I was asking because your English sounded a little broken, like it wasn't your first language, that's all. ^_^

Hello all, Ben here with my first official guild post ^^ 'What's that? Your name is Ben?' I hear you ask? Yes, that's right, I am male, and not gender-confused either. I simply prefer the female avatars [meaning I can make more FF characters out of them ><"] I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and I am currently just finishing my homestay in Japan. I am 17, going on 18 in a few months [finally], and my friend introduced me to Herbalism and alternative forms of healing when she converted to Wicca and other Pagan ideas. I myself haven't made up my mind about a spiritual path yet [yes, I'm soulless until then =.=], but many thanks to my friend, and my aunt - who is very deeply involved in natural healing - I became interested in such things. Of course, I still believe that the more conventional types of healing [ie: drugs from the Chemist] are immensely important. I am quite down-to-Earth, in my own opinion, and sometimes annoyingly so [also my own opinion ^^"]. Well, that's me.

Hi, Ben! Don't be surprised if you get called "Yuka" though- I'm terrible with remembering real names. ^_^

Hello, I'm Jackie, i'm 34 and live in Lincolnshire in the UK. My interest in herblore was piqued from reading also, the tales of Brother Cadfael, a sleuthing medieval monk of Shrewbury Abbey. it may sound bizarre but they're great stories, and Cadfael is the abbey's apothecary. i've always loved herbs and wildflowers, if i had a garden it would be full of them. i too think that there is only one deity up there and everyone has a different name for them, it's a relief to find i'm not the only one with that belief, i've never been religious myself, but i am deeply drawn towards Paganism. i will admit that the only knowledge i have of it i obtained from the Da Vinci Code redface but it appealed to me immensely. My dream one day is to have a garden where i can grow herbs to use daily in cooking, teas, decoctions and so on. I too am reluctant to use modern medicines unless i have to, nearly all modern drugs are made from chemical equivalents of the herbs that cures were made from initially, i've never understood the need to do that. i'm really looking forward to getting to know the people here, Malkut i've seen over in the Goddess' guild but the rest of you are all strangers to me, hope we can all become friends 3nodding

We hope so too! I'm in here almost every day at least once a day, sometimes more... at the moment things are a little hectic, but I do my best to check in every day anyway!
We welcome all different beliefs here, and the only thing we ask is that since your belief is respected, that you offer the same respect to all the faiths here. ^_^ You seem like a very intelligent woman though, so I don't think we had to warn you about that! *laughs*
Welcome to the guild and we hope you post regularly!
