ok to have a little crush on an anime character. But taking it out of proportion and forgetting what is fantasy and what is reality is out of the question morally wrong.
