"Hahah, I'll pass on putting any part of it on my wall. Heaven forbid one of it's cousins fines it."
*Wickit takes off his coat and vest and puts it up on a nearby chair. He then goes to get the nessasary materials for fixing up the gorrila along with a tarp to do the buisness on and a meat grinder*

"That should do it, now to get to work."

Grinning with a almost psychotic and murderous glare, Vincent slews the head of the gorilla off with one fine stroke of a cutlass. The head falls on the floor, a bloody lump of matted and torn fur, bone, and muscle.

"Shall we mount it on a poll and hang it near the end of town, sir?"

*Returning back to the Pub*

"Nay, Lad. No brutal tactics here...
We'll hang it from the Gallows in the Center of Bridgetown.
Then, when it begins to decay, we'll Stuff It!
Hows that ring to your ear?"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 22, 2006 9:56 pm

*looking at the head with an odd look in his eye*

"Ehh... that. Well, I say we clean it and mount it here as soon as possible. It wouldn't be wise to put it out in town, there might be more. One night at the Gallows will do, but longer then that wouldn't be safe."

*going back behind the counter one more time Wickit brings a barrel of salt*

"We'll need to salt the left overs (there will be quite a bit) and store it in a... scent free place. As for tonight, we shall feast!"

"Sounds good, sir. I haven't yet obtained a name from you, I hear you own that large ship at port. What may it be, sir?" Vincent asked, wiping the cutlass blade with his apron, which was now soaked in gorilla blood.

"I'm sorry, was it me you were addressing, Sir?"

"The name is Vincent, sir. Yes, I was addressing you..." He said, looking at him with slight confusion. He awaited his response, he also awaited the skinning of the gorilla to be done with so he could get on with the cutting and grinding.

*Wickit looked out the window. It was getting late and he had an appointment at midnight. He clears his throat and stands next to the fire at the head of the table*

"Brothers of Provoka! Weeks ago a behemoth followed this most welcome new comer, Vincent, to the pub. It trashed everything in site and continued to return to our humble island, attacking our people! After putting down traps, none which could take it down, we finally decided to hunt the monster! And hunt we did. The legendary Captain James Hook had his crocodile and we had our gorrilla. Now it lies evidence of a most succesful hunt and another victory for the United Pirates of Gaia! I welcome you to this week long feast and drink! The Sea Crow is loaded with cargo of drink and spices and for the next 7 days and nights we shall make use of it! 600 pounds shall easily feed us for that time! In honor of this most formidable enemy we shall take its bones and grind them into sand, letting the last of its remains become apart of Provoka! That is all, enjoy your feast!"

*With that, Wickit grins and goes back to work. The animal was being worked on well. But it was time to leave if he wanted to make it back to the Port of Gambino*

"I shall return, but for now I must go. Have a good night my friends."

((Ooh, sadtimes. I just had to decline join requests from me' Guild due only to the fact that they didn't give me any reason, what so ever, as to why I should grant them permission to come aboard. I hate this update, yet needed it so.))

*Nodding in realization*

"By Jov, Your Right! In the midst of the chaos, I have completely forgotten myself and have not yet given proper introductions."

*Approaching his chair.*

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Captain J. Kurisutofa.
Master & Commander aboard the Pirateer Brig, H.M.S. Lady Washington. I am at your service. I am but a humble servant of Provoka."

*Removing his hat, he takes a dramatic low, sweeping bow and then regains himself and re-flops back into his loungechair in the most relaxed mood that he'd been in, in quite an amount of time.*

"Am I to be the one to carve the roast beast
or is someone else to do it?"

*Raising his glass to Master Wickit's wonderful speech, he raises a curious hand and addresses those who might take interest.*

"Might anyone mind so if I were to claim his teeth & shoulder blades for myself? Gorilla Ivory grinds wonderfully & I should so very much enjoy turning it to powder and carving the blades into pieces for an hourglass. I'll blow the glass myself once I get the means to."

*Gazes around waiting to se eif anyone objected.*

"Mhrm..I take it Wickits crew will handle it. Or..." He said, with a sly look. "..we COULD do it ourselves. Take some home, dry it out, salt it and store it in a few barrels..."

Vincent waited until Wickit left, and then began to make the wanted cuts on the gorilla's large body, salting them and skinning them. After what seems an eternity, he has butchered a large pile of dark red gorilla muscle, salted and ready to go on the fire.

"Well, Kurisutofa, pleasure meeting you. Feel free to drop by for tea, I have a house just outside of town, along the coast. As for myself..." He said, getting a crate "..I best be getting some of this gorilla home with me." He nodded, and began packing gorilla into the crate.

"Well, well... it seems that everyone has tired themselves and has already retired for the night. If you would be so kind..."

*Reaches into his boot, pulls out his boot dagger and tears into the Great Ape and removes his shoulder blades. He then locates the Gorilla's head and plucks the teeth from it's mouth. He'd find white sandstones to replace the teeth with at a later time.*

..Ah, there. This will be perfect."

Jack then enters the pub, although he had attempted to sleep through much of the commotion his curiosity got the better of him and he came to inspect the area.
Upon entering the pub the strange smell of blood met his nostrils and it was then he saw a huge hairy man lying on the floor, being sliced, decapitated and skinned.
He also noticed that is seemed as though most of the residence had retired whereas he had only just awoken.
As such he helped himself to alcohol, hoping no one would notice to charge him for it, and sat down to take a closer look at the beast.
He noticed that all its teeth were missing and that people had removed the juicier pieces of meat, probably for eating.

"...Jay'sus, I'm asleep fer' ten minutes an' this happens."

Jack then chugs his beaker of rum.

(Ah, I missed the adventure...'tis a shame...)

He then realizes that if he hadn't slept through the chaos he wouldn't have the free rum. His humor then greatly improves as he begins to snatch as many bottles of rum as he can.

"STAND FAST THERE, YOU! WHAT IN BLAZES DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?"

*Standing, he slowly walks over to Mr. Kraken and juts his head over Kraken's right shoulder and gets in real close.*

"Spirits & the like be on my change purse tonight, my good friend.
No need to be stealin' it. Yet, I ask you to take no more than is needed.
I'm not a rich man by any means... I'm simpley well to do. A gentleman of fortune. So, leave some for the others... don't be a glutton Mr. Kraken."

*Drifts off back to his chair and falls fast asleep. The events of the day had worn him out.*
