"So what brings you here?" Kantor asks, closing his book and gesturing for Kayoko to come and kepp him company. "I though I was the only one that liked the quietness of this spot."

"Quite a distance away though. Having these flappers on my back makes travel a lot easier."

"Demon wings," he admits shortly. "My mother is drow, and my father not - my twin sister is wingless, as are both my parents, but something went wrong with me, and I have these. Both a blessing and a curse."
*He looks surprised that he has admitted that to someone he has only know a few minutes*
"The sun must be getting to me. I'm not normally this talkative."
