He closed his eyes. "I can garden just fine. Heck, I can even look at the stars. But, I just can't think about her, or else it's all I can think about!" He placed his hands on his head. "Now, leave me alone!"

He shut up and went silent, knowing that all attempts to shut it up were useless. Soon, he fell into deep sleep, where he was plagued by nightmares.
((Class soon, gotta go for a few hours.))

He didn't know how long he was out, but small hands shook him out of his nightmares and he opened his eyes to see Cream looking at him with tears slipping down her face. When he woke up, she hugged him tightly, crying. "Hey...why the tears?"
"Tails..." She looked up at him. "You've been asleep a whole week! And some people are saying you're a monster! We've been so worried, and we thought you'd never wake up! Sonic came by to check on you, but you didn't wake up. He told us about your freaking out..." She closed her eyes. "Oh, Tails..."
He didn't respond; he was in too much shock. A whole week...and he hadn't been able to wake up? Why? What had happened? He looked down at his body; it seemed normal, but he could tell that the creature hadn't left him alone.
Would it ever?

'What did you do?' He asked, closing his eyes slowly. Cream panicked, afraid that he'd fallen asleep again, but he opened them again and gave a faint smile. "I'm fine, Cream. Really. I was just...really tired, I guess."
She nodded. "You have gone without sleep for a long time. I was actually relieved, until you were asleep for a full day. Then we all tried to wake you, but..." She closed her eyes. "You didn't. Then we got so worried..."
"Sorry." He said, tilting his head slightly. "Didn't mean to worry you."
