WARM UP SHOWS UPDATE!!!
Ok so as Lewis said, we are doing some really small (and potentially retarded) warm up shows next week. Tickets will be available on the day from the venue. The size of these venues is on average about 500 people, so its gonna be very interesting.
I just wanted to let you peeps know who is supporting. We have all Welsh supports, cause we know what its like trying to get out there and now we are in a postiton to help, we thought we would.
Monday at the Muni we have DOPAMINE. Tuesday at the Welsh Club we have COVERGIRL Wednesday at the Rec we have KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES and Thursday at Newport Centre we have none other than welsh rap rock crew THE BLACKOUT!!!
DOPAMINE, COVERGIRL, KIDS NEAR GLASS WATER HOUSES, THE BLACKOUT
This is gonna be a mental week, so you would be a fool to miss it. The next time you see us we will look like ants (eithe cause we are wearing ant costumes or cause we are on a stage so big even god has problems getting a good view).
Oh and did i mention we will have exclusive merch that you can only get at these shows, never to be produced again........
Do the damn thing.....

THANK YOU
To everyone who came out to all the shows the past week and weekend. It was amazing to be back playing again, and it was made even better by you guys. Seeing over 20,000 of you go off, have fun and sing along to the old and new songs was amazing. We cant wait to really kick things off...
The video is done. Didnt go with the trilogy cause we arent that rich yet. Looks cool though. Should be on your screens asap. Single goes to radio next week. Gets released 19th of June. Album on 27th June.
I've said it before and i'll say it again. Don't judge the record on the first single, cause every single will be different and the album has a cool mixed vibe, of 12 killer songs. I love all of them, and i think Rooftops is an awesome way to come back, but its not all gonna be like that. Some are harder, some are dancier........Just to prepare you.....

RADIO!!!
Ok so Rooftops is now being played pretty much all over, but we need your help to get people to really take notice. If you have time, or wanna help, just call up your local radio station and request Rooftops. If they arent playing it, then ask them why not. This is the first mission of Liberation Transmission, there will be more, and we have faith that you guys will come through for us....
Spread the word, tell your friends, bug the s**t out of these stations......XXXX
Also, check out MTV2 for the new vid, it premiered today......coooliio...X

OLD ARTWORK FOR SALE!!Ok, so one of my friends who i used to be in college with is selling some original artwork that appeared on the FSOP disc. I was in college with her and she specialised in illustration. Nowadays Jamie does all the illustration, but back then he was still in college elsewhere. She had a bunch of stuff, and i asked her if i could use some of it for the cd, she said yeah no worries, and so i did. She has a load of really cool work, but at this point she is selling these. Follow the link and everything is self explanatory. http://cgi.ebay.com/Lostprophets-original-artwork_W0QQitemZ7621166463QQcategoryZ2357QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem or http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=lostprophets+artwork&category0=Anyway, shes a cool girl so DO NOT waste her time. Only bid if you are really interested in owning original s**t. Good luck. X

EMO????
So, i've noticed a lot of silly comments recently throwing inane accusations around, and accusing us of somehow 'selling out' and 'changing'. The basis for this unrest seems to be the idea that we have somehow turned 'emo'. Now ignoring for a second that most of these kids dont even know what the real term 'emo' means, and even then it doesn't really exsist anyway, what makes them think that we have changed? They have only heard one song, and by the looks of it, it's not that they have a problem with. Bizarely enough, the problem seems to be our clothes and our hair. Now, for one, this blows my mind. The fact that these people are so ******** shallow that they base their (misplaced) accusations on how we look, instead of how we sound is pathetic.
"Emo" is not a "look". It is a vague definition of a music style (the get up kids, the promise ring, texas is the reason etc). It's not fringes/bangs and tight jeans, and its not eyeliner. That my friend is 80's hair metal. And this is where they are getting confused. Look at the cover of Kerrang. Do I look like someone from Sunny Day Real Estate? Or do i look like someone from Motley Crue? I think you will find that it's the latter. Not that i want to, but it is certainly a more accurate comparison. And for the record, in our first Kerrang! feature ever back in 2001, on FSOP, i was wearing a 'get up kids' teeshirt, the epitome of 'emo'. Nobody said s**t then......
The people spouting this stupid s**t have no ******** idea what they are talking about and at the most are like ******** 17 years old. Stop banging on about FSOP cause you were probably listening to Bob The Builder when it came out, and you havent even heard the new album!!! So i grew my hair a bit longer!! So ******** what? Does that mean we have changed? No it certainly doesnt. We were wearing this s**t on the end of the last tour, black jeans and whatever else. I didnt hear anything about my last solo Kerrang! cover, and that was more 'emo' than anything. I could have actually passed for a member of Braid.
Bottom line is if people are that dumb and shallow that they would stop listening to us based on how long our hair is, then i dont really want them listening to us in the first place, cause they obviously completely misunderstand what we are about and what we have always been about. Doing our own thing, whenever we want, however we want. Looking and sounding how we want, without giving a s**t what anyone thinks. Always have been like that, always will. We arent 'emo', we aren't 'nu metal', we aren't post hardcore, we aren't pop metal, we aren't anything other than 5 best friends in a ******** rock band.
REMEMBER.....YOU HAVENT HEARD THE NEW ALBUM. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????
Ive read so much stupid crap over the past few weeks about this, that i wanted to have my say, and be done with it. 80's hair IS NOT 'emo', neither is white jackets or anything else related to clothing. If you don't like the new album once it has come out and you have given it a chance, then that's cool, go your own way.
But, until then, grow the ******** up and get a brain, cause comments like 'you are emo sellouts' make you look like a ******** retarded muppet.

Top of the Pops and other UK TV shenanigans that you can be a part of....So seeing as we have been giving you guys in the US a lot of attention lately, this week we will be re addressing the balance slightly. We will be live on Top of the Pops tomorrow (sunday the 4th) from 7pm, come down if ya want. We will also be pre recording the Album Chart show on Monday the 5th. If you want to come down and see us play 3 or 4 songs live, and also get on tv then its at Koko, 1a Camden High st, London, NW1. We will be on around 9pm i think, but get there before that just incase. We also have a bunch of instores coming up, but im not sure on the dates, so i wll get them and post them asap!! They are in the last week of June, i know that much. So yeah anyway, see you on Sunday or Monday, or both!! X Also just to add. We will be miming the music on TOTP because we have to. I wont be miming, it will be live vocals, (so i will be the only one keeping it real... wink ..) but the rest of the guys will. We all want to play fully live, but unless you are a really big band and have sold a s**t load of records, they just tell you to ******** off. Green Day can, Blink can, The Who can, but unfortunately we cant, cause we dont have that leverage YET. It all comes down to how much hassle it is, doing it fully live is a pain in the a** for the tv people i guess, so it doesnt happen often. Few more records sold tho and it will be all good, and all live, not just my a** on the line! As for the Album Chart Show, that IS all live. So that makes up for it. I dont know what the deal for getting into these places is. I dont think you need tickets, but im not sure. I will try to find out, but you can have a look also. Hopefully see you guys there. X > All the posts are by the actual band on their myspace biggrin <

Stuff...
So if anyone knows how to stop people spamming our pictures then we are all ears. I have no idea how its done, therefore have no idea how to stop it. My guess is its some sort of code in one of the picture comments that automatically redirects you to a stupid fone site. Whatever it is, its dumb, and needs to get off our page.
Answers on a postcard to the usual address..
As for other stuff, album is almost here, thank god! The single is out next week, so if you wanna get it and see a good band in the charts that would be nice.
Also, call and bug your local radio station to play us. If i could do it myself i would, but i cant so we are relying on you guys....
