Lomedin iLuVhP I saw I Am Legend the day before yesterday. Pretty cool movie, I thought. Had some incredible scenes, and it's an interesting idea, all of it, really. Especially the ending sure made it a legend. ^_^ Ehm, the ideas are actually taken from the 1954 scifi novel by Richard Matheson (is it only me or originality is an endangered species?). Before the 2007 version, we had The Omega Man in 1971 and The Last Man on Earth in 1964. Pity that w. smith is starring... I'd be interested otherwise xd Pretty old movies, then xD Never said it was unique >.> xD What's wrong with Will Smith? He isn't /that/ awful.

Lomedin Ow, "War of the Worlds", both the original and the new one... I was pretty impressed with Spielberg's version... I thought it was gonna be crap surprised I haven't seen all of the original version but I have the Spielberg's version and I think it was great.

Lomedin I also want to watch Solaris (the original, of course... I try to keep myself away from clooney...), did any of u see it? I did. It was good imo. Just confusing in a way but I guess it was supposed to be confusing.

SpaceKitteh Haven't heard the OST, but 12 Monkeys was great. Also, I liked The Fifth Element. The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy was good, but the books are better. There were some other good ones, but I can't remember. sweatdrop Oh, I LOVE The Fifth Element. It was hilarious.

Lomedin I did not read the books, although I still want to... But I would understand if the film put people off xp Dark City, not a bad film... I like Alex Proyas' The Crow as well, although I'm not interested in I, Robot at all... btw, this guy does not seem to have much talent for creating new stories o.O Not sure I've seen all of The Crow but it had a good atmosphere.
I've seen I, Robot and I actually liked it.

Professor SmartGuy 12 Monkeys was pretty sweet. I'd have to say, though, that my favorite sci-fi movies are The Fifth Element, Blade Runner, and The Matrix. Is anyone a fan of Johnny Mnemnonic? That movie was wicked BA, as well. I guess Blade Runner is one of the movies you must be in the right mood for enjoying them. I was a little disappointed by the movie when I watched it. redface
I loved The Matrix and I really liked the second movie too. I watched the third one just to watch all the trilogy.
Yes, I remember seeing Johnny Mnemonic but it was a long time ago, so I don't remember that well what my reaction to it was.

Same here, I think some roles fit him spendidly. I don't get frustrated whilst I watch him, like I get with some people.

Oh, I think Adam Sandler could be good if he wanted to choose more serious roles. Just like Jim Carrey can act but he loves crazy comedies more.

And what's funny is that from an actor's POV do a good comedy is more difficult than do a good drama. But drama is just appreciated more.
But the fact is that all great comedians are also great drama actors but not all great drama actors can do a great comedy.
