Nailah stumbled back as the sai connected with her jaw. A crack sounded in the quiet room. Niah was confused. She fell to the ground. Her eyes were having trouble focusing and she couldn't see clearly. She was aware of a twinge in her jaw and slowly awareness came back to her. Her jaw was on fire all of a sudden. Pain shot through her body and she felt as though she'd been hit with a stick. She opened her eyes again and saw Aura standing abover her. She had her sai in hand. Behind stood...Saradin?!

((Cripes... why doesnt anyone get that I'd rather be here than go out to a movie?))

"What happened?" Naturaly concerned for the hit sent over by Aurahkah, Saradin knelt beside Nailah and checked looked her in the eyes. "You okay now? You had this glazed over look in your eyes. How's your jaw?" The field medic in him put his hand on her chin gently and examined it for a bruise or mark proving any damage.

Elias had finished the door, but that was something that was going to have to wait. Something was very wrong, dropping his obsidian blades back into there hilts at his side he ran towards Lady Saradin something was definately very wrong. "What is going on Lady Aura?" he said with a strong look of concern on his face.

Aura put her sai back in it's resting place and then crossed her arms, the one bearing her bracelet under the other subconsciously out of protection for the golden object there. She still didn't say a word, she was busy thinking. At least she hadn't broken her jaw, she could talk fine...yell even. But her mind weighted heavier things. Where had Nailah heard that? It was so specific...something that wasn't uttered casually or with such accuracy.Her gaze shifted to Saradin. "She said something that shouldn't be know by anyone else other than one man." Glaring once more, trying to replace fear with anger so as it wouldn't show, she turned and pushed past Elias. "I hit her...that's what happened." It was rather cold and she continued down the hall away from the crowded room. She came to a stop in the great hall, arms still crossed and head slightly bowed, bangs covering her eyes. "Dammit..."

"Calm down Niah. Explain it slowly, nothing's wrong, we've dealt with stranger things before." Saradin pulled up a conveniently placed chair beside her and sat down in it, looking for a little clarity in this situation. "You didnt kill Aurahkah, but you did scare her. What did you see and what was it that was trying to control you?"

To say tha Elias was confused at that moment would have been an understatement, he had his ideas about what was going on, but he thought that it would be best not to say anything at the time. I was glad that the girls had gone out to explore in the forest with Enoch because he knew that they would not have liked what they say or sensed. Turning to face Lady Naliah, he knelt beside her. "Are you alright?" he said as he looked up at the gorgeous young girl.

She was by this time, pacing around the great hall, no particular pattern to it, more of just a wandering pacing motion where point a eventually lead to a undetermined point b and back. She was angry at herself to an extent that she had hit the girl. Not even thought about it, just reacted. At least with the whole Saradin, shadow plane, fiasco she had tried to reason with the copy first. But she wasn't a copy, and this wasn't the shadow plane, and Aura had just lashed out because of a simple phrase. She wanted to check now...wanted to, but couldn't. She was too scared to look, too scared to face the possibility. He had to be dead, she had the proof...quite literally. But at the same time, she was still here as was Nailah, as Bastet. All were living proof that one could cheat death.
