"Well put. But your initial explanaiton could use some polishing if thats how you feel." Saradin sent his half empty bottle down Elias' way. "You prefer harder drinks or sticking with the basics?" One more drinking buddy couldnt hurt. "Either way, I may need to be sleeping soon. A long road led me here and a harder trek awaits."

Before going any further into that thought he looked with surprise at the cake. "You mean you havent already? By all means!"

Niah looked at her hands. "I was trying to be polite." She shook her head and began to slice the cake. Grabbing plates she asked, "Does anyone want some? I mean besides me of course? That would be redundant if I asked myself but you know." Niah realized she was rambling and shut up. She looked at the others and waited for a response. Niah froze. Snake. She screamed and backed quickly away. "Ra...snake...." She began breathing heavily. "Don't like snakes."

"I can never deny an invention for cake, or for a drink for an ally." he said as he served himself from Sardis's bottle and raised it in his direction, "Salud compadre." he said as he walked over to Lady Naliah's side, and served himself some cheesecake, "I do not mean to make assumptions my dear Lady Naliah but is something bothering you, Alex perhaps?" he said as he ate a morsel of the cake and washed it down with his drink.

"When you're thirteen, chased down by a pack of them, taken down and attacked by them and your parents are standing about fifty feet away, doing nothing to help you, letting said jackals make a meal out of you, you have every right to be scared. I was traumatized by it, leave me be."

Nailah shuddered. Whether it was from aura's story, the fact the snake was speaking, or the snake's commetn she had no idea. "Anything other than resembling snake would be fine with me. Just no jackals." She shuddered again. "Barbaric Gods. It's bad enough they used women for thier own ends...but to eat their hearts. Isn't that a little too far? Gives new meaning to hold someone's heart in the palm of your hand...ripe for the crushing." She shuddered again.

"You'll have to forgive me, but the rest I mentioned, I need it badly. I cant stay awake even at the table. Maybe just one to many." Quickly withdrawing himself from the table, and taking the time to gather his piled armor and pack Saradin nodded his goodbye to them all. "Enjoy the cheesecake Niah, and I wish you sweeter dreams. Goodnight all."

Saradin stepped out into the halls and a moment later, the heavy clank of metal hitting the floor resounded through the area.

Elias raised an eyebrow as he heard Lady Naliah's comment. "You should not be so quick to judge Lady Naliah, my former self never killed those women, they came to him of his own free will, you must understand one thing, death is not necceseraly a bad thing, those that dyed through sacrafice understood that through there deaths new life would be born." he said as he looke down at the snake, "It seems ath the young lady prefers we change." he smiled as he touched the exposed Aztec seal and uttered a few choice words. The seal and the snake began to glow and in a flas of blinding light, Enoch the snake was gone, and Elias stood dressed ina new attire, the red amor that he now wore was red as the snake's and seem to be made of the same material, the helmet that he wore was the shape of a snake bearing its fangs. This helmet he quickly removed knowing that it would bother the lady. Elias also now had a very large pair of white angel's wings on his back. He also had very large daggers in his hilt that resembled the fangs of a snake. "Hope that this more to your liking." ELias said as he looked at the girl, with his one good eye, which was now the bright yellow slitted of a snake's


|"Yes, I did not mean to offend Lady Naliah." Enoch spoke but when he did it was out of Elias's mouth.

Nailah smiled at the wolf. Getting up she walked to him and ruffled his fur. "Yes, but you also have four legs, a tail, and blue fur. I reserve the right to discriminate against anything that slithers on the ground. Especially if it has feathers. I love you Clippy, you know that." Niah felt another scream but strangled it with cheesecake. She refused to comment. All this changing forms was beginning to get to her. She looked at her plate and once again sighed.
