An old man dies of old age. Upon arriving on the scene, the detective announces it to be a murder. After interrogating all of the witnesses, he narrows it down to one of three people.
The first is a wealthy businessman, whom the old man owed money too. He was said to have arrived shortly before the old man died, at the alley way.
The second is a local homeless man, who was friends with the old man. They often played chess at the park, and last time they played, they were reported to have a harsh exchange of words. He was found in an alley way near the scene.
Finally, the last suspect is the old man's son, who was set to receive quite a large inheritance off of this. He was also present in the alley way that night, and reportedly rushed over to the alley about a minute before the call was made.
So, who killed the old man?

This one's already been asked, but just to humor you: You ask either of the guards what door the other one would say leads to heaven, and do the opposite.

Winner, you just have to convert a day into a life as it were to figure that one out mrgreen

I dont really understand lateral thinking puzzles because there are alot of explinations that make sense. For instance another answer to the 4legs 2legs 3legs thing is a spider who gets 4 legs ripped off two more ripped off and then one glued back on.

What has a mouth that never eats, Always runs and never walks, Has a bed, yet never sleeps, And sometimes not from mouth, talks?
What am I?

A river, as it water runs, there's a river bed, and the mouth of the river feeds into the ocean. And rivers sometimes babble i.e a Babbling Brook
