Kit blushed a little more deeply now, clearly unable to hide it, as the torture of her tickles subdued. He took in a few breaths, and caught her eyes with a smile upon his lips.
"You've shown me more than I knew was here... you took in strangers, and showed them a warm and comfortable place..." Kit blushed a little more, his eyes darting as he searched for words. Finding her eyes again, he took in a breath before the words left his lips, still cautious and careful, not wanting to worry her "...And you've made a close friend,"

Upon hearing his words, she wasn't quite certain what he was getting at, and so she continued to listen, searching for his point. "Yeah....?" She watched him blush, and took in his highly uncomfortable demeanor. Just what was he trying to tell her? A look of confusion settled upon her face as she tilted her head just a bit more.

Kit blinked, as she looked very confused at the moment, his attempt to be sly about things obviously not working.
Blushing a little more, he looked to her eyes still, feeling himself become in quite the awkward position.
Kit had been many places, seen many things, and done things that no one should have to do to survive in life. But, life here was different, and everyone had to do what they had to do, just to live, breathe, survive, and continue onwards, hoping for a brighter future. Still, with all of his secrets, and all of his mysteries, and all of his past that he could tell no one about, he never felt as tense and uneasy and fragile as he did now. He looked to Jan's curious eyes, letting his emotions speak, for the first time in as long as he could recall.
"...I think I love you..." Kit said to her softly, cheeks red, bitting his lower lip.

January's heart stopped for a good ten seconds. She felt almost light-headed after hearing that one small statement. Looking into his eyes, she knew he was telling her the truth. Nobody could look that uncomfortable before telling a lie. It was something that had taken her by surprise to say the least, but it wasn't something that she was particularly opposed to.
With a soft smile she nodded and said, "I think I might love you too."

Kit feel his cheeks turn red as the words left his lips, starting to blush as he spoke. He could feel a slight tension of stressful worry build up in his jaw, not knowing how he would be recepted.
As she spoke back, the wave of tension was completely washed away, as joy started to replace it all.
With a smile, he hugged her the tightest he could manage, doing his best not to squeeze her too much. Lips placed a kiss onto her warm cheek, and then he looked softly into her garnet eyes, as his glowed golden, just a bit.

A slight pop was heard as Kit scooped up the bar-tending songstress and managed to hug her so tightly she thought she might snap into two pieces. Just as he let up and she started to breathe again, a kiss was delivered to her cheek. It was soft and tender; something that never failed to amaze her about Kit. She smiled softly, staring back into his eyes, wondering at the golden glow.
Jan couldn't help but smile, though she wished she could stop. Her face was starting to hurt a little bit. So instead, she gave him a warm hug and stayed where she was, happy to see that he was content.

Kit looked quite astonished into Jans eyes, smiling just as equally. He couldn't help it, his feelings for her revealed after their so short time together. His mind and heart were aflutter.
He held her close to him, allowing her to rest her head upon his shoulder. Kit closed his eyes softly, still smiling with the closeness of their figures.

Jan let herself be completely at ease. Her eyes closed as she rested against him. She felt for a brief moment that her heart was completely in sync with his. Kit's appearance seemed to be somewhat of a god-send. Even though she'd only known him for a little while, it was astonishing how quickly he'd worked his way into her heart.

Candira Jan let herself be completely at ease. Her eyes closed as she rested against him. She felt for a brief moment that her heart was completely in sync with his. Kit's appearance seemed to be somewhat of a god-send. Even though she'd only known him for a little while, it was astonishing how quickly he'd worked his way into her heart. Kit kissed her lips once, very, very light, before looking into her eyes once more, his own slightly glowing yet. Kit finally broke the silence, and possibly breaking the moment in process. "So, what do we do from here..." He asked, somewhat awkwardly.

A kiss, so light and tender that she thought she might float off into the clouds entered her realm of consciousness. And the moment was ruined by an awkward question that was actually very cute. The red-head couldn't help but laugh at the question.
"We go where ever we feel like," she said as she hugged him, her laughter dying down. "Of course, we could just go back to the way things were and slip each other love-notes," she said with a giggle. Her hair spilled onto his shoulder for just a moment before she kissed his cheek and sat up straight, somewhat further away from him.

"Oh, I'm fresh out of Post-It's... " Kit teased a little, planting another kiss randomly upon her face.
*kit looked back to her, as Jan's hair waterfalled over her shoulders, and onto him. His hands raised to her hips snugly as she started to sit up, gazing quite fully over her figure and form, in love with it, as he was with the rest of her.

She shook her head and smiled at him, enjoying his touch. Her eyes took in his form as well, though a bit more discreetly than his took in hers. Jan gave him another hug and kissed his forehead before getting up.
"Well then. If you're out of post-its, I guess it'll never work," she said with a shrug, beginning to leave.

Kit blinked, and his hands slid along her legs as much as they could as she pulled back and started to leave. He stayed on the bed, and looked over to her.
"...but I have cookies." Kit said, hoping somehow that might help.

She laughed and turned around to face him. Her garnet eyes locked onto his form and she slowly began walking toward him again. "Well. That changes everything." Jan smiled and kissed him softly, sitting back down on the bed. "But I'm tired, so I'm going to bed. Might wanna seal the deal, pal."
