Kiress is sitting on a bench with his hand on his jaw, "Kazuya?"
Oddly enough there is no anger in Kiress' eyes, only remorse, as if he had actually done something wrong.

Kazuya sits next to him. His hands move towards the other's face. His eyes are sorrowful. "Elliot.. channeler." He says, knowing the boy might be able to heal Kiress. He looks to Kiress' eyes, "Terrible..." His hand finall rests on the other's shoulder.

Kazuya's face fades pale away from its normal golden. "Why? Why?" He wraps an arm over Kiress' shoulders. That was terrible, terrible. How could anyone harm such a kind being.

Hired the day she had enter Arcanus, the girl was one of the Tavern's favorite maids. She was rather young, but due to her remarkable ability of attracting customers, she had been hired.
Lyra carefully made her way to a table in the corner, carrying a platter with three orders on it. The three at the table were chattering amiably before noticing her with a smile.
One of them, a heavily-built man in his twenties lifted the platter up gently and set it on their table. He then handed an empty, and considerably lighter platter back to her with a grin, "Here ya go, little miss, thanks for carrying it over."
She blinked, and then broke out into a cheerful smile, "Nihaha, you're welcome! Enjoy your meals!" With bright eyes, she skipped back to the bar and started speaking with one of the bartenders...

Rain walked in behind Fyera, her eyes taking in the tavern. What an interesting place! So many different types of phycics all in one place. This must be a great place for recieving information.

Wrinkling her nose at the smell of alcohol, the girl covered her nose and mouth with a sleeved arm. She then scanned the area for an empty table... Upon finding one, she turned to Rain, pointed to it, and promptly strided over.
Fyera then pulled out two chairs from the table and sat down in one, gesturing for Rain to sit in the other. Once settled and comfortable, she crossed her legs and waited for a waiter to come take their order...

"This place is simply fascinating! I've never been in such a place before," the starry-eyed country bumpkin of a hyrdomaster exclaimed brightly. Her lavander eyes darted here and there absorbing in the colorful people around her. Rain's white dress and matching hat, definitely alerted people that she was not from the city.

I've got quite a hillbilly here...
The girl smiled, one end stretching farther up than the other. This was going to be interesting... If she was amazed at simple things like this, then her travels must have been rather exciting to her.
"Come on, you country bumpkin, sit yourself down. I think the 'sparklies' in your eyes are scaring people..." She teased with a grin, before noticing a little girl in a maid's outfit...
There was something...odd...about her, and not just the fact that she was wearing a maid's outfit... No, maybe it was just her imagination...

Rain leaned over and sat in her chair, her finger writing something on the table and letters in water appeared on the table for Fyera to see. It was there for a brief moment then vanished, giving her just enough time to read it. Something odd about that one. I sense cold air around her and a shadow. Be careful. It was as if Rain had read her new friends thoughts but she still had her smiled and starry-eyed look as if she was still fascinated by everything. "Country bumpkin? Is that slang?" she asked as if nothing was wrong.

Fyera was only a bit surprised that Rain could sense that air about the child. Although she appeared to be amazed by everything, that didn't mean she was a fledgling to the world... The Hydromaster hid things about herself, more so than others, and so keeping emotions hidden was one of her specialties.
She merely kept up her smile as well, and nodded, "I suppose...it just means you've never been to big cities like this."
Without a glance down, she drew a circle and a triangle in the circle, making letters appear on Rain's end of the table.
You too, appearances can be deceiving, and there's an unwelcome scent in the air.

Rain laughed at Fyera's comment in the water and only smiled, "Yes this has been my first time to the a city this size. I never traveled much when I lived with Grandma Merian. She's a wonderful lady."
The new-comer's presence alerted her gaze, and her lavender eyes noted his limp. "I wonder if that man's alright," she thought out loud.
