"Indeed. But you know I never rest. I usually end up passing out of exhaustion first. But thats normal for me. Not like it does any permanent damage to someone like me." Speedy as ever, Saradin's future cheesecake was nearly done mixing and he pushed it aside to turn and lean against the counter, watching Aurah. "Must have been a really poor choice to drive you to drink like this." Something wasnt right in what he was being told, but he wouldnt force it out, just wait for the full story. Patience was one of his few real virtues.

Nailah felt a blush tinge her cheeks as Elias comment hit her. She shook her head and quickly dressed. She really didn't care what she looked like at this point. She would make herself look better later. She left the room and slowly made her way to the kitchen. She had a lot to discuss with Aura...mostly what she thought of the dream. And why she was so worried. Niah checked just to make sure and her empath senses were in full swing.

Aura looked at the bottle in front of her. She usually didn't drink from unlabeled bottles...but she figured Saradin wouldn't pull a 'Watcher' stunt and break out the stuff the would practically kill her. It wasn't his style. Shrugging she poured some of it into her glass and downed it shot style. It did burn slightly, but it really didn't bother her too much. Two shot style's from a wine glass later, ti wasn't working. "Sometimes...I hate being Egyptian. Have like an anti-drunk gene...." She set the glass down on the table again. "Good try though."

"You can't be an alcoholic if you can't get drunk. You know that." She trailed a finger around the edge of her empty glass, leaning her cheek against one propped up hand. Aura side glanced Nailah at the spoken dead language. "Just say what you have to say Nailah..."

Nailah stared into her wine. She really wasn't sure what to say. She had so many questions but truth be told she was a little afraid of Aura. After all her jaw still hurt. And she would have a bruise. She looked at the oven and prayed the cheesecake she knew it contained would cook quickly. "Yes I know that but the going joke is I'm the Drunk." Niah began to brood again. Then she said "Aura I am so sorry. I don't like losing control but I swear to you I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't me...I would never hurt you....you know that don't you?"

Nailah looked at her, "Yeah you could take me along with just about everyone else in this manor." Nailah mumbled a few things under her breath and then came to sit down at the table. "I can't get rid of them..the nightmares. They won't go away and they are getting worse. I can't sleep. And just the other night Alexander came in screaming at me. And he froze my room. Froze it. Completely. Well except for the bed..."

That last comment shot Saradin in mid drink. The small gusher of liquor that shot away from the table certainly came out of the blue, but he quickly recovered. "I think I'll just go check on that cake." In a heartbeat, Saradin was at the oven and hopefully away from whatever Aurahkah was thinking of. It had been what, most of his life since he'd really dealt with the situation?

Aura just burst out into a fit of laughter. As did Eclipse. Oh it funny really. "No no no not," she quoted the air with her fingers, "'sleep with somebody', just sleep with somebody. Not 'sleep' just sleep. Figures you two would connotate it in that manner. It's refreshing to see so." She sobered her laughter some and leaned back in her chair again. "I mean I used to have nightmares all the time, I don't sleep alone, I don't have them. Simple as that. No 'sleeping' involved. Only sleep. And you could always sleep with Alexander...though I doubt there'd even be remains in the morning." She laughed at the absurdity of the idea.
