Johnathan was glowering at his plate when he heard Artemis speak, looking up. "Fine, fine. Just had a bit of a sneezing fit," he said, explaining his more-than-average grouchy look. "And I've got to fill out paper work before I leave. Stupid paperwork ... and we're seeing Mot and Vad today," he reminded with a slight growl. Why or how he was friends with such maniacs, he would never now.

Artemis sat her plate down across from from Johnathan and sat down. "A sneezing fit, huh? Sure it isn't because people were talking about you? Ugh. Mom and John were being lovey-dovey all up in my room. So I had to put them out before coming over here." She chuckled. "Paper work, huh? It's not too much is it?"
When told they'd be visiting Mot and Vad, she looked up in surprise. "Them first, huh? Well, I sniff out their traps for you."

Johnathan grumbled some irritated jabs here and there about 'pathetic' other halfs and 'nosy mother mutts' and 'damned paperwork,' before finishing his food, nodding at the question. "I figure we can get the hard part over first, then head over to see Noah. We'll check to see Spero and Kiba, then I'll head over to say bye to Hydra," he listed, taking a spit of his drink.

Artemis laughed a bit at Johnathan before eating some of her food. "Sounds reasonable enough. Oh, yeah. I haven;t heard much from Noah. What is he doing lately? And Hydra lady? I heard one of the male lamias in the R&D department tried to court her the other day. It was funny and sad at the same time since he's the only lamia over here. The rest stayed in the desert base."

"From what I've heard, Noah spends a lot of time sparing and gardening, as weird as it might sound," Johnathan replied. "So he's mostly either at the gym or with Manny the mole doing backyard pruning. Hydra ..." he chuckled, shaking his head. "She does a lot of the upper-level planning and relocating of those who are more 'experiment' than 'beast.' Apparently, the mole are working on another big-scale hideout like HQ right now. They started years ago, but are still getting the earth nice and solid before really building and whatnot. But apparently it'll be less of a city and more of a comfy nature hole in the ground with a large amount of just free-growing plants. Since quite a lot of those like myself, Spero, and Mark are more comfortable in ... less-densely-populated areas." Possibly why Johnathan kept to himself so much, and why Spero never ever sang in front of anyone outside of his small family and group of friends. Crowds were just ... uncomfortable for them in a long-term situation.
Johnathan chuckled. "At any rate, he won't be the first guy she's turned down. Hydra has been looking for a mate, but apparently so far so one has caught her eye ... eyes yet."

"Noah? Gardening? Well, pigs can fly so...why not let him garden?" She didn't see the other much since, well, yeah. But she remember what he was like when she was little. Hyper and violent while Mot and Vad were hyper and mischievous. "Ah. Actually, the place we're transferring to is like that. There are a few buildings for us to work, a dormitory for those who don't want to sleep outside, and...a recreation center. But other than that, it's going to be mostly woods. An underground, woodland city. I'm a bit excited."

Johnathan nodded, having been told a little bit about the place when he'd requested a transfer. He didn't say it out loud, but he was excited too. It sounded ... like a nice place. Standing up, Johnathan motioned for Artemis to follow him. Well, time to go say goodbye to everyone and their eggs. Huh. He wondered if Kiba was still stupid-excited about his and Spero's eggs.

Artemis had just finished eating when Johnathan motioned for her to follow him as they went around saying goodbye. Leaving her tray at the drop off, she followed behind the other as they walked around to everyone's houses.

Johnathan was relived when Artemis was able to sniff out ever tray at Vad and Mot's place, giving him the opportunity to say goodbye and remain unpranked. Noah was actually hanging out with the two ... or beating them up. Or both. Either way, he got to kill to birds with one stone and say temporary farewells to the laughing lunatic as well.
It was nice to get to Spero and Kiba's, and knock on the door knowing these two would be a lot less ... high-strung than the crazy trio.
Spero was in the bedroom, the temperature turned up a bit higher than usual as he held the eggs close to himself, keeping them warm and lightly stroking the hard protective shells as he held the precious little ones against his now-slim stomach. "Kiba, can you get that," he asked quietly, looking at the other.

Kiba had been sitting nearby when he heard the knock. Nodding his head, he got up and answered the door. "Hm? Oh! Johnathan AND Artemis? Well, that's something you don't see everyday. Spero's in the bedroom with the eggs. Something up?" He asked tilting his head.
Artemis laughed a bit as his chipper mood. "We've come to say our partings?" She tried not to laugh at Kiba's expression. "We're transferring to another city."

Johnathan huffed at Kiba's exclamations and expression, acting as unamused as possible. "So good bye and good riddens to you," he said, walking past the shark and towards the bedroom. Kiba was an annoyance, but ... Spero was one of his few friends. So he wanted to say a proper goodbye to the quiet one.
He knocked, opening the door. Spero just smiled, motioning for Johnathan to come in. "Hi; I wasn't expecting to see you so soon," he chuckled, eggs craddled against himself. "I thought you hatted seeing Kiba so excited."
"I do," Johnathan replied moodily, "but I wanted to say goodbye."
"... Goodbye?" Looking confused, Spero sat up a bit. "Where are you going?"
Johnathan explained the ... circumstances as sparsely as possible, not wanting to give away his true ... feelings when someone besides Spero might here.
"Oh ... are you finally eloping?" Spero said, though he looked down knowing the other would be going away. As weird as it was ... Johnathan was one of his best friends.
"W-what-- I--- NO!" Johnathan said back, making the quiet one laugh at the doctor's flustered expression.

Artemis shook her head as Johnathan brushed past Kiba, but she stayed behind a bit longer to chat with the shark. She never had to chance to tell him what she saw of Mark and Riley in their new apartment. Thus, she was choosing now to fill him in. "Riley has probably had the kits by now and has a lot more children to care for. Maybe, if you and Spero don't get too busy raising your little Aquarians, your best friend would like to see you."
Kiba was silent. "So, you knew?"
"About the temporary exile? Yea. They finished the barrier while I was studying for my test, so everyone was squabbling about it like mad. But rather than by phone or by a letter, a personal visit from a best friend might be what he needs now that he's got a family again."

Johnathan sighed while Spero laughed, and motioned for the other to come closer. Johnathan sat down at the edge of the bed, and they had a quieter, more intimate talk about things for a little while now that it seemed neither of the people they cared about were listening, before Johnathan left the room and told Artemis to come along. He still had one more person to visit.
Hi on by a liama, huh? Sounded like a funny story he'd like to hear before he left from Hydra herself.

Artemis looked up as Johnathan came out and said they were leaving. "Okay. Remember what I said, Kiba. Goodbye!" She stood up and ran to catch up to Johnathan. "Alright...that just leaves Hydra, yes?" She looked up at the other with a smile. "You have a lot of friends, Johnathan."

The doctor huffed, muttering on their way: "I just know a lot of people who would throw a fuss if I didn't say goodbye, is all ..."
Though, once they walked into Hydra's office after a long walk, the way the short female greeted Johnathan was quite a friendly way to do so. Before he could even open his mouth, the other hurried over and grabbed him up in a hug, whether he wanted it or not. Johnathan sputtered, but sighed and endured the physical contact without too much grumbling.
Hydra pulled back, smiling with a knowing look in her eyes. "I'm glad you came over to say goodbye."
"You would've long-distance yelled at my if I hadn't" he replied. "So ... you dumped another guy, huh?"
Hydra laughed, putting her hand on her hips. "He was a tad too ... forward."
Johnathan let out a ghost of a chuckled, a little smile on his face. "So you taught him some manners?"
"I'm just surprised he didn't slither under a rock when I was done with him."
