Isabella made her way donw the hall, she seemed in a trance as her fingernails lightly ran along the wall and she stared at her feet. The only noticable to her was the sound of her heals to the tile floor. A mix of emotions ran through her as she replaid what happened in the library, in her mind over and over again.That BASTERD! That was my kiss, Iwas supose to choose who got it, and you jsut stole it like it was nothing. Tears built up in her eyes as anger, frustration and sadness took over. Yet, these emotions were used to surpress the fact she like the kiss, the taist of his lips, the feel of his hands running though her hair.
A hand on her shoulder brought Isabella back to reality. SHe looked up and saw her father staning there with a gentle smile, the smile that he alway had. "Is something the matter Dear?" he asked whiping the tears from her soft, rosy cheeks. "No Sir, I was just...thinking.". Her father eyes her suspitiously. He knew what was on her mind had to be pretty siriouse if it made her cry like that.

"Darling where did our son get to", Kale's mother looked around for her son. Her arm locked withing her husbands. Kale's father just sighed and scanned the area. "Knowing him dear, he's in his room snoozing or getting himself into trouble with someone he shouldn't be". Both his parent's kept looking for Kale avidly, but to no avail.
Kale's eye lids rose slowly and sleepily, he sat up slowly hunching over. Rubbing the sleep that pledged his enchanting eyes. Kale stood quickly and stretched, his tattered and torn shirt raising slightly. He looked around until his eye's fell upon the outside world. Kale walked over to the window fluidly, leaning against the window. He glared icily at the sunset, Kale hated to speak when he had just risen from a nap. Kale kept glaring until he got bored, he quickly took his leave out of his room and down the hallways searching for something to do.

Soon after she had spoken with her father Isabella looked for something to keep her thoughts away from Kale. So she started playing tag with some of the servants children who were unable to stay home and take care of themselves. "Hay, get back here." she said with laughter in her voice as she chased a small boy with red hair. She had been declaired it and he had been the first to catch her eye.

Kale herad Isabella's voice echo in the empty hallways, the only thoguth that ran through is mind was to go do something stupid and dangerous. Kale pept his hands in his pockets, without realizing it he had passed the hallway that the princess was playing in. Kale juts snorted and kept walking. He hoped that the princess would begin to follow after him but he doubted she would.

Isabella made her way down the hall, when she saw Kale. He seemed to be acting "inosent" and out of trouble. Something inside her got suspitious, so she foregot her game and followed him in the shadows. Isabella stepped carfully to keep her heals from making any noice.

Kale looked out of the corner of his eye and 'pretended' not to notice the princess following him. Kale kept at his current speed, until he walked to the door of the castle and stepped out of it. His head turned from side to side searching for the stables. His ears picked up the faint whinnies, he smiled softly and walked in the general direction. Kale wanted to see what what kinda trouble he could stir up with the villagers. Maybe a friendly race with the princess would be on the agenda too.

Isabella made sure to keep a fair enough didstance away so he wouldn't see her. Once outside she hid behind trees shice she was skinny enough for them to hide her. Her curiosity rose when she noticed he was heading toward the stables.

"Boys give me your finest horse"Kale's tone was demanding. A large black horse was led out of one of the stalls. A smiled danced over Kale's fair lips. Perfect, Kale jumped onto the horse quickly, taking off, leaving a trails of dust behind him.

Isabella didn't even bother making them saddle her horse. She pulled a solid white clidsdail out of one of the stalls and jumped on his back. The stable hands watched her in shock when she didn't ride him sidesaddle, as she road out of the barn. She galnced down and saw the hoof prints of Kale and his hore. "C'mon Midnight." she said making a clicking sound with her tongue and slghtly patting his neck. Isabella clung onto his main as the horse sped up. For once she was glad she had chosen one with such big hooves, since he was quiet and powerfull.

Kale turned his head and glimpse a white horse in the distance, "Let's see if you can catch up with me princess", Kale smiled wickedly. Kale dug his heels into the horses sides lightly. The horse sped up, the wind that was being created made Kale's silky black hair dance behind him. Kale wanted to see if the princess could catch up.

Isabella cought the glimps of a balck flash. "Found ya....Ha!" she crouched closer to the horse as it picked up a good amout of speed and power, moving twice as fare as a raguler sized horse. Since she was so close to the horse it was able to use more power with little efort, since she didn't weigh much and since she wasn't being a wind blocker.

"Quick you royal pain in the a**, you might lose me" Kale chuckled and turned sharply. The wind beat across his angelic face, Kale began to have a bad feeling about this part of the woods. But he ignored it and kept ridding.

Isabella's heals flanked the horses sides, causing her to cling more onto the main as a jult of speed nearly nocked her off. The further they went the close the trees got, making it hard for the horse to manuver around. Yet, Isabells was able to get close enought to where Kale was in her full vew.

Out of no where an arrow zipped through the air towards Kale, the arrow shot through his shoulder and stuck there. Kale winched in pain, he turned his head to screamed to the princess but a other arrow shot through the trees. What ever was shooting these arrows, they were good shots. Kale guested that they were just toying with there prey...for now anyway.

Isabella's horses reared up when the sharp sound of the arrows reached it's ears. She could see something sticking out of Kale's arm, worry filled every vain in her body as if it were her blood. She raod up closer, clinging to the horses main. "Kale, are you alright?" she asked as on other arrow shot past them.
