'Ello
I'm Ailyia, 21 from Canada... I haven't taken any official art classes since,
oh I don't know grade 8 or 9 I think, but I draw almost as much as I
breathe to put it simply. I haven't had any dealings with any digital
media, just trying to start, although I've had an interest for a little while.
So I was hoping to up my art a bit, give a bit more into it, hopfully bring
that into animation and web design as well. And after that maybe I can
turn it into something more than a hobby if all goes well. Here's
hoping... whee

My sn Drachefreunde often gets shortened to DF.
Rachel, 22, USA, aimless and game-addicted. I played with Adobe Photoshop a lot from around 5th grade up through Jr. High, then learned 3D Studio Max in a high school team-competition (FIRST Robotics, which has a 3D Animation sub-competition). Went to college for Electrical Engineering, dropped out after a couple of years (EE can get just plain counter-intuitive -- neither solidly abstract nor grounded in obvious reality), and will probably apply to a different college to study digital arts (with a 3D focus) starting some time next year. Bleargh.

Good day! My RL name is Deven, and I'm actually female despite the avatar. I'm 17, in my last year of high school, and live in Ontario, Canada. I speak both English and French. Feel free to call me Art or Artie, since my actual screen name can be annoying to keep typing out.
My main interest is animation, and I hope to get into Sheridan's bachelor of animation program. But I'm also rather fond of web and graphic design, or just art in general. I am extremely proficient in Photoshop, so I can always help out people in that regard. I am mostly interested in learning more Maya, 3D Studio Max, and Flash, although any information I can get my grubby little hands on will do me good, I'm sure.

 Hello all. My name is Spearfrost.... way older than most of you, but not that old. I love drawing. Pencil and paper had been my best buds for quite a number of years. Practically learned the details of how photoshop CS works on my own. I'm sure there's a heck of a lot more that can be done with this program, which I haven't touched on as yet... but will get there someday.
Now learning the details of Macromedia Flash. I am here to suck up everything I can about it. I practically know the basics... but nothing about scripts and coding... >.<
Would love to learn how to animate "flowing" stuff (like long wispy hair or cloth) and one day build a website totally consists of Flash.

Im taking a class on it this year for the first time ever, we're working with adobe photoshop CS
oh and to be nice, I will let anyone on this guild use my photos for manipulating as long as you tell me and give me credit for original photo!
