Death pulls his scarf down off his mouth and grins, baring his teeth and making a slight chuckle. "Time's up."

The symbol "Omicron" (which is just an "O") appears in red on the ground below Death, about the size of a hand. From the edges of the circle sprouts a glowing red sphere which encircles around Death, forming a shield. The heart shaped weapons rain upon the shield and it's surrounding area. Some deflect off of the shield while others get stuck in it.

Once the hearts of doom cease their "rain of terror" the shield dissipates and the hearts that had stuck in the shield fall on the ground around Death, who is curled up into a ball. He opens from his ball and stands, his scarf and pants changed to black and his katana stuck in the ground. His skin is black with red marking all about his body. "Good morning, Victus Letum!"

"You still think you can win, pathetic!" Living Death/Victus Letum jumps and does a back flip. As he spins in the air, the shuriken in his leg comes loose and shoots at Ino. He lands his flip and begins to run at her.

"Oh where, oh where has the little dog gone? Oh where, oh where could she be?" Victus Letum looks into various trees trying to find Ino. He stops at one and puts his hand up against it. "If you won't come out, I'll just have to find you. One tree at a time." Omicron once again appears, this time around Victus Letum's hand. Instead of encasing him, it encases a section of the tree trunk. He pulls his hand to the side, pulling the shield and it's contents away from the rest of the tree. The tree has no support and topples on the ground. The shield dissipates, dropping a large chunk of tree. "Who ever said a shield can't be a weapon?"

As Victus Letum is getting ready to fell another tree, he hears a branch break behind him. His ears perk up and his eyes open wide. He freezes for a moment as the symbol for "Phi" appears near where the falling branch is. Letum disappears and instantaneously reappears in the air where Phi was just glowing, his back to the branch. He spins around in mid-air and kicks the branch hard, snapping it in half. The branch and Letum drop to the ground, "You can't be too far away." He continues looking into all the nearby trees, hoping to see Ino.

After being hit with the stick, Letum falls to the ground. He quickly gets back up and sees Ino's chakrams appear. "Your not the only one with a fancy weapon." Letum lifts up his right arm and holds it straight out to the side. The symbol for Gamma glows brightly on the back of his hand and he grins devilishly.

But then the symbol stops glowing and disappears. Letum turns his head to look at his hand. Confused he begins to say "What the-" but is interrupted when what appears to be black electricity surges from the back of his hand and up his arm to his shoulder. He screams out in pain and falls to the ground, landing on his left side. The red markings that once coated his arm, like the rest of his body, were gone and his arm was completely black.

Letum's mind begins to race and his thoughts are out of control. What just happened? Why couldn't I summon my scythe? Letum thought to himself. But most importantly, how come I could feel the pain? I haven't been able to feel anything in years, so why just now, and why so painful? Letum cradles his arm, wishing that the pain would leave.

Ryoshii looks on with interest, blending into the background.

Ino just stands there with a blank facial expression. "Huh? I'm confused. Please explain?"

"I meant, How are you tricking me. But i'm curious how i'm tricky.' Ino states with curious intent.
