I don't understand people who say "lol" in real life, either. LOL means laugh out loud... and if you say "lol," you're obviously not laughing out loud. rolleyes In fact, most people on MSN who say "lol" aren't laughing out loud at all. Therefore, they should say something along the lines of "haha" or "li" (as in, "laughing inside").

HAH! I remember the time I said "lawl" in real life. Gawd, how embarrassing. Good thing no one noticed. Probably the day I decided to stop using that particular acronym.
There's nothing to understand though, it's just the way it is. It's understood that people who say "lol" on a regular basis aren't actually laughing out loud when they type it. Hell, I know a guy who says "lmao" the way people say "lol". About every third line.

I definately say LOL in real life. It's a joke with me and my friends.
Our conversations.
Dude. Chuck Norris. LOL WTF ROFLCOPTER YOURMOMMA YOURFACE YOURMOMMA'S FACE
Rarely do I say "Like" instead of said. I ... ... I dunno. We did a workshop for writers back in sixth grade where you found as many alternatives of 'said'.
Haven't said said "Like" since.

Sometimes I try to stop saying "like", or at least not as much, but I just can't. It's just a really, really bad habit for me.

If I could ask a small favour of my fellow Canucks, please take a second to give me a vote in the avatar arena. I'm not asking for tens, be honest, but votes are loved. 3nodding heart Click me!

You have returned as in you have returned to Gaia, or as in you have returned to Nova Scotia? Or possibly both @.@ If you're back in Nova Scotia and you're going to be in Halifax sometime over the break we should definitely get together for coffee. I like meeting my Gaia friends in real life blaugh -Forever-Vamp-: I voted for you! I miss the macs at school! I just caught myself looking for the command key gonk

I was in Quebec city for a week, and now I'm home in Nova Scotia and back online, mostly. But I don't think I'll be in Halifax anytime over the break, although it would be fun because some of my friends from University are going there/live there already.

I don't think i've used "lol" since i was about... eh... 12?
