Caught in the middle of a mouthful of egg, Saradin froze -fork in mouth- as the newcomers entered. Quickly swallowing his mouthful and nearly choking himself to boot, Saradin managed a proper introduction between coughs. "Hello." Clearing out his air pipes, he squeezed out a few more words more readily. "My name is Saradin." Along with the complete sentences, he gave his standard greeting nod and took Tiu's hand in a basic shake while he ignored his egg, continuing to stab at it with his fork.

Trying no to laugh at him, Tiu turned to Aura. "Why are you trying to kill him? And why do you seem so cheerful about doing so?" Cocking her head to one side, Tiu waited for Aura to reply.

"See I told you I was trying to kill him, I just feel the need to do so." She gave Tiu a smile to accompany the statement. "Just joking...I couldn't kill Saradin, he wont' go down. He just keeps going." She rolled her eyes at herself and took another bite of her apple.
Eclipse fluffed his wings once more and tilted his head in Nivue's direction as the other hound approached. "Seems like you and Tiu are adjusting rather well."

"I like it here. Tiuechke seems to be adjusting slowly though, she is still struggling silently with the memory loss. I heard that Elias went flying through the great hall. What happened?"
Shaking her head and smiling, Tiu walked to the fridge. Opening it she located an apple, thinking that it sounded good. Aura seemed to be enjoying hers. Turning back, "Keeps going, huh?"

((I'm going to send the domos to bite the ankles off of the people who always distract me... domokun domokun ))
"Quite right." Back again to his surprisingly good egg, Saradin thought about how to best describe it. "I'm not sure if its luck, skill, or divine intervention. But I've yet to be killed." Listening keenly to all thats been said, he heaved another fork full of egg into his gullet and asked. "Elias? We've had quite a few new people come since I left, havent we?"

Aura counted them off on her fingers. "Nelphean, Tiu, Nivue, Elias, Dawn, Twilight, Enoch, and Aurora." She finished off her apple with a last bite.
Eclipse twitched his ears and titled his head in question to Nivue. "Elias did what now? Uh...he didn't break anything did he?"

"I heard from Tiuechke, who was standing in the great hall when this happened, that Elias and Twilight went flying throught the kitchen window, kitchen door, great hall, and library door. I am told that a book fell on him when he finally stopped flying through the air. I am just sorry I missed this."

"Well I am assuming it;s been fixed since I haven't seen any damage...hopefully Jaxom wont' come around soon with a magnifying glass to inspect every little thing. Though you're right, it would of been funny to see."

Hearing the conversation between Eclipse and Nivue, Tiu turns around. "Yes it was very funny seeing Elias flying through the air." Turning to Aura and Saradin, "I think I will go for a walk in the courtyard." Stretching, Tiu walks to the door, still carrying her apple. Turning at the door, "Nivue, stay here, I want to be alone for a little while."

Nailah was so tired. She stood in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. The circles under her eyes were getting darker and darker. She really looked like hell. Yawning she walked over to her bed and laid down. Just for a few minutes , she though sleepily.
Niah was standing in front of the manor. Once again. She blinked at looked around. Creepy place.
"I knew you couldn't resist", the voice echoed into eerie silence, "You are weak my my dear. Mortal. But you possess great power. Why won't you use it?"
Niah shook her head frantically trying to get rid of the voice.
He laughed cruelly, "You can't get rid of me my dear. I will control you. You just have to let the power take you once. You will never be the same."
Niah clenched her fists. "No! I won't lose control!"
"You have never lost complete control my dear. But you will. You will be helpless."
Niah's head began to spin she heard other voices. Ones from her past. But she refused to break.
"Well well I'm pleased mortal. You do have a backbone. I was beginning to wonder." The voices faded and the thing appeared before her. "Since you won't submit, I'll have to break you myself. Are you ready to make your nightmares reality my dear?" He laughed cruelly. "Why don't we go see one of your friends? I have a surprise she might find...rather stimulating."
Niah sat up in bed and screamed, "Aura come in here a minute. I...need your help with something." The voice was hers but it sounded strange. Her eyes though were open saw nothing in their glassed state.

Aura looked past Saradin, to the kitchen doorway. Thief sense could hear the voice clearly. Pushing herself up from her seat she nodded to Saradin, Eclipse and Nivue. "Excuse me, seems Niah is having an issue." Casually strolling from the kitchen she made her way through the great hall and down the north wing until she came upon Niah's door. She didn't bother knocking, seeing as she was called after all and stepped in the room, closing the door behind her. On the bed sat Niah, though she looked out of place somehow. "Yes Niah?"

Niah fully pushed back the covers and stood up. She reached for the dagger on the bedside table and twirled it in her fingers.
Nailah saw Aura in front of her. She was staring at Nailah confusion in her eyes.
"Now my dear this thief has a trinket that is not hers. I want it."
Nailah stared at Aura's bracelet. She couldn't...Aura was her friend. She tried to walk away but found she couldn't move.
The voice sounded angrily. "I am loosing patience with you mortal. Do it!"
Niah stared at Aura and screamed. "No!"
"You dare contradict me? You will pay mortal. You will pay dearly." He raised his hand and pointed at Aura. "I control you now remove the bracelet."
Niah began to sob. She reached forward and grabbed Aura and she tried to stop herself but she had no control.
Nailah reached forward and slowly inched towards Aura's bracelet. Her hand moved closer and closer until she could feel the cool gold in her hand.

Aura immediately snatched her arm away from Nailah's reach and took a step back herself, a mix of anger and disbelief dancing on her features. "What in the name of the Gods are you doing?" Almost instinctively one hand reached back and rested upon the hilt of her sai. As she calculated what was happening she stared at the girl in front of her. Something was definitely not right.

Nailah's answer was strange. She did not remember thinking the words yet she said them. "You have cheated death long enough. It is time to pay the Gods with your soul." The voice remained strange but it was hers...in a monotone. She pulled the dagger she had snagged from her table and put it up to Aura's neck. Sneering she said "It is time." She lunged forward aiming for the one spot that everyone was most vulnerable.

Saradin, already on his feet, was beside Nailah, reaching out with his hand to stop hers. "Niah? What are you doing?" Clearly she wasnt quite in control or at least not aware of what she was doing, so he treated things with suspicion but calmly. "This is Saradin, can you hear me Nailah?"
