Lillian tilted her head "never hurt anyone? You act like you...don't...you really are from another world, huh?" she finally got it, looking around for signs of that overzealous hunter. "I know miles, yes, but I can't find him right now. I'm also missing my partner dion.

The thing is, vampires here feed on mortals like they were livestock. They kill
entire families and turn those they see as potential candidates into their own.


The lycans are no better, if a bit more mindless in their killings. They rampage through the forests and suburban areas, slaughtering anything in their path. If you're lucky enough to survive an attack by a lycan, you'll be one yourself in three days every full moon. Thats why theres so much distrust here."

She shook her head, helping knuckles up "Although that hunter was a bit overzealous. He nearly killed me!..hmm...As for a cure though, i'm not sure. Our only hope so far has been the cave, and we were let down with horrible consequences."

Dash crossed his arms.

Mourning... I'll say...

"I am only interested in Miles if he has a cure. I know I am being overzealous about this, but I don't think you can blame me."

Dash suddenly realized he was getting a sort of thirst, it seemed familiar. He suddenly realized he regarded Lillian, if thats what the red guy called her, the same way he would regard a glass of water, were he thirsty. He knew what was happening, he needed blood.

Nonsense!, he hissed at himself in his mind, I am above such filthy urges, now.

He shook his head to bring himself back.

"Are you after a cure? If you are then I think you know I will help you in any way I can to find it."

Seraph merely watched as events unfolded before him, holy water sizzling into steam when it got close to him during the little battle between Dash and Shade. He inclined his head towards Sera, grinning. "And this is why I don't get involved very often. Crazy things happen."

Sera rolled her eyes at her father, who was now grinning like a fool. "While that's certainly a good reason, there are always good times to randomly jump in and do something, otherwise, they'll never get fixed."

"Oh, and things didn't go reasonably well just now?"

"Shut up."

"Hehe..." He chuckles and stood up and faced Dash. "You look hungry. Or thirsty. Or whatever it is you Vampires feel. Would you like something to eat? Uhm... Drink? Something?"

Most interesting... Phares remarked to himself, having barely poked his head into the portal he had made for Dash, just to see what would happen. Most interesting indeed. Pausing for a few seconds to decide his next move, he finally stepped through the portal and into the cave, his evil already darkening and cooling it.

Knuckles had already sensed it and he looked at the dark shadows. "...Phares." He narrowed his eyes. "He's here."

"Hey, where're you going?" Tails asked, watching him go. "Geez..."

Dash's hands were suddenly covered in lightning, his hairs stood up from the static, and small jolts of electricity were pulsating around his eyes.

Spirit Gem: I don't mean to be violent, but I was hoping it would play out like this.

Dash could feel his mind gem watching intently. very, very intently.

He hovered slightly, about six inches off the ground, his coat floating in the air around him as if he was underwater.

Phares stepped out from the shadows of a corner, grinning. "Aren't we excitable?" He coolly glanced at everyone, taking in their apparently angry faces. His eyes rested upon Seraph, who was sheltering Sera behind him, even though she kept trying to peek at Phares. He walked up to Seraph, the two face to face, glaring at each other with a special type of hatred. The sort of hatred that comes from thousands of years of being foes.

"Do you need something?" Seraph asked, sounding as if this were something that happened every day, yet still somewhat straining.

"Just wanted to see how you've aged since I was gone, that's all." He winked as his grin grew wider. "And I owe you something..." Suddenly his fist drew back and slammed Seraph in the face, sending the white-haired being into the cave wall behind him, knocking Sera to her feet. "Damn, that felt good..."

Lillian, of course, was far more hotheaded. She could deal with sneaking by him earlier, but this was inexcusable! "You think you're so tough!? take THIS!" she fired a few of the holy water shells at him, glaring angrely "Die demon!"

His hand lashed out and actually stopped Lillian's bullets in mid-flight. Their holy water splashed over him, and was absorbed into his skin. "Ech, this water is tainted... And little miss, demons are below me. Don't lump me with their kind." He dropped the spent casings to the ground and looked at Dash. "I'm here to look at things and..." He motioned at the unconscious Seraph, stuck in the impression his body made in the wall. "Do that. It's quite entertaining to see him like that after so long..."
