MadTiger i know nothing. But i do know how to tie my own obi. yay. surprised surprised surprised surprised REALLY?! I fail at that so hard. I can't tie it in any of the really fancy ways that you would do on regular kimono (and I don't even want to think about how one would tie the obi on furisode. gonk )... Yukata obi are thinner and easier to manipulate. I was taught how to put the full yukata on by myself so that when I'm back in the states I will be a dork and able to wear it. 3nodding

You know what? These so called guitars Gaia gave us only have three strings. That's just not functional.

Hence why I can't bring myself to wear it as a guitar.
Hell, its a choice between a demonic or angelic shamisen at this point. ninja

You guys I was looking through back issues of Japanese magazines the other day and I found one about J-rockers eating. It has pictures of various bands eating. Nothing else. (Actually, make that J-music.)
Eat Generation: Musicians Guide for Music Gourmet includes:
BACK DROP BOMB BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS BOREDOMS BRAHMAN BUFFALO DAUGHTER DENKI GROOVE DMBQ DRAGON ASH EASTERN YOUTH HUSKING BEE NUMBER GIRL QURULI SNAIL RAMP SEAGULL SCREAMING KISS HER KISS HER SHAKA ZOMBIE SUPERCAR SUPER BUTTER DOG YURA YURA TEIKOKU
And SO MANY OTHERS. Lots of bands from Summer 1999, I believe?
