Aura looked to them both and smiled then picked up her brush, quickly running it through her hair and setting it back down on the floor then grabbed a plate of cheese cake and a fork. She picked at it a little and then laughed. "Honestly, I have no clue. Just engaged guys, we haven't' discussed anything else." She took another bite of her cheese cake. "Sounds like you two are more excited about this than me almost."
Eclipse was in fact rolling around rather doggish like on the towel. "I will not be stinky..." He righted himself and shook his fur once more before coming to sit next to Aurahkah and cleared his throat, in thought of course. "I'd like to be brushed now."
"Well I'd like to eat. You can wait, have some cheese cake." She pushed one of the two remaining plates on the floor to Eclipse.

"Yes, we can really party. And what kind of ceremony will it be? Egyptian style, modern style, or some freakish thing from whereever he is from? So what? The cook is going to dance?" She giggled uncharacteristically, and then settled down to listen as Aura got flustered.
She began to lap up her hot chocolate and watched the two of them. She sighed as they seemed really happy. "You are stinky Clipsy, do not use your brush on him Aura."

Nailah finished drying her hair and reached for her own plate of cheesecake. Taking a bite she said, "And what kind of reception? Egyptian or modern? Oh I've got it. Have whatever thing he does for the wedding and then do an Egyptian reception so we get to party. And I mean party for days." She took another bite and reached for Aura's brush. "I'm borrowing this." She began to pull it through her hair. Her hair was finally beginning to dry. She quickly brushed her hair and then tossed it to Bastet. "Here make yourself presentable." Then she took a sip of her hot chocolate. "I'm in love." she said softly.

Aura sat there, fork in mouth, staring at them both. She pulled the fork from her mouth and set it upon her empty plate before grabbing up her own mug of hot chocolate. "I really have no answers...yet now I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed. And I do mean extremely." Aura took a long drink from her mug then side glanced Niah. "You've always been in love with Saradin's cheese cake."
Eclipse whimpered and dropped his ears. "I'm not stinky..." He then took a sniff of the air as reassurance. "Really I'm not, Aurahkah!"
"Fine, fine, come here." Picking up the other brush she had brought with her, she began to drag it gently through his long fur.

Bastet smiled, "It is fun to make you feel more overwhelmed though." She quickly dragged the brush through her hair some, then, wandering over to Eclipse, she flopped on him so that her hands were up in the air. "I am presentable thank you. I have no problem with it. I wander if I can mess up the whole brushing process and make more tangles."

Niah laughed. "Poor Eclipse. Don't worry Aura we'll help you with all the little details. Let's see we have food pretty much taken care of but you need a dress. You really need to set a date too. That's kind of important. And I'm in love with Alex although Saradin's cheesecake and hot chocolate are still up there." She took another sip and sighed. "Oh it's perfect." She continued to eat and finally finished the cheesecake. Then she licked the bits off her finger.
Rasui came into the Great Hall and meowed. She hurried in and plopped down and began to purr. She nuzzled her head against Niah's hand and continued to purr.
Niah laughed. "I wondered when you would join us." She stroked her soft head and smiled. "I'm in love." she said again as though she couldn't' quite believe it.

Eclipse licked his muzzle as Aurahkah finished her brushing of him and craned his neck around to look at Bastet who was obviously using him as a pillow. "Comfortable kitty? And if I "stink" so bad, then why are you using me as a comfort device?"
Aura paled the slightest shade. Yes, getting very overwhelmed. "You're getting ahead of the game, don't you think. Besides for all we all know, there may not even be a type of anything at all." She shrugged her shoulders. Sighing and taking another sip of her hot chocolate her brain registered the last of Niah's sentence. She choked on her hot chocolate a little. "Alexander? You're in love with Alexander? As in Vincent's brother Alexander?"

Bastet's eyes went wide and her ears drooped some. "Ah love...." She sighed and smiled, now feeling very alone. "It is good to be in love." She patted Eclipse on the back and crawled back over to her pillow, curling up again. "Because you are fluffy, and I have some measure of fur, and just because I can. Are there wedding bells in the air there too Nailah?" She drank up some more hot chocolate and stared into the fire.

"Yes Vincent's brother and twin Alexander." Niah took another drink and swallowed. "Wedding bells? Wow I hadn't even thought that far. I don't think anytime soon." She saw Bastet curl up and sent out her empath senses just to check. Sure enough Bastet was feeling sad. Niah moved over to Bastet and sat beside her. "Now we just have to find somebody for you. Shouldn't be too hard...there's plenty to choose from here. Like...a certain elf...or maybe Elias is more your style. Or perhaps Master Chef himself, Saradin." She laughed and hoped she would cheer Bastet up. She really didn't want anyone sad when she was so happy.
Rasui picked herself up from the ball she had curled into and moved over to Bastet. Curling up against the two she once again began to purr.

Aura drained her mug and laid back in the floor, her head on one of the pillows she had thrown down. "Ah, don't worry Bastet. We have to take care of men now...you still get to have your share of parties, single life and such." She let out a soft laugh at the concept.
Eclipse made a cross between a groan and a laugh. "You women." He swished his tail back and forth and rested his head upon his paws, letting his wings slack.

She snorted lightly, "Yes, sure. Whatever. Like that will ever happen, I do not need anyone." Clearly lying, she shook her head and looked at Nailah, "What makes you think something is wrong anyway? You invading with those empath senses again? You guys and Pheaura are happy, well Pheaura will be when Ryo shows up anyway." Reaching down, she turned Rasui around some so she couls scratch her stomach. "You will just have to adopt them anyway." After they make you incredibly happy. Bleh, too complicated.

"It isn't intruding. And I can't control them...they have a mind of their own." She looked at her hands for a minute. "Are you sure you don't need anyone? Well you always have us..." She stopped and then smiled, "And I have now officially lost my title as Egyptian Whore. You can have it if you want..." She knew how Bastet felt though. There were many times when she missed Nadai. She had a feeling Bastet had had the same kind of experience. There was a story here somewhere..she just had to coax it out. Niah fluffed her pillow and laid down.
Rasui flipped for Bastet and closed her eyes purred her little heart out. She was extremely content. She flipped back over and curled up next to Bastet hoping she would not stop her heavenly scratching. Oh it was wonderful when someone else's claws could make her feel this good.

"Oh...now I can't throw the insult at you in our fights Niah." She giggled and turned on her side, propping her head up with her hand as she looked over to the others in her company. "Yes...men. Big babies you adopt from their mothers. But it's not an entirely bad experience, they have their moments.
Eclipse raised his head and perked his ears. He gave a chuckle. "Boy is that little purr box loud." He sensitive ears twitched at the rhythmic sound of Rasui's purring.

She wrinkled her nose, "No, I would not like that title, and Aura, you can always use it even though it is in her past. I am well aware that they have their moments, and if I have not needed anyone in a while, then why would I need someone now?" She reflected on Omari and sighed, she remembered loving him and losing him. She would never be hurt like that again. Never, she smiled to Aura and Nailah, knowing that Aura knew about him. Nodding slowly as she reflected on her response, she scratched the purr box under the chin and yawned some.

"Loud and cute. Like me. And technically I never really was the manor whore. I just got hit on a lot." She squinted one eye. "I don't really know why though." She cuddled even more into her pillow. "You could always say that you don't need someone. It doesn't make it true." She decided that was the last she would say on the subject. She would press for details later. At least from Bastet. She still wanted details from Aura.
Rasui should have been insulted at being called a purr box but she was too happy. She lifted her chin to give Bastet better access and slowly fell asleep.
