"Yay," Amara exclaimed with a slight giggle and held tightly onto Marcus as she got her ride and rest her head on his shoulder as she felt slightly drowsy and tried to keep her eyes open, but her heavy eyelids couldn't keep showing her blood-red eyes to the world forever and she gently lulled into sleep.

Awww... How adorable... Krad jibed, his voice annoyingly cheerful and sarcastic. Marcus sighed as he got a better grip on Amara so she wouldn't fall off his back.
Just what have I gotten myself into? he thought, glancing at Amara and then looking forward.
You know, she reminds me of someone... Krad muttered as an after thought, but Marcus simply ignored it. He entered the forest and left the sea behind him, totally unaware of the other being traveling in the very same woods...

User Image((Okay you all officially type way too damn much... I am busy for like a day and you have crossed the bloody ocean. My post is going to back track a bit since everyone jumped ahead of me.))

Raid tracked the two strange beings, the rabbit lamina with an odd smell and the man the guards had chased after. He cloaked himself in the feel and appearance of nothing more then a light breeze passing over the rooftops. Raid frowned when he caught sight of what the rabbit lamina did but continued to track them along their route. As they reached ocean he watched them dart out across the ocean and sighed.

Concentrating he released his suppression of his dragonic side, his wings bursting from his back and his eyes growing slitted and blood red. His fangs elongated and claws grew sharper and deadlier as well as small red silver scales forming under his fur.

User ImageReleasing his wind cloak, he lifts off from the rooftop and darts off after them. The moment he touches the arm he incants a wind spell of his own creation, pushing wind into his wings and shooting him off after the two. He cloaks himself in the look and feel of the wind after the spell is cast and seems nothing more once more then a strong and powerful gust of wind passing by.

After arriving at the destination he landed and suppressed his dragonic side one more, appearing nothing more then a fox lamina once more. He then sniffs the air, still cloaked in his wind cloak, and heads after the two, tracking them.

Sprawling gracefully among the branches of the oak tree, the tiger lamina watched the man, Liryn, with a lack of curiosity, the thin, almost see-through red cloth of of her clothes dangling down and swaying softly in the breeze.

Adrin rubbed the sleepiness away from her eyes as she checked the sky for Ash's white belly. She knew Ash was capable of protecting herself, but she always wanted to make sure. Ash was her responsibility, and considering the consequences of what she had done, she thought it best to keep Ash as safe as possible.

Adrin remembered her bed back at the Academy and groaned softly. She missed her bed. All the delicious food served there. Adrin shook her head. No, don't miss it, she scolded herself. You ran away for a reason and you're not going to blow it now because you miss comfort.

Ash sailed gracefully over Adrin's head. Hi Adrin!!! I'm up here!! You don't need to worry no more!! I found some water a couple miles away! I'm thirsty, can we go?!

Adrin rolled her eyes. "Yes Ash, we're going to get some water, and would you stay closer to the ground? We have no idea what's out there and I don't want any trouble. What if there was a Dragon Knight out here? They'd take us back in an instant!"

Ash gave her a devilish grin. We could fight them.
Adrin was appalled. "We can't fight against professionally trained Dragon Knights, are you crazy?! No, stay low and keep an eye out." Then Adrin lost sight of Ash as she went under the canopy of the trees.

Dex had been extracting oils from the exotic plants of the forest when he heard the heavy belabored footsteps. Not wanting to have to trouble himself with another ambush, he stopped what he was doing and darted behind a nearby bush to peer out at the newcomers. Thorn was wandering around somewhere nearby, but him and Dex thought so much alike since they'd been bonded that Dex was confident Thorn would play along and not give their presence away. As he looked, he saw a man, with a painfully obvious dark aura about him, and an innocent looking rabbit lamina on his back. Although not nearly as obvious, she too had an evilness about her. Just what were they doing in a place like the Heartwood? He hoped he would soon find out, and so he waited and watched...

((@shannon-wow, you're really coming down with something there, arncha? xd ))

As she was asleep, her ears started to twitch a little at the new, more lighter presence in the area and started to slowly flutter her eyes open. Amara yawned silently and very slightly nudged Marcus to let him know that she's awake.

"Oh good, you're awake," Marcus greeted, then he dropped her on the ground, "Now, you can walk all by yourself again." He gave her a totally innocent smile that, while appearing harmless, had a devilish feel underneath...
Ooh, you're so heartless, Marcus, Krad chuckled, I wish you were always like this.
Not gonna happen, Marcus snapped back.

hard with her foot to make him fall down and waited for him to get up as she smiled evily and stepped in front of him.

Marcus got to his feet after spitting out some dirt that had landed in his mouth.
"Ok, I probably desearved that..." he admitted, "But that was still rude." He dusted himself off once he got to his feet, frowning at her.

Amara just slightly rolled her eyes. Are you so delusional that you can't sense another person in the area? "Well, let's get going," she commanded as she started to walk forward slowly. Her eyes kept darting back and forth, trying to locate the source of the other being in the forest.

liryn continued to look around for the person in the forest. he climed the oak tree and search around. he drew the bow and notched an arrow and survveyed the scene. the oak tree was the only one there. and seeing as yew trees are poisonous, liryn doubted the probability that anyone was in them. he decided the best thing to do is start impaling arows into all the bushes and started raining arrows upon them, but whoever it was was very smart and nothing was hit. liryn, kept his bow drawn, and edged closer to the blanket taht concealed the sword and map

Mih'nai, moving down to a lower branch only to lay cat-like on it, watched Liryn still. She frowned. This male was loud...

An odd looking snake slithered into the path of the two travellers. It was a bright blue with pearly white eyes, all stark against the natural mottled green of the forest floor. Dex had realized who this was. It was the Kradsoulhoulder. And while he had no particular vehemence towards him or his evil minion lamia, those two wandering through the Heartwood could not pass without suspicion. And so he had ordered Thorn to halt their progress. Thorned looked up at the two, flicking his tongue out with mild interest. He hissed lightly, an electic and crackling sort of sound, acompanied by tiny sparks that spilled from his mouth. Dex stepped out from behind the bushes. "You'll forgive my distrust, but you can't really say you haven't earned it. And it may not be my business, but seeing as I find myself a temporary guardian as it were of this place, you wouldn't mind me inquiring as to your business here, would you?" He asked in a way that was polite and yet insistent. It was not asked in a way that could not easily be left unanswered.
