((I am throughly disturbed))
Cin went about cleaning some things in the house up, it was getting quite late.
"It seems everyone else is getting ready to sleep or is already sleeping, that is other then you and your nightowl boy." Cin smiled as she said this to Kali.
"I am not going to be able to sleep so, I may head off to get some of the concrete stuff started so we can get the foundation built tomorrow." Cin sighs slightly. "I don't know if I am ever going to get use to living landside, walking around and working in the daylight seems like a fantasy or dream sometimes. That is probably why I can't sleep at night, I am too use to always seeing the stars." Cin looks over to Kali and laughs self-conciously, "don't mind my rambling. I am just going to go check on the bike and then go get the cement stuff". Cin stands up quickly and starts toward the door.
((next post I am going to have Kasai waking up and it being morning))

"Alright, I'll stay here with the boys. Galilee's not really much of a night owl...he doesn't stay up as late as I do." Kali was cleaning up a few things too. "In the morning, I'll make waffles...with different toppings. Sound good?"

Nika clambered up the tree, going higher. The boy obviously didn't have a fear of heights as he was nearing the flexible and skinny tip of the tree. He was well aware of the fact that the branches were'nt as strong as they were at the base of the tree and Nika became more careful as he chose the branches he stepped on.
He looked down, Shiva was out of view, hidden by leaves. He shrugged and continued on his journey upwards.
In a few minutes or so he might be able to touch the very top of the tree...
G_E was about to reply to Rhia when she saw something all too interesting out of the corner of her eye. What was that? It was an awfully large bird... with lanky limbs? Wait... no bird was built like that.
Nika.
She moved so fast that G_E nearly jumped out of her skin, leaving a small dust cloud trailing behind her as she raced in the direction of the tree her foolish boy insisted he climbed.
Too frightened to be tired after her long race to the tree, she screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Nika! Get down from there! What in the world do you think you are doing?"
Nika jumped at the sound of Gee yelling his name and nearly slipped on the small, bouncy branch he stood on. Quickly regaining his balance the boy began to climb down, his pulse pounding in his ears. If he had been any slower he might have fallen. What was Gee doing, startling him like that?
'I'm coming...' he called suddenly afraid of what his gaurdian would do to him when he got his feet on the ground.
(( When I was little, I fell out of a tree. I landed flat on my back and didn't get a scrape on me. I suppose I have my strong bones to thank for that... or soft ground?))

"Thanks Kali", smiles at the girl as she gathers some things up. "Waffles sound wonderful as well."
Cin walks out into the crisp night air, breathing in the cool air she looks over to her hoverbike. It would be nice to get out and ride, sure she was getting some things to help build the school; but she hadn't had a good bike ride in quite some time. Walking over to the vehicle Cin starts to check in over, more out of habit then worry there was something wrong with it. Every pilot was trained to go down a checklist before they took off, she had learned to do her checklist in her mind. Something others may call her damn foolish for doing, but it was also something that had never lead her wrong. Hoping on the bike Cin starts it up, the hoverbike purrs slightly as it runs and then lifts itself off of the ground. Grining Cin drives off into the dark.

Shiva had watched his ascent as well, but was equally startled by G_E's panicked arrival. Casting her gaze down at the anxious guardian, she likewise began to clamber down. As she was closest, she arrived first.
What was she so concerned of? Nika wouldn't have fallen. Of that, she was very sure.
Besides...even if he had, she was there...wasn't she?

G_E smiled kindly at Shiva, and waited patiently for her boy to get down. Perhaps she had over-reacted but if he had fallen, the chances of him surving were very slim. The fact that G_E was a little frightened of heights herself had nothing to do with how high Nika had been climbing...
Really...
Nika landed on the ground beside Shiva. He shot his gaurdian a wary smile and kicked at the ground.

Returning to the house Trivii, binked at her watch, "Well kiddo, its getting late, tea time is here. Carry the rosemary while I get the tea tray?"
Saniya nodded and carefully took the plant... 'Shouldn't we put a bow in it?'
"Nahh... common."
'Alright, I just thought that it'd be prettier...' Sani studdied the plant, and trailed behind Trivii, in the short walk over to Pam's.

Trivii paused to knock on Pam's door, looking down at Sani. "I hope you have fun... she doesn't have a child, a Masque, or a hatchi...."
Sani blinked and double checked her perfect posture, determined to enjoy the evening, if just for Trivii, thinking *a girls night.*

Arcin arrived home wondering vaguely what hapened to Trivii, he retrieved a cup of coffee and quickly emersed himself in scientific reports, recording all the new developments with the garden.

Fauve glanced away from her sister and looked toward Ice's house, she'd never really spoken to Io seriously... but... Fauve looked at Merci 'I'm going to take a walk while you figure out sleeping arrangments.. I don't think that You, Me, and the pipsqueek are going to fit in the same bed....'
Merci's brow creased and she nodded, she'd have to talk to Kataio, Verran and Haisyn about getting the two teenagers a room of their own... or something... heck when the little hats grew into teenagers they might need their own rooms too.. She'd have to take a count of rooms... and maybe talk to Ice about taking Fauve shopping somewhere... "Your right.. let me work something out..."
(I'm playing that it's already gone to night as per Cinder's posts..)
Fauve turned away and folded her arms across her stomach, walking... She looked down and her eyes curved a little bit, picking up some fairly decent sized rocks she busied her hands with juggling them.. She let herself wander over to the line of the forest, mostly because she liked the sound of the wind in the leaves. Everything was.... so... she wondered if this is what it was like for Cern and Io...
Mostly she thought about Kasai... hoping that the changes she was going through wouldn't destroy their relationship.. She really cared for him, he was so kind to her when everyone else was angry. She stopped and turned around looking at the colony, and for the first time since she awakened from her mask, felt like she really didn't belong....
Merci turned still holding Uriel's hand she moved back toward the house, the little hatchi child was yawning. She could put him in the trunk again, at least until morning when she could find better arrangments... it was filled after all with the scarves she used to decorate, and it could be comfortable enough. That would leave Fauve the bed and Merci herself could stretch out on the floor... These thoughts preoccupied her as she got the little boy ready for bed...
(Edit: I guess Fauve's an insomniac.. this is the second night she hasn't slept blaugh )

G_E was seriously considering what punishment would fit this situation. The punishments she had managed to think up so far didn't exactly agree with her. She felt a little guilty... afterall he hadn't been doing anything wrong. Except scare her shitless... and that wasn't entirely his fault.
It wasn't his fault that she worried about him so much, him and Bizzy. Someone or soemthing could have gotten him. She shivered involuntarily as the sky darkened. Silva was still out there.
Nika smiled warmly at Shiva, knowing that he wasn't in much trouble. It didn't take much to figure out what was going through Gee's head. All of her thoughts expressed themselves, in some way, through her face. A weakness of hers.
He didn't tell Shiva this, however. If he said anything of the sort Gee might decide to punish him because of that.
G_E sighed finally coming to her conclusion. She held her hands out to the children, "It's getting dark. Time for bed, Nika. We'll walk Shiva home... and pick Bizzy up on our way."

*Cin breathed in the night air and looked up at the stars, she had always thought they were beautiful, smiling sadly she remembered something her father had told her - if you ever get tired of seeing the stars...is time to stop being a pilot.*
Come on girl time to get going...*Cin says this and throws some bags onto the back of her hoverbike, then she secures them on with some clips. Taking one last look up at the stars she jumps on her bike and then heads back toward camp. Sunrise was not far off, in the distant horizon the dark of night was starting to turn purple.*
*Cin comes to a coast allowing her bike to quiet down as she enters the base, hoping not to wake any of the colonists. Stopping at her house she gets off and goes inside, heading to her bedroom she plans to get some well needed sleep.*
*Kasai watched the wall, he had slept for a few hours and then couldn't get back to sleep. With a sigh he turned over, with many things rushing through his mind. Fauve had grown up...he didn't know why but this bothered him alot. He had a feeling she was special and even though some said she caused problems he only wanted to protect her. With yet another sigh he sits up in bed, trying to keep quiet as not to wake Galilee he gets under his bed and pulls out a case. Inside was a laptop that Cin had given him, he took it out and started typing.*

Galilee looked up, You don't have to sneak around...I'm awake. I was talking to Zahar...I think she's gone to bed.
Kaliska yawned and turned over, then fell out of bed. She continued to sleep, her right leg still on the bed.

Zahar crawls into bed after a long period of staring out the window. 'Good night to all that are still awake.' She said quiet enough not to wake the dreamers and loud enough that anymask awake would hear.
Kataio was downstairs playing with her cards. She was never too much on the sleeping bit anyway.

I didn't want to wake you, I am just writing in my journal and then I am going to work on some code. *Smiles slightly in the dark and then looks over his screen at Gali* If you aren't tired I can load a game up to play, I just want to finish this up.
Cin turns over in her sleep, her brow creased...her dreams were not pleasant tonight.

Thanks...but i don't feel much like playing. I think i made Zahar mad...I mean...I offered to walk her back to her guardian...then ditched her when Kali showed up. Galilee sat up a bit, rubbing his eyes. He looked over at Kasia. Oh...and sorry about insulting Fauve...it's just...we're supposed to make this place safe. And those two...they just cause so much trouble. They seem to have been the reasons behind most of the problems lately.
