((sorry...life in the fast lane is not always open enough to allow things...sometimes my posts fall along the wayside of the outside of my mind. apologies.))
A quiet chanting could beehard from within. The door, of course, was locked. Within, Jimmy Crow sat with his back agasint teh wall, cross legged with his eyes closed. Around him in a semi circle burned white cnadles, the glames long and whip-like as they danced around him. His words were both strange and melodic...a lilting tongue that seemed to rhyme words together in a sort of sing-song gibberish.
"El anah tesah ganah eri alloe cassaderah en aku seva dire ((the e is a long a sound)) jeru setna kakasere ((e is another long a)) Agrah lah tesah aku ganah eri el en teru..." and so it continued in a beat as though to some distant drum. The flames dacned still higer and suddenly an orb of fire appeared, floating before his face like some miniatrue sun, his chanting continued and the ball flattened into a bowl-like structure. Slowly, Jimmy opened his eyes, they were red and glowing as his skin glistened with the sweat he exuded out of the effort. A scene appeared within the fiery bowl but a feminine laugh, cold yet strangely seductive, rippled through the scene that was starting to unfold and before Jimmy could close the scrying portal, he was thrown back against the wooden wall crushingly. The fire winked out then, and the flames died down to normal and Jimmy slumped agaisnt the wall, not unconcious...but tasting once again the bitter meal that is defeat.

((i= sad....I was kicked out of my school's musical for missing A practice...I was made an example of crying ...sad because I have nothing else to do...on the plus side, I know everyone in the theatre program so i can come to the cast parties. so I guess that's a silver lining...))

((Sorry about that (last post); it's okay (post before last))) Rrazpe listened, with nothing better to do, and wasn't able to make any sense of it. A minute or so after the noise seemed to have cut off, he knocked again. ((this isn't the only RP that refers to your character for a response, I just mentioned it via PM because it hadn't been active in awhile... It's now morning of the next day, if you didn't already know that.))

Jimmy blinked several times, the knocking bringing him sharply back to reality. Sighing he stood and stepped over the cnadles, opening the door slowly.
"Yes?" he asked, trying to keep that edge of despair from his voice.

"You're alive, obviously," said Rrazpe. "I have no idea why, but I somehow felt a compulsion to meet you. M'name's Rrazpe, and I work here..."

Jimmy managed to give a small smile and extended one hand, "A pleasure to meet you, my name is Jimmy Crow."

Saro heard them upstairs, or at least the crash, and assumed Rrazpe would handle it. She put the mixture in the oven, going back to the bar and sitting on the stool again, leaning against a support beam on the end of the bar.

He shook the hand about half of once, perfunctorily, and said, "I didn't quite get everything from the kitchen last night, though I heard enough of it. Were you staying here for working or as a customer?"

Marin slowly woke up and crawled out of her bed, throwing a black knee-dress on and brushing her hair. She walked down to the bar, to see only Saro. She muttered, "Hello Saro. How are you this morning?"

Jimmy blinked several times before he began to comprehend.
"Well I don't exactly have money to stay...I suppose I could pick up some spare chores till i get a better understadning of this world. I will need to know my way around before attempting to fly off again." He smiled, his reddish face transformed from tired and weary to what it must have looked like before the accident that ruined his life. That image was only there for a moment and then it faded and he once again looked weary and somehow older.

"This, world?" said Rrazpe, shaking his head slightly. "I guess you're right then," he continued after a moment, not indicating whether he disbelieved or was simply agreeing.

Jimmy nodded, not seeming to care much and smiled wearily again.
"Well it was a pleasure to meet you and I suppose I shall see you again." with those words he closed the door and fell back upon his bed...it was all too much to handle, but while Wendigo was out there...he had to keep going.

Rrazpe left, at the same time generalizing his conclusion of this newest person. Complete oddball, will fit in just fine...

Marin replied witha yawn. "I'm tired too." She almost fell asleep for a moment, but asked, "Where is everyone?" And by everyone she meant, Cyric, Rrapze, Isaran, and the new guy.
