Caleb was an evil preacher who wanted to help The First destroy the potentials. He was given God-like strength when the First and Caleb merged together. But to answer your question, no he wasn't a hell god. =D

I have a question about the scoobies.
When did they start calling themselves the scoobies? It was something that I missed until I heard people on fansites and the like using the term. Since then I have heard it in a few episodes but wondered when it began and if there was a reason behind it?

Ms.Tadakichi This is the place where we'll all work together to answer questions you have about Buffy! Or Angel. Or anything Joss Whedon. I noticed people were making threads for questions that can be answered in one or two posts. So i thought, "Why not save some space and make a big information thread?" =D As you post your questions about anything (an actor's name, who wrote an episode, confusion about a scene, etc) i'll list them down below so everyone can help out with the answering 3nodding Sounds like fun, no? Questions to be answered:+->How did Cecily become a vengeance demon? +->Would the BtVS movie from 1992 or 1993 be considered canon or just a starting idea for the show? Or would the movie be a different sort of canon (ei. the movie and the show are separate universes)? +->In Angel season 3, Loyalty, at the very end of the episode where there's an earthquake and fire and blood Angel says "Thought we were trapped in there..." and then deos he say "At least i would have had something to snack on."? As in...Connor?! Or am i not hearing it right? (From GetFaith) It's never revealed how Cecily became a vengeance demon. The BTVS movie from 1992 (I think it) wasn't exactly a motivation for starting the show. Whedon had the idea and wanted to do the movie, but it wasn't being made to his liking so he stopped working on it. And then he started writing the show and fox picked it up. Yes, you heard it right. in Season three he did say he'd have something to snack on. but I think it was more of a joke that Wes just took pretty serious

I haven't seen the Angel series and it's been really bugging me. Angel is a vampire. He tells buffy he can't have children. So then, how the hell did connor come about. It doesn't make sense.
Also, how can connor go from being a baby to someone much older? If angel is anything like btvs then connor could only be a maximum of 5 years old. Could someone just explain the whole connor thing to me, please

Just something I've been thinking about... Dawn was the key, therefore not human (well, not 100%) so do you think Spikes chip could have told the difference? Do you think he could have hurt her all this time if he wanted but his love for Buffy never made him even question it... something to think about.

what i wonder is: if dawn used to be an inanimate object, a key, she could have been used by Glory, at any point while she was still that object, to open the portal to get back into her dimension. Anyways, they of course made a big deal about how dawn's blood was the key to opening and closing the portal. but if she had been a regular key (as far as portal keys go) when glory found her, there would have been no blood to use? is there even an explanation for this? i don't think there is, but i'm sure joss could have made up something to make it make sense if they had mentioned this on the show.

Could someone just explain the whole connor thing to me, please conner went from being a baby 2 older wen this dude takes him 2 a hell demensions and one year here is like 1000 there so when he gets back it had only been like a month to angel but a whole lifetime to conner
