With another smile, Kits hands found there way to the middle of her sides, kissing her soft and tender for a few moments longer. After lips broke, he looked to her eyes.
"Well, my bed is extra comfy, and I wouldn't mind some company tonight," He spoke out, blushing again.

"Hmmm...Do you want me to stay then? Is that what you're trying to tell me? Because several women might have slapped you by now if they didn't know you like me."
She said it as a joke, but she did want to know if he really wanted her to stay. Jan was still very close to him at this point in time. Close enough to kiss him again if he answered in a favorable manner. Her eyes sparkled with that uncanny life that never seemed to dim. As her arms slowly closed around him, she waited, smiling lightly.
It was a strange sort of happiness that made her almost hyper. Like a sugar high without the inevitable crash...or so she hoped.

Kit blushed and smiled a little with her words. He pulled her ever so close, lips brushing to her own, in the tenderest of kisses.
"Of course I want you to stay, Jan," He whispered out to her, getting lost in her forest eyes. Kit tugged her a little closer, wrapping his arms about her, tugging her closer to his bed.
His bed was a touch too small for the both of them, realistically. But still, not enough so it would hamper either of their sleep. Finger and hands traced along her back, welcoming Jan into a soft embrace, trying his best to coax her to stay there with him.
Kit's heart and mind equally fluttered in the moments, happy to have her near, and just as equally happy to have her sharing in the moments with himself.

Jan's deep garnet eyes locked to his, and she found herself being pulled towards the softness of his bed and the warmth of his arms. She couldn't seem to stop herself from staying in Kit's arms, even though the bed was a bit too small for two people.
She watched him, took in his expression and soon found that hers must have been the same. Controlled longing, tender eyes, and love all mixed up into an expression. His whisper had sent chills down her spine, where his fingers now walked, and she was still tingling.
"How could I say no to that?" she asked in a soft, half-whisper, before finally her lips met his once more. Her eyes closed, her body settled itself into his arms, and finally, she was safe in his bed with him.

Kit kept Jan close in her arms, being careful not to pull her to tight. His bed was a little bit skimpy when it came to more than one person, but thats just meant they would have to share the available space.
He kissed her lips right on back, melting into their warm sensation, feeling his closed eyes glow for just a moment, as the feeling sparked though his senses. Kit rubbed her back soft and idly, almost as if his hands didn't know they were performing a play upon the center of her back.
Looking into Jans eyes after the kiss, he remained silent, a soft smile on his lips, and the subtle glow in his eyes saying everything and more than what words could do. Nuzzling a little closer to Jan, he became lost in the loving moment with her.

Jan's eyes glowed softly, her eyes softly taking in those of Kit. She smiled and closed her eyes, resting in his arms, the lack of space something of a minor detail in her mind. Tingling sensations traveled up and down her spine as Kit's hands played upon her back. Garnet eyes closing, she curled up to him and felt herself slip away into dreamland.

Kit kept his softly glowing eyes open a few moments longer, watching Jans eyes slowly close. He held her close in his arms, keeping her sfae in the moments. He watched as she started to fall asleep, listening to her breathing slow, as she faded off. With a tender smile, his own eyes fell shut, and within moments, Kit was whisked away to sleep.

Just a few hours later, everyone in the city was jarred from their sleep by the alarm that went off when they were under attack. Jan's eyes shot open, glowing intensely. Quickly, she disentangled herself from Kit and ran to her room. she threw on some pants that held her weapons and a particularly sturdy shirt. Moments later, her appearance had changed to that of Garnet's. she tied her hair up into a tight pony-tail and moments later she was out the door, her legs carrying her as fast as they could toward the HQ that sounded the alarm.

Kit awoke quite suddenly by the uproarious sounds of the alarms, not havin g a single clue of what was going on. He blinked a few times, feeling Jan in his arms, before she just disappeared and vanished away as the door slammed shut.
He blinked a few times, still groggy from sleepiness, quite unaware of wherever it was Jan darted off to in such a frenzy.
Kit rolled over to his back upon the bed, against the commotion of the alarm, still piercing his ears and mind.
Blocking it out, he was able to relax just enough.
Inside of Jans mind, Eiji's voice asked for Kit, slightly panicked : "What is happening here?"

Garnet answered for Jan. "The city is under attack. We're in the front line of defense."
The commanders told her it seemed like twenty mechs and somewhat of a bounty hunter. Through clenched teeth Garnet commanded the citizens closest to the battle zone to be evacuated to the HQ. A small group of powerful amps followed her toward the battle site, about five cliques from the town. No one who had ever seen Garnet before had seen her looking quite so fierce, or angry.

Eiji knew that Kit would not be able to follow Jan at all, as he knew that where she speedily dashed off to was highly off limits to those who just did not belong there. As it was, that happened to be a very high percantge of the general population.
Eiji Spoke once again to Garnet, knowing time was very short.
"What can I... we do to help you?"

"I wouldn't know. I've never seen your abilities. If the alarms go off a second time, it means that we need back up. Come then and tell them that you're here under my orders. Otherwise, stay where you are and make sure that Inwytia stays there too."
That said, Garnet spotted the mechs on the horizon. In the flash of an instant, she had her blades out, already in the midst of them, slicing through important wires, never stopping so that the mechs could not detect what was happening.

Before Eiji could respond, he had been cut off, knowing that Garnet had to focus with Jan now. Kit woke up, shaking his head quickly side to side, groggy from the link that had just occurred. He stumbled to the kitchen, rummaging for a glass, and filling it about 3 times with water, just to recover from the intensity that had just happened within and outside of his being.
Kit felt dizzy and sick to his stomach, the constant buzzing and ringing of the alarm not helping out at all. He dropped his cup into the metal of the sink and fell backwards onto the tile of the kitchen floor.
Kit's memory stopped just before he fully hit the ceramic tile,as Eiji made Kit vanish once again, knowing that it was necessary. Several very long and elaborate feathers floated down onto the tile, as Kit Simply vanished to the witness of no one.
A soft glowing and Golden hue surrounded Garnet as she went wild and crazy with force, protecting her as best as Eiji could from whatever may occur, as she went about disabling the mechs.

Garnet continued to fight, lightning fast until she got through fifteen of the mechs. Other amps were completely destroying the mechs that managed to escape her wrath with long range blasts. And two more amps helped her to take out the final five that were advancing, each amp destroying ever mech they disabled.
Her aura was beginning to pulsate as her heart beat grew rapidly. She gave the command to scout out the area and reported in what had happened.

Eiji just kept casting the golden hue about Jan, showing her in an invisible layer of protection, completely unnoticed by herself, or those around her.
With an excess of energy he dared to spare, Eiji casted his hue onto those closest to Jan, still focusing closely upon her. He held back the hurt and pain, only wanting to keep Jan, and those closest to her safe as the battled the incoming forces.
