Gotta keep kitties paranoid. I mean, if it's not always on it's toes it's likely to get snatched up into the jaws of a terrible or just unpleasant monster.
Now my cat bites the side of my hand instead but if I point a finger in his face he just trys to back away.

Shokushu My cats were all platful when we first exposed them to catnip but after just two days they just got used to it or something. It's no fun for me if they don't run back and forth really fast and into walls crying my cat, Random, does that anyway.

My cats will do it once every few months. When we first gave them catnip I thought we had found a way to initiate it but they got used to it after just two days. crying
