Elias stirred in his bed, he could help but notice the slight weight on his chest. He stirred completely from his sleep. He could not help but smile as he saw the two girls sleeping there so soundly, they looked almost alive, there, on his massive chest. But Elias felt that it was time for him to rise. Doing the same thing he did every night, he rose from his bed delicately, without so much as striring the sisters from the sleep, it was the thing that he did every night. He eyed himself in the mirror, his bare chest had many scars, the largest of which was the one which ran from the middle of his chest to the middle of his stomach. This scar he had received from the bastards who had killed his family and had tried to kill him. The book had not allowed him to die, and now the book was sealed inside his human body, slowly turning it into that of a god. Placing his sleeveless shirt unto his bare chest, he made his way out of the room and towards the kitchen.

Through the bottom of his glass, Saradin could see Elias as he entered. Not putting it down, but holding it aloft still, Saradin greeted, "Hello. Care for a drink?" Once the glass was again on the table, he filled it once more and looked up at Elias' large frame. "So, whats your story exactly?" Already half drunk, Saradin was never much for eloquent words this late at night.

Elias made his way into the kitchen slowly and took a seat, at table. He was in the mood for a drink but he thought that maybe it was not the best thing to begin to drink this early in the morning especially since he heard something very familiar hit his ears. It seemed that the girls had woken up and there were making there way down the stairs. Elias would never think to drink in dront of those two, it was one of the many thing that he had been thought by his father, and something that he would never allow himself to forget. "Hello hermosas." Elias smirked as he he saw the girls explode into the kitchen, just before they jumped unto him. Bringing him crashing to the ground.
"Hola, Hola Elias" Daswn giggled as she and her sister jumped up and down On Elias's massive chest. This was the same way that they greeted him in the morning, bringing the giant of a man, both of the girls knew that Elias allowed himself to be dropped to the floor. And they loved himmore for it. "How are my two lovelys doing this evening?"he said as he laid on the floor. Dawn was the first to answer, " I am doing great!" she giggled, Twillight was always the more subtle of the two, her answer was a simple one, she laid her head on his massive chest and closed her eyes. That was the only answer that Elias needed to know.

Looking again through his shot glass half expecting the sight to stop being there or that they were actually just stains on its bottom, Saradin wondered about what exactly happened here. But he recognized a child's attitude immidiately and went to put away the liquor as well as brew fresh coffee. Gaining a little composure, he looked to Elias one more time. "This is why I need to be around more. So many people I dont know."

Elias pushed the girls gently off his chest as he rose once more from the ground, he looked at the now half drunk man, and could not help but smile. "The invation for the drink is much appreciated, but I cannot drink tonight, it is something that I do not do in front of the girls." he said as he took a seat next to the drinking Saradin. "As far as my story goes, are really sure that you want to hear such a long and boring story." he smiled as the young Twillight took a seat in his lap and Daw dissaperead into the mansion, to go on her own adventures.

"Try me. Story telling has always fascinated me." Shots replaced with black coffee that blocked out the stench of alcohol, Saradin sipped at it and considered exactly what he wanted to know. "Just tell me everything and I'll be the one to decide. Maybe I could make something to eat if that'll loosen your tongue." Satisfied with his honest comment and broken smirk, he drank his coffee and offered the pot to Elias if he wanted any.

"See now coffe I will take, I love coffee, strong black and bitter." he laughed as he ran his fingers through the young Twillight's hair. "If you want to hear my story, first I want to ask you a question, how well do you know the history of Mexico?" Elias asked as he leaned closer to the table.

"Ancient cultures, smashed to bits by spanish explorers. And so sums up my knowledge on whole. I do know something of a few specifics from here and there though." Saradin sent a mug across the table and filled it with hot black cofee, just the way he claimed to like it. "I've got until the morning sun rises to listen though."

Elias smiled as he took the warm cup of coffee and took a large sip of the bitter black brew. Twillight jumped from his la and flew out of the door in search of her sister. "She is a shy little one, she prefers the company of her sister." he smiled as he took another large slip of the bitter coffee. "The Aztec empire is the most known of the empires which ruled in Mexico at point or another. Now there was something unique about this empire, it was not created by men but gods, more specifically one god in particular, its name is Quetzalcotahl, a massive winged snake with the ability to take human form. He taught a small group of people the secrets to many things, and they in turned built huge stone temples devoted to him. So that he could bring the rain and for teaching them the secrets of the stars and life." Elias spoke in a very solemn, drawing the history of his former self, straight from the knowledge sealed within himself. "Now as with all great things they must come to an end, QuetzalCoathl left behind the Aztec empire, and swore to come back in the year two reed. But when the year two reed came it was not QuetzalCoathl that came but the Spaniards and with them the completion of a prophecy, in the year two reed the winged snake would return and it would herald the end of th Aztec Empire, and that was exactly what happened." ELias took a small pause here to let Saradin absorb the information.

"Quetzalcothal." Saradin repeated the name back to Elias. "I can already tell that the end of this story involves the serpent god." The powerful brew was beginning to take effect and his lethargy was vanishing along with the bits of drunkeness leaving only a minor hangover.

"You are right about that my friend, as any good people they wrote everything that had learned from the serpent god down. It was intrsuted to one of my ancestors. In the years to follow it was kept secret and safe by my ancestors until it came to fall in the hands of my parents, this was the same year that the goldrush started in California, the state where I was born, more specifically I was born in the then colony of Los Angeles, a city devoted to the Santa Virgen Maria de Guadalupe. My Father was a man by the name of Joaquin Murieta, he is known to this day as one of the most infamous grave robbers of the era. One cold night in the Los Angeles desert, my parents were killed, they said that it was because my father was breaking the law. But I knew the truth, they were killed trying to protect the book, and when I found this out, I was inraggged angered at the book, for the pain that it had caused me in my blind hate I threw the book into a fire, little did I know that it would be the end of my human life......" Elias's voice trailed off remebering the ghosts of the past.

((Why does gaia only eat my good posts?))
"I dont like the direction of this story. But then again, barely anyone here is without one." It was no longer late but very early, so Saradin didn't bother entertaining the idea of a hard drink anymore. Instead he focused on his coffee, the black surface reflecting his image just like a certain someone who he knew was watching and waiting. He still needed to read his own book... "But this book. Your parents died defending it, so it seems that it would be worth protecting. Destroying it doesnt seem to make much sense to me. But as you mentioned anger can make fools of us all."

Elias nooded his agreement to Saradin's comment. "Exaclty, I did not think what I was doing I simply acted, but when I burned the book out of anger, I had lost everything and I thought that if I destroyed the book nobody else would suffer my fate. There was something wrong with what I did, because the creators of the book put a very special seal on it. The only was that the book could be opened by was proving that you did not want to open the book. In order words, the only way to open the book was to destroy it. When I launch the book into that flame I unleashed the massive powers of the Aztec Rain god, and sealed them inside myself." Elias said as he opened his shirt to reaveal the intricate Aztec seal that was tattoed upon his massive chest. "I then began simply to travel the world, going from one shamman to the next trying desperately to learn the secrets of destroying the book. In England I thought that I had found someone that would realease the seal, but in the end I found that I had come across a very sick ********, who killed two teen year old girl twins and bound there spirits to himself and let just say that he wasn't using them to clean his toilets" he said as rage began to build inside. "I ripped that ******** balls out and made him choke on them for what he had done to those girls, they should have left for the other realm, but they did not want to leave, and so have been my constant companions, and those are those two girls that you saw run in here earlier, they are twins by the name of Dawn and Twillight. Eventually my travels let me to this place." Elias said taking another sip of his coffee finally endind his story. "So tell me my friend what is you story?" he asked as he laid back in his chair.

"Such eloquent language you use. The artistic sense that comes with actually living in the here and now I suppose." Saradin used it at first as an excuse to avoid coming to his own tale, but avoiding it was only temporary and better Elias hear it from his own mouth. "First and foremost, I am a murderer." Solemnly though he said it, the sentence cut even deeper than it showed. "That is something you should know, and that I want to know what you think of a man who readily admits to such a deed."

"Who am I to judge someone who has talen human life, I have killed many men in my life, lost an eye while trying to kill one and not to mention I made a certain perverted man choke on his genetalia, and I apologixe for using such vulgar language it is just that I cannot stand a man that would dare hurt an innocent child, even after they are dead, but enough of my woes, what makes you think you are murderer and not merely a killer."he said with a sly smile on his face.
