Laurence closed his eyes "I never even checked if any of them came back. like i did." Laurence opened his eyes and looked at her "they were the ones i loved, they were my family."

Rachel sighed to herself. He was wallowing...
"Laurence, we've all lost something. I could have saved my family, but I didn't. There are things in this life that we all regret, but we have to do the best with what we've got, right now." Rachel came towards him, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Trust me, it doesn't help to wallow."

Laurence takes a deep breath and leens back "Thank you for being here"
he turns to face her "i will try to put it behind me." Laurence turned back to the window and smiled then out of nowhere tured around and tackled Rachel. before she could ask what he was doing the windowshattered as a bullet came through it and made a 4 by 4 inch hole in the wall. Laurence was up in a flash, he ran to the couch and reached into the coushens pulling out a rifle. he loaded one bullet and aimed not useing the scope.
He stoped breathing and froze, Then fired. Rachel could hear the thub as the bullet hit the man, he did not scream because it had entered inot his temple when he had turned his head to reload. "we should ge Laurence said as he walked into his kitchen and grabed a pistol still carrying the rifle.

Rachel heard the bullet fire, after Laurence tackled her. She carefully levitated the broken glass and threw it out the window. She followed Laurence out wordlessly, grabbing a miscellaneous gun and cocking it, ready to fire. She put up a small barrier around them with her mind. "I thought we took them all out" She whispered.

"Let's go" Arianna siad, she grabbed her gun and headed in the direction Karissa had pointed.

Rachel and Laurence froze, hearing the voices, but relaxed as they realized it was Arianna and Karissa. "Karissa." Whispered Rachel, so that only vampires could hear. "You're approaching us, so don't freak out, its just us."

"What? You think I can't take care of myself? Believe me, I can. Anyone who knows me will tell that I am a badass when provoked" Arianna said, a bit sharply. She hated it when people thought she couldn't handle herself. Even though she may not seem it she could be bad when needed.
