Adrienne didn't really want his help beyond having the wire removed and intended to show it. The moment he came near her with the intention of tended to the wound that he had essentially been the cause of, she let out a low hiss and pulled her legs away. "Leave it alone."

Jin removed a segment of rope from beside one of the containers. It was the same piece that he had used to bind her to the horse.

It annoyed Adrienne to no end that she suddenly realized she would indeed need to use the bathroom before they took off again. "I don't intend to ussse the bathroom with you watching."

He grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side; reaching behind her for a moment to hastily undo the knot he had tied before tearing the scarf away with a crack like a whip.
"If you prefer, there is a bush twelve meters to the right upon exiting."

Adrienne opted for the bush and made her way carefully over to it, crouching behind it. She disliked removing her blindfold but in this situation, she really had no choice. She needed to be able to see clearly where she was going so that she wouldn't trip. Hidden behind the bush, she pulled the blindfold up, tucking it neatly behind the band that held it place. It was actually rather refreshing to be able to see her surroundings, but there would be time to enjoy that later.
Adri did what any kidnapping victim would do... she ran.

Jin, on the other hand, had prepared a plate for her. It had only taken a minute and everything was ready by the time Adrienne began stumbling through the bushes to make her getaway.
The bandit hung up both the rope and the scarf in the back of the wagon, rounded up the horses from where they had been left to rest, and then refitted them with their bits and yolked them to the wagon once again.
This was a mountainside, after all. There was little enough room to run safely, and it would be difficult to get far half dressed and barefoot. Jin had noted which direction that she ran to, and from there he drove the wagon after her once things were ready.
He was in no hurry. The more she tired herself out, the easier she would be to handle.

The wounds on her calves hurt, but she ignored that pain and the new pain in her feet where the gravel was cutting her. Short of breaking a leg, she wasn't about to give up on running, although it wasn't the best environment for her to lose the bandit in. She was pretty positive hiding from Jin was out of the question.

It wouldn't be long before the wagon caught up to Adrienne and the horses slowed somewhat so that it stayed behind her on the road.
Jin sat quietly, driving the wagon behind the fleeing slave.

Adrienne sighed. She knew the odds were stacked against her. He had horses, clothing, and equipment. She had bare feet and a treacherous mountain path. Nothing short of a miracle was going to save her at that point and miracles were out of her realm of power. Adri hated him at that moment, more than she hated having to spend the majority of her life blindfolded.
She stopped, reaching up to pull the blindfold down again. The one thing that was normally her trump card would be useless against someone who already knew she had it. The basilisk slumped to the ground and waited. She was defeated and she knew it.

"Are you done running for now, my Lady?" Jin asked her as he stopped the wagon.
"Perhaps after dinner you could try again."
The canvas behind him was pushed aside and he reached through for a small cloth sack that he had prepared which had a meal's worth of bread and chopped vegetables, as well as a canteen of clear water. He tossed it out from the wagon towards where the basilisk was sitting.
"If you didn't stop to use the bathroom perhaps you should still do so."

Adri huffed and disappeared behind some rocks to actually use the bathroom before returning to collect the food and water he'd thrown to her. Her next stop was the back of the wagon, where she'd eat her meal in silence.

Jin pulled on the reigns and redirected the wagon in the direction that they had been going all along. He would let her eat and rest, if necessary. If she wanted to jump off of the wagon and run again, he would let her see how far she could get again.
"Tell me, Lady Adrienne. Where do you think you were running to?"

Adri refused to answer, refused to admit to her own brash thinking, she'd gone with the fight or flight response in the worst possible situation. She settled against the side of the wagon, just behind Jin. "I don't sssuppossse you have any clothing for me other than a nightgown?"
