Margaret began wondering what the idea behind this scheme was, besides making the first years confused by her sudden change of personality. She hoped Gabriel would notice she was acting, he was an okay kid, after all. "Oh, I think they've allready decided where they're going" said Margaret. She was not able to keep the mocking tone out of her voice. She began regretting getting along with Sashas plan, she was no good at this. To illustrate this, she shot Sasha an annoyed look.

"Lets drop it." Sasha let out a breath. "I was kidding." She addressed the first years. "It's nice to meet you."
She turned to Margaret. "Oh really? They've decided, huh?"

"Let's" said Margaret in a cold voice, wishing the last mintue had never elapsed. "Yeah, I think they have. But some of them might change their mind about Ravenclaw now, seeing as how I- we just embraased our entire house."
She turned to her young protégé. "How are you holding up, Gabirel? Sorry you had to see that, Sasha and myself were just testing alternative social ways."

"Nah, Ravenclaw's got an excellent reputation. Don't worry about it, Margaret." Sasha patted Margaret on the back and turned to Gabriel. "Alternative social ways...right...how are you, Gabriel?"

Gabriel corked an eyebrow at Margaret after the exchange she had with the other girl he didn't know, but decided to ignore it. For the moment at any rate.
"Needle free so far, and don't worry about it." He said calmly. Madam Malkin had since stopped working on Sira and moved on to him, leaving one of her assistants to finish it off what was left to do. Malkin's hand wavered a bit too much for his taste, but had so far missed his skin on every count so he couldn't really complain. He glanced at his bag just to make sure it was still there, like him left it and glanced around.
This wasn't as bad as he thought actually. If he managed to get past the half-a-dozen people who kept staring at him that is.

"That's right, you know she's done this a thousand times, and people don't come out of here looking like hedgehogs." Margaret said seriously, there was no longer a hint of the fake smile she worn a few seconds ago, and she seemed to be slightly embarrased about it. There was a moment of silence, which she then broke with;
"So, have you thought about houses yet, Gabirel?"

"What's the difference? All it means is I sleep in that place instead of that one." He said, everyone had always asked that same question since he got here, but to be honest he couldn't care less, nor he understood why they're important.
His shoulder jerked as Madam Malkin's almost put a needle through it, but it barely hurt so he thought nothing of it. Plus, it was his own fault for trying to see over here to speak.
"Oh there's too much confusion over here." She said. "Come with me." And turning around she headed to he back of the store. The stool in which he was standing also started moving, following her with a bewildered Gabriel on it's back.
"Hey!" He said to the girl that was in front of him. Sira was it? "Tell Margaret to keep an eye out for my bag, will you? Or watch over it yourself!" And soon he disappeared from view.
((ooc: sorry about the missing Gabriel, but both me and my friend there Alexander are going with friends on vacation, and won't be back until the 20th, this is so you can go on without me. You can always assume Alex left the store again for a while. See you when I get back))

"Right!", replied Sira, nodding. She looked at the bag, then at Margaret (to whom she didn't seem to need to repeat the message, as she had heard Gabriel just fine), then stared at the bag again. For a while she almost thought she saw it move, but dismissed it as a trick of the light.

"I heard that" said Margaret, looikg sternly at Sira. Then, as if realizing that might have sounded a bit rude, and, wierd, she continued: "I mean, you don't have to tell me about the bag, I heard that." She too, shot a glance at Gabriels bag, and she couldn't help to wonder what was in it.

After a somewhat uncomfortable silence, Sira finally spoke, to both Margaret and Sasha: "If you don't mind me asking... how was your first year in Hogwarts?"
Granted, she wanted to experience it herself, but meanwhile she also wanted to hear other people's views on it... she had heard both her parents' versions, but was eager to listen to what others had to say. Oddly enough though, it seemed that everyone she ended up asking was or had been a Ravenclaw.
((OOC: Going to be away for a while, not long though. I'll be back on Tuesday/Wednesday!)

Margaret brows furrowed slightly, but other than that, her face showed no emotion. "It was great" she said, without much emotion. "It was really informative, yet some of the stuff I allready knew, my aunt had taught me." She didn't mention that she'd been more or less all alone all year, her own perhaps, but it had felt... lonely at times.

A sound came from the back of the store. It formulate into what seemed to be a massive "OW!", followed by a "Watch where you stab that thing!" What could be an apologize from a much older and female voice formed was heard afterwards, along with strict orders to hold still. Soon both voices quieted enough as not to be possible to hear them from far away.

Although she was listening closely to what Margaret had to say, Sira turned her head back and supressed a chuckle as she heard the sounds coming from the back.
"Looks like Gabriel is being used as a pincushion too", she said.
But then, out of nowhere, her mind traveled someplace else. "My parents!", she thought. "They're probably waiting for me, wondering why I'm taking too long...". She didn't want to leave, though. She was trying hard to befriend people, especially because she didn't want to start her first year at Hogwarts on her own. Plus, she was still curious about the contents of Gabriel's bag and thought that if she hung around for a while, she might just find out. Still, worrying her parents just didn't seem right...
"...I'll be right back", she said, wondering if anyone would care. She picked up her robes and hat, and walked quickly to The Leaky Cauldron, where her parents were awaiting her. She explained why she wanted to stay with the people she just met a bit longer, and how she could surely manage her way home by herself if that was okay.
"Sira, it's quite... dangerous!", cried out her mother. "We couldn't leave you just like that." "But mother!", replied Sira, "it's not like the sun will set anytime soon, or anything. Please, let me stay. It's important to me... and I know the way home perfectly well." Looking at the two 'women of the house' debating, Amun kept nodding and finally said: "I think she should go. It's a one time thing, and we want her to make friends... unless you want her to just talk to Roanoak throughout the year." "He is a wonderful companion, though", added Sira. "So I can go then? Please? Moooo-theeer?". She thought maybe extending the vowels would help. "Fine, fine.", replied Sitara, finally giving in. "Still have a couple of galleons with you? And some sickles? I suppose you could... visit the Tower of Leaves, even. I hear it just opened... it would be a nice place to visit." "We'd go, too, but now we have to carry someone's school supplies home!", complained Amun, although more in jest than anything else.
Sira thanked her parents and happily ran back to Madam Malkin's. Hopefully no one would find odd or annoying that she was now tagging along for no apparent reason, since her shopping was mostly done... On her way, she looked at the tall tower that had to be the Tower of Leaves, and how it loomed over the rest of Diagon Alley. It was a bit old, like the remaining part of a medieval castle, and she couldn't help but wonder what the inside would be like. "Pretty fancy, I bet..." she thought to herself, before re-entering the shop.

After a while, Gabriel returned to the front of the store with several packages in his arms.
"That ought to do it!" Said Madam Malkins, "I hope to see you around next year too!" she said, while already looking around for her next customer. He had already paid for the clothes so it was time to go to the next store. Calmly he walked over to his bag, immediately noticing it had been abandoned there. He quickly looked around, but neither Margaret nor Sira were anywhere to be found. Scared he dropped to his knees to make sure everything was still there, not even noticing when one of the girls came back in.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!", said Sira, upon entering the shop and looking at Gabriel on his knees with a frightened face. "I thought Margaret would be watch-- where is she, anyway? I suppose maybe she had to go too, which is a shame because I'd like to go to that Tower with you guys, but I told her I would be right back and I really didn't take that long, really, I just went to the Leaky Cauldron because my parents were there and I kind of forgot and..."
She really seemed to be falling apart in a somewhat incoherent babble with some excuses in there as well, but mostly because she didn't want to be blamed. A part of her wanted to point out "And you can't get mad at me, after all, you told Margaret to watch it, not me", except it hardly felt like the right thing to say.
Instead, she just asked: "Is everything okay? Is anything missing?"
