The Bijoux Have you guys ever seen any of disney's nazi cartoons that were banned? One of them has Donald Duck being a nazi and eventually, at the end he wakes up and says "Thank god I'm American!" The other is how a boy grows up to be a nazi. It's really interesting. Has anyone seen these? I've seen them -- they have a ton of WWII propaganda films. Thank goodness my boyfriend was a TA for Hisory of Animation or something along those lines. He brought a the tape home for me to watch one night. FANTASTIC!

Kitoku Hime Fantasy Moon Hi!
..... *sigh*
I want to see Kingdom of Heaven again... I blame the folks at MuggleNet for turning me into a Thewlis fangirl. blaugh aw, I meant to see that! did that come out this week? I was so concerned about getting to the star wars midnight showing that I completely overlooked it... Actually it came out like a week before I finally got to see it, I think. I couldn't get my friend to come with me because he didn't want to be indebted to me for money so I decided to go myself. Know how you just need to get out of the house? As long as you don't take the historical accuracy of the film too seriously (otherwise go see a documentary, peeps!) you should enjoy it.
I noticed the local theater was advertising the pre-showing tickets for $8 on the phone when I've been calling for the movie times. Feh. I'll just wait until it hits video and then buy it to complete my collection. For a girl with lots of Star Wars merchandise in her room, I've so lost interest in the series.

I wasn't too excited about it either, going into it--but I have to say, of the three prequels this one is definitely the best.

Watch the original trilogy right after it, and you'll be in for a treat. I only managed to watch Jedi, but ooooh the ending sent chills up my spine. Maybe that was partially due to the fact that I was watching the original Jedi that came out in the 70s before Lucas bastardized the hell out of it.

I've always thought the ending was way better with the little ewok song. 3nodding Jedi was early 80's though--it came out the year I was born. *feels old* wow, I've been feeling old a lot lately.

I'm addicted to listening to Rammstein's "Du Hast"... make it stop! gonk twisted DU... heehee. I learned in German class that the phrase 'Du hasst mich' means, 'you hate me,' and it's pronounced exactly the same as 'hast' (have). So it's kind of an interesting play on words, and if you're just listening to it you don't know which one they actually mean until they finish the sentence.

It was the English version of the song so I understood it. Although I need to start up on my German studies again now that the quarter is winding to a close. For once I hope to hear a song in a foreign tongue and not have to rely on translated lyric websites! xd
Isn't that movie wonderful? 3nodding Yes, as a little kid I had such a crush on Basil of Baker Street.
Now that I've changed my major, I'm getting my classes listed right. Foolish substitution has screwed it all up. Now my only concern should be the classes for fall quarter.
