As Lady Concetta added Guinness to the concoction, Sira thanked her, and couldn't help but be amazed at how the white foam turned into clear golden liquid. She turned off the heat and gave it some time for the potion to cool down, although Sira was very impatient.
After it seemed to her that enough time had gone by, excited, she added the two remaning ingredients: the Acromantula blood and the remaining pile of rhizome, dropping them into the cauldron at the same time. As a reaction, the potion became opaque, and Sira could no longer see the bottom of the cauldron.

"I hope this is how it's supposed to look like", she thought to herself, measuring 25ml into a vial. After marking it with her name and year, she walked to Lady Concetta's, desk to deliver it, but she tripped on something she couldn't quite point out and almost dropped the glass vial. Thankfully though, she got her balance back before falling to her knees, so it didn't hit the floor nor smash to pieces, and Sira quickly regained her composure and hoped no one had noticed that near-disaster, as she placed the fruits of her labor in the vial holder.

As Ascella waited for her pot to boil, she finished chopping her peppermint. She took out her grater, and her ginger rhizome. She grated a large pile, measured it to exactly seventeen grams, divided the pile into two, and placed them to the side.
She saw that her pot had reached a rolling boil, so she added her peppermint, and stirred it together with a stirring charm. She smelled the air around her cauldron, taking a gentle whiff of the peppermint filled air around it. She took one of the piles of ginger, and added it carefully to the pot, making sure not to splash it. She noted the change in color, so she removed the heat. Ascella took out the spider eyes, and measured out carefully thirty-five grams. She sprinkled them over the contents of the cauldron once the mixture had stopped boiling. She gazed wonderfully at the spider eyes popping in her potion. She sighed as she wondrous popping slowed down. She took her cungranexactator and sliced it into rough cubes. Ascella measured out one hundred grams as she wiped her eyes from the fumes. She placed them in, and relight the flame. Cell took a her wooden spoon and stirred the potion, making sure that none of it was attached to the walls of the cauldron. She sighed, as she waited for the guiness.

Lady Concetta was quickly at the potion that next needed the beer, she slowly pored the frothy liquid in and watched the color change. She was beginning to think this potion ended up being too easy, everyone was doing a really good job.

Ascella smiled at the teacher when she put the guiness in her potion. She watched the potion turn clear, she could see the black of the cauldron beneath her potion. She sat there, blowing bubble gum bubbles as she waited for her potion to cool off. She ran her fingers in circles, watching the other students. Her bubble gum popped, leaving a bit of gum around her mouth. She licked it off, and resumed chewing. She watched the potion cool. Ascella was going to wait until she could touch the cauldron without it burning her hand. She took her hand bravely and touched her cauldron. Her hand felt warm, but she could pick it up with ease. She used a ladle and scooped the contents in the cauldron into a vial. She took out a small sticker, wrote her name on it with a back quill and her grade. She stick it to the bottle, and put a small cork on the top, making sure it wouldn't spill.
She set it down on the vial stand on Lady C's desk. She was going to ask a question.
"What shall we do with the rest of our potion Lady Concetta?"" She asked rather quietly, but there wasn't a shy tone in her voice.

The moment Kani's potion transformed into a lovely, transparent hue of gold she reached for the heat switch and flicked it off. The steam coming from the pot was slowly dissapating.

Idly waiting for the temperature to take on a lesser warm one, Kani glanced from the corner of her eye to see that Lady Concetta was busily moving the other students' potions along. Then she slid her gaze back to her task at hand.

Placing the palm of her right hand a safe distance above her cauldron, the heat was still strong enough to make her quickly pull her arm back to her side.

Sighing, she chewed the inside of her lip and glared at the potion. As if her stare would hurry it along.

Entering the Potion's room, Kale curled his lip into a slight snarl. The other students were quite far along on their tasks, and here he was, late merely because he had to rush a student to the hospital wing.

He couldn't believe Peeves was still roaming the halls, causing mischeif. Normally Kale got a good chuckle in when the victims of the ghost's pranks faced embarrasement. But not today, no. Instead, the moment the poor second year was covered with a thick orange paste, Kale was asked to lead her to the hosptal wing.

Now his sharp gaze scourched the desk's for an open spot.

Kani's head shot up at the sound of the door creaking open. Taking in the sight of an agitated looking Slytherin, Kani wasn't sure if she wanted to greet her friend today. Kale was always fun to spend time with, but he did have his moods. And this seemed to be one of his darker ones. But upon seeing his brooding eyes search for an open desk, Kani scooted her many knick knacks and made room for him. A silent gesture on her part- that he could easily refuse if his mood was one where he wanted to be alone.

By the time she was done clearing half the table, Kani observed that the potion was barely giving off any more puffs of heat. Again, she placed a palm above the cauldron to test the temperature. A grin spread across her features and reached up to send sparkles in her eyes when warmth spread on her skin. Finally, she could proceed with finishing up the potion. This was always one of her most exciting moments during the process, because it meant she'd finally be able to see how accurate she constructed the given assignment.

Kale halted in his fury. Seeing the kindness in Kanita's gesture, the scowl dropped slowly from his lips. He moved swiftly to the offered seat and was about to give his thanks to her when he caught the spark in her eyes. It was obvious how hypnotized she was at the moment by the art of potion making, so instead he took sight of the directions.

Instead of wasting time to measure out each ingredience, the time he would need to catch up with the rest of class, Kale conjured them.

"Accio 4 grams of peppermint, Accio cungranexactator, Accio vial of Acromantula blood," at this one, Kale opened his palm and easily caught the precious ingredient before carefully setting it down. Then he conintued to use the handy 'Accio' spell until he had the 35grams of spider eyes, 15grams of ginger rhizome, and a cauldron placed before him with the peppermint, cungranexactator and vial of blood.

His mouth moved to form the words, "Accio water." and he firmly held the cauldron as the liquid flowed into the pot and settled easily within it.

Knowing to never spell a knife towards him when the class was full of students. Kale turned to Kani and eyed the one she already had. He slipped his fingers around the handle and lifted it with ease before he tapped her shoulder with his other hand, to get her attention.

"Mind if I use this?"

Nimbly, Kani picked up the glass-full of Acromantula blood. She held it up to eye level and admired the sheer color it possessed. The blood looked nothing like she'd have imagined it. Instead of being utterly disgusted by it, the elegant/swirling color made her want to preserve it. Not throw it into the Cuspis Forix Potion.

Sighing, Kani scooped up the beaker, which held last of her ginger. She stood before her almost finished creation and tipped both vails, symmutaniously, in.

Kani sucked in her breath and stared intensely into the pot, not wanting to miss the split seconds in which the color would solidify and take on a new look.

Her brows crinkled in confusion when her attention was pulled to the light tapping on her right shoulder. With a jerk that crinked her neck, Kani winced and faced Kale.

Having a slightly dazed look still lingering on her face from adverting her attention too fast, Kani tilted her head to the side. She missed what he had asked, but noticed the knife he held. She looked down to see the her own was missing and put the pieces together. Nodding quickly, Kani murmured ,"Yes, yes. Go ahead." And turned back to her potion in slight annoyance.

The thing that he should have known, from being in all her Potion classes throughout their Hogwart's years, was that during the climax of potion making...Kani hated, absolutelly dispised, being distracted.

The liquid sleeping deep within her cauldron was a bold. It had the luminecent appearance that she saw on most fish scales back at her summer home in Ohau. The sleek, shiny gloss that only freshly caught fish possessed. But instead of being at awe, Kani drew in a vicious breath and turned hauntily towards Kale.

"Y-you!" She could barely growl the word.

THe last step of the potion's transformation, she had missed. And she was furious. In the back of her mind Kani knew it wasn't Kale's fault...but at the moment she didn't care.

Lady Concetta made her way back to Ascella as soon as she could, "I think you should heat it and drop your bubble gum in it and see what happens." It was very hard to tell if she was serious or not, because she was, in fact, being serious.

Once Kani showed with a nod that Kale could borrow her cutting knife, Kale chopped up the peppermint, cungranexactator and used the blade of the knife to grate the ginger rhizome. As he finished each one as directed, he placed them in separate piles. Then, withdrawling his wand, Kale pronounced the charms to purify and distill the water, erkolcstele and inflixi putus.

He peered into the water but instantly felt foolish. Of course he wouldn't see the difference, he scoffed at himself, the change was microscopic. So to cover the blunder, Kale performed the Scourgify charm on the knife and placed the dangerous tool back in it's original location.

Just as he set the cauldron on the stove top and turned the heat on high, Kani's angry voice demanded his attention. He tossed the peppermint leaves in bit by bit before turning to face her.

"I what?" Kale asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"You. Made me. Miss my potions transformation..." She began accusingly, eyes still sparking. But by the time the last of the syllables were uttered, Kani realised how childish she was acting. So she hurriedly turned her back to Kale.

"Never mind. Just pay attention to your own potion. I think it's scent is strong enough now for you to continue." Her voice was dry and her words were tasteless. It was unbelievable how sore she was at not having witnessed the magic that coursed through her potion during it's climactic change.

Bending down to level herself with the table, Kani accurately poured 25ml into a bottle and secured it with a rubbery cork. She then reached within her bag to get her quill, ink, and parchment. With fast, artful handwritting, Kanita Doyle of Sixth Year Ravenclaw, was scrawled upon the parchment and attatched to The Cuspis Forix Potion. Which was then placed upon the Professor's vail holder.

Kale sniffed the air and realised that Kani was indeed right. Forgetting about the upset girl, momentarily, Kale returned to his pot. The grated ginger was then added. In a few moments time, the potion's physical appearance altered and Kale took the heat away.

The bubbling still came strong, so Kale took the time to observe Kani as she huffed. He wasn't about to apologize, but he did want to make it up to her. After all, Kani knew how to hold a grudge and he wasn't about to be on the recieving end of that could shoulder.

So Kale waited for Kani to release her frustrations, on the paper she scribbled ruthelessly on, before he did anything.

THe bubbles came few and slowly now, so Kale shimmered the spider eyes across the surface of the potion. The effect was immediate, causing the bubbling to slowly resume as the eyes popped and burst within the cauldron.

When the last of the bubbles diminished, Kale dropped the cungranexactator into the mixture. The substance sank heavily to the bottum of the pot. But it gradually deteriorated until it was light enough to graze the surface once again.

With the fine coat of cungranexactator now covering the top layer of the potion, Kale started the heat.

Ascella smirked as she got back to her potion. She used her wand to conjure up a flame under the cauldron. She saw as it reached a rolling boil, noticing Kale, she smiled at him, well, it was more of a smirk. She removed her gum, that still had her flavoring into the cauldron. She watched as the bubbling continued, faster, and larger. She muttered something loudly under breath in French as she ducked under the desk. There was a small explosion, most likely to from the reaction of the gum Arabic with the spider eyes and the acromantula blood. She was covered, in the gold shimmery liquid. She stood up, muttered some more words in French and tried to wipe herself off, not wanting to find her wand through all the goop.
